All Hands, Listen Up!

The video below is an interview with Dr. Fauci saying it is quite okay to vote in person as long as people take proper precautions, e.g., mask, social distancing.  No need for mail-in ballots, after all, unless you feel the need to use that.

http://www.hideoutnow.com/2020/08/dem-favorite-fauci-blows-narrative-on.html

FAUCI: “I think if carefully done, according to the guidelines, there’s no reason that I can see why that not be the case.

For example, you know, when you look at going to a grocery store now in many regions and counties and cities that are doing it correctly, they have Xs every six or more feet and it says, ‘Don’t leave this spot until the person in front of you left their spot.’

The text of part of the interview is also at the link.

And to think I was considering using that mail-in ballot I haven’t sent for yet, because I didn’t request it.  Thanks, Doc!  I’ll go vote, go get some ice cream and go shoot photos of the geese coming for a landing in the evening.

Grocery shopping or mass street protests are low risk.

Voting in person, or under absentee ballot restrictions, is an existential threat.

Sounds like someone wants to stuff the box, and it isn’t Bill.

But Russionz?

Now Trump is stealing the election by forcing people to go vote!

MustangCryppie

That was on a Tuesday. What did he say on Wednesday?

David

well, we all know that the Republicans are trying to rig the election. The Dems, are of course, virtuous and pure of heart.

Which is why Bloomberg donated $350,000,000 so far just to this year’s election according to NPR. https://www.npr.org/2020/07/29/896545732/bloomberg-vowed-to-spend-whatever-it-takes-to-beat-trump-dems-are-still-waiting
I remember the definition of an honest politician is one who stays bought. Looks to me like Bloomberg is doing the buying.

Or the Dem guy who is running unopposed in Kansas for the Lege there… admitted to blackmail and revenge porn five years ago.

Fyrfighter

I guess it bothers him that Soros has bought more politicians, and he wants to regain the title of most corrupt POS in American politics

Mason

Imagine being so rich that you can blow $350 Million(!) on a single election cycle.

Then imagine that you are blowing said money on the party that wants to “eat the rich” (as so many of their activists protest).

With ranked choice voting in Maine, the winners are already known
before the ballots are even printed. It will be weeks before the
final, final and last votes are counted. Then there will be lawsuits.

Fyrfighter

Yep, democrats will support any scheme to prevent a fair vote. They know that people are waking up to their bullshit, so they need to gain complete power before the number of people that realize what they’re up to reaches a number they can’t overcome, even with cheating.

Mason

I’m surprised that wasn’t repealed since it caused so much outrage in ’18.

Fyrfighter

Dims don’t care about outrage, as long as it’s not their supporters that are outraged. They are not patriots, and don’t give a shit about America. They are domestic enemies, NEVER forget that!

26Limabeans

It did not make it on the referendum to have the repeal on the ballot.
Not enough signatures collected. I’m a callin BS on that.
It is no longer one person, one vote in Maine.

The leftists know that if they flood the ballot with half a dozen
candidates it will be mathamatically impossible for the other
side to gain the required 50% to win in the first round thus triggering
the second round of voting where a leftist will win. If not, we go
into the third round etc.
The only defense is to run more candidates than the opposing side.
The party with the most candidates will win every time.

Recently I posted something sent by a trusted friend which made me feel like a dumb__s for not first verifying the validity of the post. Made me realize Wikipedia is not some dude with a brother named Encyclo. Learned well. To that, I find this impossible to verify, but if true, best we pay attention. Really would make me feel a lot better if someone else can explain the verification process. Otherwise this story is BAD news.

Still would like to hear if I am believing in Santa Clause again, obviously from someone smarter than me. Now we have a talking parrot who knows most of the profanity I brought home when I was ending my four year enlistment in the green machine…so don’t suggest Lars for answers.

As for freezers and canning, that’s a big time movement down here in L. A., specially for the canning. A whole cow (Angus) which has been grain fed for its last 90 days (no grass included) then slaughtered and hung to age for at least two weeks, then shrink wrapped with butcher paper at a meat processor’s small packing house first around it to stave off ice crystals, it taste just as good three years down the line.

The beef, you ask them to do a 70%/30% mix and that will still make your tongue slap yor fore head when eating as much as three years down the road. Buy a deep or upright freezer and have a whole cow slaughtered and wrapped. You’ll have meat to last three years, and it won’t have any grass taste to it,

Not to forget, later if not SOONER meat will be a lot higher per pond than what you pay for today.
