Utah police replace woman’s American flag after she breaks it while fighting off home intruder
The woman was worried she desecrated Old Glory while defending against the suspect

Utah police helped replace a woman’s American flag after she broke it while using Old Glory to protect her family from a home intruder on Monday, authorities said.The woman and several family members were assaulted just outside their home after a man entered through the front gate around 8:45 a.m., the South Salt Lake Police Department said in a news release.
“I grabbed my glory and started beating the hell back,” Timmerman told the station. “I whooped his a– and I’ll whoop it again.”
The family ran inside their home to escape the attacker, but the suspect kicked in their door and continued to attack them, police said.
Officers arrived at the home and arrested the intruder, identified as 42-year-old Justin Scott Smith. He was charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and two counts of assault.

Suspected robber fatally shot at Wash Pointe Car Wash in Roseville
Car wash patron was armed
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Police are investigating an attempted robbery that resulted in a fatal shooting that killed one of the accused robbers, Roseville police said.
The shooting happened at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Wash Pointe Car Wash. Police say a 30-year-old man was at the car wash and was approached by two male suspects who revealed a handgun and attempted to rob the car wash patron.
The car wash patron was armed and police said he “exchanged gunfire with one of the alleged robbers.” During the shooting, one of the robbers — now identified as a 16-year-old boy from Detroit — was shot and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The 30-year-old man was initially arrested and then was released pending investigation and prosecutor review. The second male suspect fled the scene on foot and is being sought by police.

DA: Shooting that injured woman in Easton was self-defense

EASTON, Pa. – An altercation in Easton ended with a woman being shot, but now the injured woman is behind bars.The Northampton County district attorney announced Wednesday that the shooting just over two weeks ago was a case of self-defense.
Tiasha Ennis, 30, is facing charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in the incident on Monday, Aug. 17 in the 900 block of Ferry Street.
Police responded there around 1 p.m. and found Ennis had been shot in the shoulder.
After further investigation, police say a woman, being called “N.S.” for the investigation, walked out of her home as Ennis approached her.
“A female identified as Ms. Ennis confronted her from the sidewalk directly in front of the residence,” said Northampton County DA Terry Houck, during a news conference Wednesday morning.
Ennis was accusing N.S. of having intimate relations with her child’s father. N.S. denied it, claiming not to know who Ennis was, and police say Ennis lunged toward the victim.

Don’t think the women ‘broke’ the flag itself but ‘spooned’ the flag(allowing it to touch ground, therefore ‘desecrating’ it). Think this women actually should be wholly lauded for her ‘improvised weapons’ skills AND for just plain ‘whoop’n ass’. Adirondack chair/flag pole or not – this women is a true patriot by virtue of defending and protecting her home with very essence of American culture – it’s Flag. Bravo Zulu Lejune Timmerman…

You guys missed one. In St. Louis a feral pavement predator was shot after he shot at a Dollar Store because the staff made him leave because he wasn’t wearing a mask. In the parking lot, he pulled hit gat and shot at the store. Another patron near the entrance then pulled his legal CCW pistol and shot the Black hero. Since he is likely a felon, he has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm, along with the burglary and assault charges. But then the DA is the same one who charged that St. Louis couple, so maybe she will give him a pass as a “peaceful protester.”
