A Special Request to the Community from One of Our Research Ninjas
One of our research ninjas, heavily involved with stolen valor related research, stepped forward with a special request. Despite the famine in stolen valor cases, due to the FOIA request backlog, our research ninjas push forward with stolen valor research. This ninja reports that there are plenty of generous members in the community who have provided donation support throughout the year. Our stolen valor research ninjas are extremely thankful for this continued support. The ninja that came forward, speaking on behalf of the rest of the research ninjas, seeks the annual donation booster. Bills are looming ahead.
On a side note, this ninja informed us that they have been filing FOIA requests and working cases. Due to the pandemic, things appear to be slower with NPRC. They are dealing with a backlog. This means that when the backlog is tackled, we can start seeing some stolen valor articles. Hopefully, in the “When it rains, it pours” manner… NPRC pending.

Just keep calm and carry on. ‘Demics do not last forever, no matter what Monty Python says.
I just donated… been a bad day for me. Had to say a final goodbye to my 19 year old Tabby that passed away while I was taking him to the vet.
Please accept my condolences and sympathies for the loss of your nineteen year old furry one. Know of the pain you’re going through – only had my lil Russian Blue girl for fifteen years but I miss her each and every day
Thanks…
Sympathies up for you and the Family in the loss of Tabby Senior. That chore ain’t never easy. After 19 years! He’ll be waiting for you on the other side. I’m willing to bet he had a damn good life and was not only spoiled rotten, but also pushy as hell. I know it’s hard, but the best way to pay Honors to his memory is to go adopt a rescue and give that one the same loving home.
Note to admin. Refresh me with an e mail and a pay to the order of & snail mail address and I’ll cut another bank draft and send it off. Thanks!
He was special… loved to eat MRE Cheese, fried chicken and “welfare burgers”. He was with me longer than my ex was (Eric actually hated my ex… she took him in to be spayed at 10 weeks, and hated her for it until she left!).
Thanks for the kinds words… really means alot right now
Sorry to hear that. I had “that dog” too. Cried like a baby as I buried him.
I was lucky to have that damn dog.
Best Regards
Thanks, Dave… Semper FI!
My sympathies, Senior Chief. Our old Pooter kitty of seventeen years went to her final nap in my lap at five in the morning after an all night death vigil. That was in February and after a month of mourning, we went to the shelter and brought home a young male Siamese named Bogie.
Bogie should be named Bandit because he’s the sneakiest little thief we’ve ever had. Toothbrushes, razors, combs, brushes, pens, pencils…you name it… constantly disappear, some never to be found. Unfortunately, his favorite is paper…as in toilet paper and paper towels (he has dragged whole rolls from one end of the house to the other and hidden them)…and we brought this thieving little turkey home just as the shortage began.
We have to wedge hairbrush handles into the tubes of toilet paper on the dispensers to prevent his unrolling the whole thing. His favorite toys are the empty tubes–there must be fifteen of them laying around this house right now.
So go to the shelter and find another Tabby…not a replacement…we still miss our old Pooter…but a source of new joy in your life.
Trust me…it helps…
Thanks for the words, Poe…
Sorry Chief. There are friends and then there is our dog.
Sorry about the loss of your cat. Never easy losing a pet.
Sorry for your loss, Pets are family too!
Condolences on your loss Senior, having lost a few family members like that, I know it’s not easy, but it does get better.
My Condolences. 😔
The wishful thinking portion of me was hoping that the lack of stolen valor cases was because of people stopping being douche canoes, but I know better.
Kinda waiting for the 26th. A good day to donate.
Give, the United ‘Weeds Way.
HMCS(FMF) ret, just tossed some jingle into the TAH Donation Basket in memory of your furry buddy (Eric?).
Sorry for your loss.
Skyjumper
Thanks, Sky…
I just donated to the cause.
The residents of Callahan County, Texas, should make a significant donation.
Ditto with those of Elko NV!
A Proud Infidel & Mustang Major,
I have a hunch….
… that this page will turn up as a new post
in Callahan County and Elko County
Fakebook groups.. and public pages.
I’ll let a Facebook friend know.
$40 donation sent.
🙂
I sent you guys an email.
Hit me back.
What a coincidence! It’s like Deja Vu. Really.
Just as I commented above about Facebook groups in Callahan County (and Elko),
NEW comments like this are cropping up now on public pages, plus posts in the (private) Rants and Raves Groups.
Clyde Police Department has 1.
So does this Callahan County page,
coincidentally,
a comment on a post about a Sheriff’s office job announcement.

Hey, look at this…
A new comment on a 1 hour old post at the
Elko Daily Free Press.
(paste)
A special request…. Due to the 2020 virus,
and US Gov’t delays in processing new military records requests…..
The website that brought Elko the TRUTH
about the actual military service of
Stolen Valor POW*MIA commander Les Brown….
is now requesting DONATIONS.
Certainly, the service they provided the county last year is worthy of consideration.
Thank you, from a website fan. — (Link to this page.)

Except for Stolen Valor Fakebook types…..
It’s nice to have friends on Facebook.
🙂

Shake that thang MD61!!!!! (The donation cup, not that other “thang”…just to be clear on which thang we’re referring to)
Thanks for the continued fakebook assaults on these SOBs. I no longer have the ability to lurk on the Book of Fake, so the posting of direct links let me see you work.
5th/77th FA,
Thanks.
I try to share from Fakebook public pages and groups whenever I can.
FakeBook private groups would require a screenshot,
and I (still) do not know how to get a photo or graphic file uploaded here for blog view.

Is the mailing address still the same as last year? Be happy to send along another 50 bucks.
