Man shot after knocking on front door of wrong home in Kennesaw, cops say
By Shaddi Abusaid
A heavily intoxicated man was shot early Friday after repeatedly knocking at the front door of someone else’s Kennesaw home, police said.Officers responded to the house at the intersection of Maple Drive and North Avenue about 2:45 a.m. after receiving a call about a suspicious person, Kennesaw police spokesman Officer Scott Luther said.
When they arrived, they found a man lying in the front yard with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder.
Investigators learned that the gunshot victim, 28-year-old Gregory Pendleton of Kennesaw, “was intoxicated to the point of not realizing he was at the wrong house,” Luther said. He had also previously went to another part of the residence, alarming one of the residents, police said.

Central Florida man shoots home intruder dead after ‘bizarre’ crime spree
By TIFFINI THEISEN
A homeowner fatally shot a home intruder after the suspect’s “bizarre” crime spree Friday morning in Lakeland, Polk County Grady Judd said. The dead man, 45, and a woman who was with him had driven from Orlando to Polk County to meet someone, Judd said.
When the man broke into a resident’s home, the homeowner’s parents, wife, and a 9-year-old were also inside.
Judd said the homeowner didn’t immediately shoot, but called 911 and tried to subdue the suspect after the 6-foot, 250-pound man crashed through a glass front door, Judd said.
Deputies arrived shortly after and attempted first aid on the suspect “to no avail,” Judd said.

Shot and killed for crossing the road too slowly? Now THAT’S harsh.
And I echo Mr Bovard’s sentiment. Too many laws. Which also echoes Ayn Rand’s sentiment.
“The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”
Rand was wrong. Government has a LOT more power than just cracking down on criminals.
Lawd halp, took me a bit bit to get here. Catching up on the overnight dispatches, answering same, then perusing thru these offerings. I laffed and laffed at the linkys I sent to ‘Ed, and yeah the LA (Lower AlaDAMNbama) story was a real WTFO/YGBFSM moment.
And YOU!!!, Yeah YOU, the Aeronautically designated swimming swabbie. Just had to go and put that linky to the S&W 442, KNOWING I’d click on it! KNOWING that I’d see that 1911, KNOWING I’d click that and be lead down the Rabbit Hole of the Auction that we missed! KNOWING that I’d be occupied for awhile! Btw…THANKS! Y’all need to check that out. Be prepared to slobber and whimper over the goodies displayed.
My Baby Girl got her that S&W 442 on my recommendation back last Christmas. Works real well for her small frame and itty bitty hands. For some of you more muscle bound miscreanted boomers, here’s another 4-4-2 to enjoy!

Here is a “feel good” story of an entirely different type. A person had to deal with repeated trespass. Used a novel solution.

What is sad is that 1.8 thousand people downvoted that video.
What is there not to love, much less like about the kid, the property owner and what he did?
It seems that there are nothing but people who exist to be buttwipes in this world.
Three cheers for the homeowner!
“He had also previously went”… whatever happened to Sister Mary Margaret?
Teaching through play. What better method is there? That child will become an excellent driver later in life.
The guy that shot the pedestrian for walking too slow can say that it was a peaceful shoot which seems to work. Just look at the shit-birds that were trying to burn down the Police station with the officers inside, claiming that it was a peaceful torching. Seems like they are following in SS Panzer Joecum Peiper’s foot steps who torched a church in Normandy with Canadian POW’s locked up inside and shot the American GI’s in the Malmady massacre. Next step is another Malmady incident, peaceful of course./Sar
You folks should spend more time at the range and less time at first aid classes!!!
WW!!! Let me be the FIRST to say Welcome Home Brother! You are missed, but with range time, maybe our aim will improve! 😆 😛
Hope you are continuing to do well and your leg is healing up. And may all of your Nurses be like Nurse Dish and not Nurse Ratched!
Stay in touch! We can talk about you but we can’t talk without ya!
WW,
“We can talk about you but we can’t talk without ya!”
Are you commo, by any chance?
That was one our two (unofficial) Signal Corps mottos.
The other one was (applied strictly to DATs and CDATS), “without us, all you got is a 60 ton rolling paperweight”.
I’m sure we could have come up with similar for KoB 5/77.
