CNN Dominates Ratings
For the first time since late 2001, CNN dominated the ratings from the 25 to 54 age group. This is based on Nielsen ratings for May 29 through June 3.
With the exit of some of their respected journalists and their replacement with more left-leaning hosts, this does not come as a surprise. When other respected members of the old Fox News exit the network, more news like this may become common.

As protests in the wake of the killing of George Floyd continued through the week, CNN hit a major ratings milestone: On Wednesday, the network notched its sixth day in a row in the top spot among the cable news channels for total day and primetime viewers in the advertiser-coveted age demographic of 25 to 54.
This is the first time CNN has topped those viewership groups in 19 years.
According to Nielsen ratings, from Friday, May 29 to Wednesday, June 3, CNN beat Fox News and MSNBC in the demo in total day ratings, measuring from 6 a.m. ET to 6 a.m. ET. Due to data availability, Wednesday’s numbers were measured from 6 a.m. ET to 3 a.m. ET.

So, a good many 25 to 49 year olds prefer to hear uninformed opinions rather than actual news reporting? Wow, just Wow. Stupidity is indeed on the rise.

When you want to see what your violent DNC brownshirt insurrectionists are up to, you go right to their public relations arm, namely CNN. Not unexpected to see the channel that encourages rioters to see a boost in ratings around the riots.
Worst Journalist of the Year, Don Lemon (Worst Journalist of the Year)’s ear-licking running cover for these riots has been legend in the worst-est of ways.

Fredo Cuomo, who has repeatedly been caught lying just in the last few months, earns the Worst Lawyer of the Year.
His broadcast included this gem the other night, “please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful.”
How anyone can get into law school, let alone graduate one and pass the bar, without knowing the clauses of the First Amendment is beyond me. “The right of the people peaceably to assemble.”
Apparently he forgets that the freedom of assembly has a massive caveat right in the amendment, it must be peaceable!
Is this so much a win for CNN or a testament to the lackluster offerings at the other networks?
Most of their competition these days seems like lukewarm pablum, hard to look at and even harder to choke down…
I’ve been avoiding all media for the most part during the entire isolation period, being essential I’ve still been working and doing my thing but mostly avoiding mainstream news sites and sticking to simple aggregators like Reuters or AP and perusing the headlines for points of interest.
Been reading a lot of the Sermo site for physicians regarding their polling on COVID treatments and the effectiveness of their experiences.
In reading the article at The Wrap it appears that added together these news sources aren’t capturing the public like they used to at all…the numbers added together quickly in my head the three networks quoted MSNBC, FOX, CNN had a total of just over 5 million viewers on Sunday…not even five percent of the population…
Barely 1.5% and ol’ Poe’s not one of them…

Yeah, CNN took the key demo ratings. Certainly a big deal because of advertising dollars. Fox News as usual had the most total viewers by a healthy margin. Unlike Fox News, CNN can’t consistently replicate that success. They depend on special events like natural disasters, social unrest, presidential election season, etc..to draw eyeballs. The other 95% of the time are ho-hum slow news days where CNN rides the caboose.
I guess the airports are opening.
