Homeowner fires at intruders during home invasion in Inland Empire

by: Travis Schlepp
Authorities in San Bernardino County say a homeowner fired at a suspect who broke into his home Wednesday night in Chino Hills.

It happened around 8:25 p.m., at a home on the 2800 block of Venezia Terrace Drive, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Responding deputies learned that two people had broken into the home by shattering a glass door on the second-floor balcony.

Few details have been released about the break-in itself, but Sheriff’s Department officials said the armed homeowner fired at one of the suspects. Officials did not say if the intruder was hit.

When deputies arrived, there was concern that the second suspect was still inside the home, which led to additional resources from the Chino Police Department and the Sheriff’s Department SWAT team entering the home and clearing it room by room.

Ultimately, no suspects were located inside the home and the search expanded to the surrounding area.

The search was eventually called off without any arrests being made.

The two in the wind have time to reflect on their poor life decisions and can take this opportunity to make a change for the better.

Third Homicide Investigation in Seven Hours

Albuquerque – Around 1:35 AM, on April 3, officers with the Southwest Area Command responded to reports of a shooting in the 17000 block of Antler Tool Rd SW. Responding officers located an individual at the entryway of the home. The male sustained at least one gunshot wound to his body.

Bernalillo County Fire Rescue emergency medical personnel responded, but they pronounced the male dead shortly after their arrival.

Preliminary reports indicate that an adult male was reportedly trying to force his way into the home and the homeowner fired his handgun through the door, striking and killing the man.

Detectives are investigating this shooting as a possible justifiable homicide.

Not a fan of blind shooting- “Know Your Target, and What Lies Beyond” someone once said. Then again, I wasn’t there and the threat was certainly stopped.

Shots fired inside Tulsa Walmart; security guard confronts suspect
Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting at the Walmart near 81st and Lewis after a suspect fired shots inside the store late Tuesday night.

TULSA, Okla. –
Tulsa Police are investigating after shots were fired inside a Walmart in south Tulsa late Tuesday night, leading to a confrontation involving an off-duty sheriff’s deputy working as a security guard.

Officers responded around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday to the Walmart located along East 81st Street near South Lewis Avenue after multiple 911 callers reported a shooting inside the store. Witnesses told police the suspect fired several shots before fleeing.

Police said the off-duty deputy, employed through a private security company called Allied, confronted the shooter near the registers after hearing gunshots and fired at the suspect. The suspects initially attempted to exit through the locked front doors and then ran toward the back, exiting through a rear emergency exit.

Shortly after the incident, police received a call from a local hospital reporting that a man had been dropped off with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was identified as Ryon Williams, one of the suspects shot by the deputy. After treatment, Williams was taken to the Detective Division for questioning.

Officers also located and detained a second suspect, identified as Justice Rogers, who was found hiding under a bridge just north of the Walmart with the assistance of the Tulsa Police Helicopter and a K9 Officer.

Investigators learned that the shooting began when Williams and Rogers confronted a man inside a bathroom stall, grabbing his bag from underneath. When the victim exited the stall, one suspect fired shots at him, prompting the active shooter calls.

I suspect that these suspects will change their evil ways…or not. We know for sure that at least one (1) realized he was wrong…dead wrong.

We made ten (10) laws for Kongress Kritters. How many have they made for We, The People?

Notice that it was a Gun Bunny that invented The Krag? Jus’ sayin’. Nice series of TR’s “Big Sticks” this week, Big Dog. Ya done good.

Be out and about for a good bit. If the seagull shows back up, do me a favor and tell him to phuque off. See y’all later.

One of my Bro-in-law’s once had a 30-40 Krag. Nice rifle.

The guy on the porch may have been on the homeowner’s porch camera. In which case homeowner may not have been shooting blindly though the door, but known just where his target was.

Sounds like things are popping all around.
