Waverly Reynar; a phony Vietnam veteran, phony Marine in Canada
Someone sent a link to this fellow, Waverly “Wave” Reynar who claimed to the Canadian Leduc Rep that he was a Marine and Vietnam veteran. It was the story of his enlistment that caught my attention;
Reynar didn’t set out to be a Marine, but a single phone call and a spur-of-the-moment decision made one night in a bar in Butte, Montana in 1962 changed the course of his life forever.
He and a friend had left their hometown of Leduc months earlier with a few hundred dollars between them and a one-way bus ticket to Montana.
“We thought we were going to be cowboys, but that didn’t work out too good,” Reynar recalled. “There was a big coal strike going on at that time so the jobs weren’t very plentiful.”
Reynar and his friend got jobs grilling burgers and washing dishes for 80 cents an hour at the bus depot to try to earn enough money to get home for Christmas.
“We were just kids,” Reynar said. “We were staying in a flophouse. We just couldn’t get enough money and we didn’t know how we were going to get home.”
Then one night the pair coaxed the bartender at a local dive to let them have a couple of beers, even though, at 17 and 18 respectively, they were considerably underage. Sitting by the back door in case they needed to make a hasty escape, they noticed that the bartender was on the phone.
A few minutes later, two uniformed men entered the bar and approached Reynar and his friend. They identified themselves as Marine Corps recruiters and promised to send the boys home for Christmas, no matter what.
“They gave us our green cards right away,” Reynar said. “I went into the Marine Corps in January.”
Reynar turned 18 in boot camp in San Diego.
On Aug. 14, 1965, at the age of 21, he landed on the shores of Chu Lai, Vietnam.
Yep, everyone knows that Marine Recruiters are trolling bars for Canadian teenagers that they can Shanghai into the Marine Corps, because they make the best Marines. And also, the recruiters walk around with Green Cards in their pockets for just such an encounter. By the way, Wave’s birth date was was in May 1943, that makes him 19 in 1962, not 17. That math gets ’em every time.
Reynar doesn’t like to talk about the war – partly because of the horrific memories it brings to the surface, and partly out of a habit picked up during his leave from the service as a way of deflecting negative attention.
ADDED; Wave wearing a Silver Star that doesn’t appear in the other pictures;
He claims that this is him supposedly proof that he was in Vietnam (but who can tell?) Are those pine trees behind him?
We went back for another whack at his records, and find out that he was Marine, but not to the extent that he claims. No valor awards, no war wounds. He spent 11 years in the Navy as a cook;
The Marines say he served 4 years and was discharged as a corporal, that’s almost the same as 20+ years he claimed and being a Gunny, after all whats 16 extra years of service and 3 pay grades between friends?
If you’re going to have a ridiculous story about your accidental enlistment, at least have the minimum amount of documentation to back it up. Of course, I messaged Mr. Reynar on Facebook to get his explanation and thus far, I’ve been treated to the full-throat sounds of crickets.
Category: Phony soldiers
I also wrote to his friend the Mayor of Leduc to ask him to stop him if he cares. We will see if this campaign of letters and posts stops this egregious phony.
I contacted the two biker clubs he was friended to. Referred them to here. He wanted to be famous, well here it is.
You guys need to lighten up on Rhonda. Waverly is the real deal and she knows it. How, you might ask?
The above snippets were taken from the TAH Facebook page beneath the article about Waverly Reynar. Great work Rhonda!!! I stand in awe of your investigative skilz! Please accept this cookie.
It’s now been 48 hours plus since this thread went up and Wavey-boi’s Facebook page is still up and running.
He is still accepting Friends requests (most notably recent is the Mayor of Leduc) and continues to be a no-show here on TAH, electing instead to have ladies come to his defense.
I wonder, now that the Mayor is his friend, if “Political Pressure” will be brought to bear on TAH?
Bottom line is: Wavey-boi, where’s that DD214?
Waverly Reynar has already mudsucked Rhonda by conning her into mudslinging for him, I wonder who he’ll drag down next?
Dear proud infidel, what can a proud former grunt do to help expose this worthless p o s to the world?
IMHO this turd has been flushed, the USMC Vets here on TAH have been going full throttle on making sure he gets thoroughly flushed into the cesspool of infamy, shame, and disgrace he so richly deserves to be in. Tank and Dave can give you much better advice than me on how to help flush him if you want to pitch in!
As soon as he is flushed down the pipes he will resurface in stall #4 in Merritt Island, Florida at the company we all know and love, All-Points Logistics!
He may already have surfaced there, GT. Check out the location of Madison, AL – and remember where APL has/had offices.
It’s not just you who has done it, but I object to defenders of valor thieves being referred to as “ladies.” Defenders of liars simply cannot be ladies.
Help us out here, OWB. From your perspective, can you suggest an appropriately pejorative term for such females that is somewhere short of the “C” or “T” words? Those seem a little . . . extreme for most cases like this.
May I suggest “Slattern”.
Looks like it would work to me, DH. But let’s see if the ladies agree – I was really looking for the female “take” on the matter.
I have a feminine side.
Here are a few for youse guys:
trollop
rump-fed runion
slut
wench
flax-wench
strumpet
wagtail
harpy
nut-hook
Will that do?
Those work for me too, Ex-PH2. Thanks.
I kinda like ditch pig or bint.
How ’bout “Swamp hog”?
I have personally written the Mayor, as a concerned daughter of a Marine, to please do the right thing. And, of course , sent him here to read all about ol’ Wave .
KUDOS TO YOU Kat, an excellent choice of action, I can’t wait to hear the results!
Just found Wave’s address. Gotta love his Facebook pics of home and the lake, descriptions, and google maps with street view! The taint even has Marine stickers all over his blue f-150!
I sent him a friend request. Maybe he just might…Especially now that I found his house and confirmed it on google street view. No answer yet. Maybe he is weighing the cost/benefit angle still.
Unfortunately, no 411 phone number for his name and address. Which means unlisted or cell phone.
You might want to check some of the older 3rd Mar Div Assn’s 990s from when he was an officer in same, TankBoy. (smile)
Have a link Hondo? Would love to wish him happy mother’s day
Found it. Called. Number no longer in service. Board of Directors. I bet they are pissed off and embarrassed!
Damn. Was hoping he still had one or both of those numbers.
Oh well.
On the bright side, don’t think Wave will be swinging in for the reunion in Orlando later this year.
As we’ve seen many times before (James Ferris immediately comes to mind, the disgraced past president of the Korean War Veterans Association), after years and years on lying without challenge, the recollections of many people regarding theses sac o’ shits is the lie itself. (e.g., I’ve known him for 30 years and…blab, blah, blah…or…“He’s been marching in our town parade for 40 years…blab, blah, blah…or “He’s a good man, been a member in good standing of the VFW for 35 years, blah, blah, blah.) In other words the ONLY reality some people know of these posers is THE LIE. So, naturally, they think the lying liar is legit and attack those who doubt him. It’s a process, of course, and a very harsh one, for those who were spoon-fed the bullshit to learn and ultimately acknowledge they were duped. But, ultimately, the truth wins out, hurting those who trusted the lying POS and went to bat for him.
Of all the douche baggery on this fuck stain the two things that piss me of the most about his pictures are wearing a kilt and wearing medals with the accompanying ribbon at the same time.
Can’t any of these guys bother to Google some uniform regs? Put some effort into it and make it a challenge now and again.
I feel sorry for his acolytes though, they probably felt patriotism and felt they were supporting wounded warriors and then to be told it was all a lie is just inconceivable. That’s what really burns about people like this, we see how ridiculous his claims are but to those who haven’t served they can’t comprehend it.
To have your life based on a lie and on the blood of others; Waverly you are one of the lowest human beings and I turn my back on you in utter contempt.
This dude looks all kinds of gay.
He looks gayer than Boy George and Elton Jon getting it on in pink patent leather chaps and high heels.
Now he says he ‘landed’ at ChuLai in August, 1965. So that means he MUST have been part of Starlite, right? I’m sure we could find some guys who were BTDT and would remember if he had been there with them.
But the most important question I have is: did he get a naked haircut while he was there?
“Landed” is what birdshit does too, as in “some birdshit landed on my car.”
That is probably more fitting of his exploits.
(My apologies to any fine feathered fowl that may be offended by this post)
I bet this dude participated the highly secretive mission: Operation Two-Hole.
He was in charge of a manhole inspection tactical team (MITT) charged with going in and penetrating deep in unknown territory.
That is about the extent of the assclown’s bullshit.
The amphibious landing and operational dates are correct. My oldest brother was 3/9/3 Mike Co 1st PLT and wrote mom that they were about to deploy and she wouldn’t be hearing from him for a while.
This turd has amassed an impressive number of hits here!
He’s right up there with The Dutch Rudder Gang, ain’t he?
Nope not even close,
The last time I counted they totaled of 13,000 comments
Yeah, but that’s their totals, and they each have multiple threads dedicated to them. Bernasty got what, about five or six hundred in his first 48 hours, didn’t he?
Well, since I haven’t seen this here yet – hey, guys: take a look at this:
http://www.leducrep.com/2009/01/29/were-going-to-live-with-this-for-a-generation
What a crock of shit.
Word.
I say again….fucking fuck this total douche canoe!
He is the epitome of a coward bullshitter with absolutely zero testicular fortitude.
This pile of shit claims to have escorted fallen Marines home too? That is the ultimate insult and he needs to go down – HARD!
He’s definitely about thirty gallons of shit stuffed into a ten gallon hat!
Four words to comfirm LEGIT:
1. Multi
2. Colored
3. Tennis
4. Balls
I am convinced!
You win the Internet today Master Chief.
I about pissed myself when I read about his wife’s tennis ball cure for flashbacks.
Again…fuck this guy
“He recalled how his wife, Ann, kept two tubes of multicoloured tennis balls to throw at him to wake him from a flashback…”
I couldn’t make shit like that up if I tried, he’s full of 24K weapons grade STOOPID, what will we see next?
Dude needs a scrotum punch whenever he gets one of his “flashbacks” watching Bugs Bunny.
At least we now know who has the fuzzy balls in Wave’s family – and it ain’t him!
Is at all Bugs Bunny cartoons, or just particular ones? How is he with Scooby Doo? Does watching The Flintstones make him go all Manchurian Candidate?
If Bugs Bunny makes him go nuts, I bet a Ren & Stimpy cartoon would really make him go apeshit!
My bet is on Beevis and Butthead cartoons.
He especially loves it when Cornholio makes an appearance.
Hack – it’s the ones when Bugs is in drag… probably brings back bad memories of the Blue Oyster Bar
What?
You’re not including ‘Courage the Cowardly Dog’? How could you leave that out, with all the TRAUMA poor ol’ Courage goes through?
Waverly “Tennis Balls” Reynar.
First thing we learned with my brother after he returned from first tour S/S, was not to move fast OR approach him quietly while he slept. Throwing (things) tennisballs at him? Heh. That’d been an ass whipping I’d never forgotten about. I may have been a kid when he went to Nam but I have never forgotten the 90 day leaves except when he was wounded (25SEP67) and sent to BNH.
Correcting myself, Mike Co moved south out of Chu Lai…My bed. Our family and a couple others in town lived this stuff 24/7 between what wa on TV and occassional letter home when big bro could write to say they were okay, nothing more. I have some of his letters home… Starlite Revisited
Fuck. This. Guy. This guy is the lowest piece of shit fuckwad scum of the earth. He has no soul.
Gotta tell you HONDO, this asshole is making me angrier by the minute!
Wave the Rave is nothing but a fucking, posing, cock sucking, coward! Escorting fallen Marines home my ass!
Thanks for the info, SV Canada has replied, they are on the case, MTF.
Will send sit reps as info is rx’d.
Valhalax out
COOL, can’t wait to hear back from you, Val!!
Val, get my email address from Hondo if you need any help
Excellent news…
Fat Boy packs bags in 10…9…8…7
And heads south to All-Points Logistics in 6…5…4….
Right after consulting some “lawer” in the PNW…
You think Commander Phil Monkress would take this guy? He’s kind of an old dumpy tub of shit with no discernible skills other than bullshitting. What does Wave Gaynar bring to All Points Logistics and Commander Phil Monkress house of lies.
I think that is the job description for the the All Points Logistics Rezton office.
Reston. I blame the IPhone. Hack Stone Publishing regrets the error.
I do not know.
Word has it that they are a now a “taint free” environment.
But I could not tell you.
They insult you, threaten you with arrest and state that they “do not know Commander Phil Monkress, the CEO of All-Points Logistics”.
Then they hang up on you.
He brings fuzzy, multicolored balls for Phildo to play with.
I think it’s a confirmed fact that PHILDO LOVES BALLS!!
He’s a big fan of collies. That must be marketable somehow? Craig List? Truck stops?
He must be into Collie Dog Shows.
If you look at his Facebook Friends’ Profile pictures, many, many of the females have a Collie as their picture.
So maybe he is attracted to some “real dogs”, and I’m not talking about canine type dogs.
Claw……I think you hit the nail on the head in regard to the collie shows! That would explain the ridiculous kilt outfit he’s wearing with all his phony bullshit awards!
Prob does dogs behind the curtain during the shows! It gives doggy style a whole different meaning!
Yeah.
But he just got the lead role in his local community playhouse.
The play?
“Dr. Strange Dildo”.
Phildo’s favorite (and Cody Stermers).
Anyone else notice the supposed Marine POS is wearing Navy silver Dolphins? And no, I’ve never heard of a Marine qualifying in submarines.
It might have been from when he was a Sooperdooperseekritskwirrelwonderrangerscoutsniper working for C.O.N.T.R.O.L. under his seekrit code name “Gay Six-Niner”!
I saw one, a major who was an enlisted bubblehead before he went to college. Ended up in NROTC and commissioned USMC. It was a shock to see the fish on his uniform.
Then he was out of uniform. Not one of the sister service badges authorized for wear on the Marine uniform.
That was some brass balls, then, because I saw him in the Pentagon.
Or ignorance.
Doesn’t USMC EOD use the same badge as the Army?
Sorry I’m late to this party. All four services wear the same EOD badge. However, Navy zeroes that are Master EOD Technicians, wear a gold EOD badge.
I’ve seen a couple of occasions where former Navy wore their Dolphins on their Army dress uniforms, and I was informed I could wear Dolphins on an Air Guard uniform when I was looking into that possibility, but this POS never even CLAIMED to have served in the Navy. What, I wonder, did he think the insignia stood for on a Marine uniform?
The BN XO in the 82nd wore dolphins…this was in ’63.
My Regimental XO wore “dolphins” in Iraq ’04-’05 with the 278th RCT Tennessee National Guard. He retired after we got back in ’05. AR 670-1 or not, he damn sure wore them. And no one said otherwise.
So I have been playing fuck fuck with his two main hoggs on his page, he has a few real Marines fooled, unbelievable that a real Marine would ever fall for all the bullshit, they must have scored ultra low on the asvb. I have a real good buddie who was injured by a IED in the Ghan who lives in Edmonton AB, he is going to speak with SV Canada on Monday. Old Wav in staying real low right now fucking scum bag cunt giblet.
SV Canada is already on board. I offered my services. Funny, the town he is from is a suburb town of Edmonton. Lucky!
What we needd is the FBI Legat (legal attache) at the embassy or consolate to draft a probable cause warrant! Of course he can do it either way (USPERS or not). But they won’t.
Thanks TankBoy, Old wav is cleared hot for a damn fine ass fucking.
Get it. I gave him my opinion on those that perpetrate the purple heart. Nothing sadder and lonelier than a pair of boots sticking out a poncho on the ground next to the BAS. This motherfucker stole that.
Been out since Friday afternoon. I see that a fangirl from AL has spoken up for the Hoser Poser; good luck to you, Rhonda, you’ve been taken to the proverbial truth-cleaner, the crashing back to reality is REALLY gonna hurt. As for the Hoser Poser, your Canadian Bacon is cooked and both the good vets of the USA and Canada are going to make you squirm; it sucks to be you, it really does…
[…] Waverly Reynar; a phony Vietnam veteran, phony Marine in Canada http://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=59684 […]
It does appear Flava Fav Wave has several lewgit Marines as Facebook friends. One of them has a photo of Waverly’s Boot camp photo. It appears he actually might have served and is embellishing. I messaged one him and sent a friend request,
I have had momentary pangs, then remember the letter from HQMC, the uniform No Marine EVER wore, the Brokeback Mountain recruiting tale, all the black ops missions, the escorting bodies home after retirement, etc. He never got caught because he was smart enough to keep the full tableau of lies separated. Now they are all together, it is obvious.
Oh, I’m not saying he isnt as full of shit as a Christmas Turkey. I’m saying that FOIA arent 100%. I can tell you of four people on here that came back negative (3 USMC 1 Army) that really were in.
They were all embellishing fucktards. Fuckers like Flava Wave will try to discredit any outingby concentrating on the FOIA being incorrect. They will wave boot camp pics, other photos and even a glance at a DD214 just to “prove” to his supporters that he served.
Of course he will not address all of his horseshit claims, he will just stand on him serving period.
Wow, over 600 comments for ol’ Wavy Gravy here (yeah, I’m old enough to know who Wavy Gravy is/was). I haven’t read all the comments, but he must be really all ate up with the dumbass if we’re still talking about him.
Riding the wave and sitting on top of the world.
Big last day for TAH here. Rhonda shuts TAH down. Rhonda’s General cometh. Jonn and TSO get hauled off to jail in MD tomorrow per The Lawyer.
Don’t know what I’ll do with myself.
Wait!
I did not get the memo!
Where will I get my “Asian Dating” and “Russian Romance” advertisement banners from now that TAH is gone?
I object to this abhorant announcement!
Master Chief,
Simple solution. Go to Wave’s facebook page. One of his friends looks to be Russian, another is a lovely young lady from Florida with a facebook page that looks like it is built around her and lingerie.
Um Master Chief you know that banners are driven by what you search right?
WT actual F have you been doing if you are getting asian dating banners?
Mine are all about gun parts car parts and books
Ah … Was that my inside my head voice talking again?
Looks like someone needs to clean out the cache and cookies on their browser… just sayin’
I searched “What is the date of Chinese New Year?”.
BAMMO…. asian dating banner ads. True story, right?
Gee whiz, I just get cameras and cookware. I guess you know where my mind is now.
Since it looks like there is a chance that he served on the USS Blenny (SS-324). Did the diesel boats require that all crew members hold a security clearance? If he was Canadian, the security clearance would have been an issue unless he became an American citizen, and that would have generated an SSN for him.
You don’t need to be a citizen to get an SSN, just a lawful resident.
Thanks. There was a question on the FB site about not finding a 214 for him because he didn’t have an SSN.
A SSN is helpful in getting a FOIA “records hit”, but is not a must. Full name plus DOB plus POB plus branch of service plus approximate dates of service also works. Name plus the older “service/serial number” (which is NOT protected information) plus service also works if the individual began their service prior to that service’s adoption of the SSN as service number.
In regards to SS324
from http://www.webenet.net/~ftoon/memory/guestbook97-99.html
From Force Recon Gunnery Sergeant with a chest full of bling, to a stew burner bragging on his sticky buns. WTF over.
Compulsive liar and attention whore, perhaps?
The only Thompson listed in the crew roster was on the boat May 1953 to April 1954, NOT 1968.
Correction…. “sticky bums“.
Caper Haderous is in SWEADEN I guess.
Damn Wave… mix in a spell check every now and then. Almost thought there for a moment I was having a flashback (don’t throw tennis balls at me) some of Chevy Cheeseslayer’s drivel.
Sticky buns? Sounds like the dude is a glory holy warrior at the local truckstop…
BTW – anyone have any updated G2 on ol’ Cheeseslayer?
He said sticky BUMS…. Fruedian Slip?
you posted this as I was researching it and on the phone with a few people. I found it on friday.
His Correct First Name is Waverley not Waverly.
Middle Name is Charles.
I have every reason to believe he was a cook in the Navy.
I am still searching out info and will post when my suspicions are verified
I have never heard the term “dog robber” used in the Navy and most certainly not on submarines. I thought a dog robber was an aide to a general or something. This turd breath makes shit up.
It sounds like he’s drank a lot of T-bird and smoked his fair share of lawn cigars once they’ve dried out!
Exeter?
That must have been one seriously dicked up CO, considering Exeter is 10 miles inland with no navigable rivers near it.
This dudes writing makes SLRRP41(he still not cometh?) look like Bill Shakespeare.
Looks like he’s claiming to have served on the USS Trout (
SSNSS-566) also.http://www.usstroutss566.com/p-slist.html
Maybe a crew member of the USS Brown Trout… Wave’s been rockin’ the lie for some time.
And he’s illiterate, too! Whattaguy!! What an asshole!
Hondo, you nailed it.
“In the King of the Hill episode “The Unbearable Blindness of Laying,” Hank’s mother’s new boyfriend has a tattoo of a submarine with USS Trout II under it. He tells Hank’s son, Bobby, that he served during the Korean conflict, sailing around in the Pacific.”
USS Trout was diesel powered and therefore SS 566, no “SSN” right?
Yep…
Bingo – my bad. So used to writing “SSN” for any recent subs that I missed the fact that the USS Trout was properly designated “SS-566” and typed SSN anyway.
Ol’ flavawave is going to stick to his smarmy stuff ’till he’s planted, you know. It’s a shame he put all that energy into mittyism instead of into a more rewarding endeavor, like novels.
Ah, well, to quote Hamlet or somebody, ‘a man’s reach should exceed his grasp, or what’s a heaven for?’
So where’s rhondaa the loaned defender in all this?
Looks like Rhonda, as well as a lot of other decent people have been taken in by the guy.
Apparently he is very personable, funny and pitches in to do things for vets.
Of course he uses it to gain trust and confidence. He has been raising red flags for a while now with folks, its just hey have been hesitant to call out such a “good guy”.
The Lt General the lady is talking about is VERY real. However it appears that he has been alerted by others to Flava Wave’s BS and is going to be trying to unmask the bullshit.
I wondered at first if she was a sockpuppet, but now I’m convinced that Waverly Reynar mudsucked Rhonda when he conned her into standing up for him and slinging mud on his behalf when he never even uttered a peep here on TAH. Hey Wavy, we haven’t forgotten about you, THE TRUTH IS OUT!
I have a list with the names of 11 3-star guys (Mutter, – she’s retired), who I believe are all AD except Flynn.
Waldhauser
Bailey
Schmidle
Glueck
Davis
Mills
Berger
Regner
Laster
Flynn (Ret)
Stewart
I got these from legit news sources. I think there are 6 others. Is Rhonda’s 3-star is one of them?
My concern is also that flavawave is getting some kind of financial flow out of this. He’s so very bad at keeping his stories straight that I find it difficult to believe that anyone takes him seriously.
I don’t know. Ferris stuck to his guns and had many supporters for a while. After he lost them to the truth, he finally folded. Of course, he resigned under some pretense. He never did admit to being a valor thief. The medals he wore in honor of his brother and I guess he claimed to be a combat Veteran in honor of his brother too.
Reading these posts with much interest but have a couple of questions….
Has our hero provided …
1 …concrete evidence of his service?
2 …citations to accompany his decorations?
3 …DD214 listing all of his accomplishments?
4 …submarine qualification certificate?
5 …anything beyond which can be purchased on the interweb?
Clearly, as a government process, the FOIA process can be flawed. Has our hero cooperated to quell the outcry of the masses?
How sad though when your actually life accomplishments are not good enough.
My serious concern is if he has profited (monetarily or otherwise) by this ruse.
In re. 1 through 5. NO
He claims the fire at the records center ate his records.
His take on the records fire doesn’t coincided with his claimed service dates. IOW, he claims he was still in the Marines at the time the fire happened, so his records wouldn’t have been there, anyway.
That shows me right there that he’s a damned liar.
That and the Ukrainian magazine he has to back him up.
Somewhere I read his claims that he receives a retirement check very month from the Marine Corps or some bullshit. As a taxpayer, I hope that is not true. (I also hope Marine Corps recruiters were not handing out green cards on the spot like candy back in the ’60s)
The fire occurred in 1973. NPRC did say that some Marine and Navy records were there for various reasons. Officially no Marine or Navy records were lost in the fire. Unofficially the number is 2-3 dozen.
But like has already been stated, if he was actually in the Marines, Navy or whatever the claim-dejour is, during that timeframe, his records wouldn’t have been there yet.
Not quite. It is believed that up to three dozen sets of USN/USMC records MAY have been out of routine storage at the time of the fire for one reason or another. Some of those records MAY – I say again, MAY – have been being actively worked and on the desk of an employee with a duty station on NPRC’s original 6th floor – the area affected by the fire. Or none may have been.
The number of USN/USMC records actually affected is somewhere between zero and three dozen (inclusive), and is not known with certainty. The correct number may well be zero.
ZERO USN/USMC are known to have been lost in that fire. That is NPRC’s official position on USN/USMC records lost in the 1973 NPRC fire. In contrast, the 75-80% loss for USAF and US Army records for the date ranges specified are actual, known losses.
FormerPingJockey: to answer all your questions in one word, “No.”
Has anyone who actually served with this guy come forward to validate his story?
Not here. Allegedly that’s happened elsewhere, but I’ve not seen it personally.
TL:DR answer is no
I have been running down those leads. I have talked to one person that thinks he remembers the last name from back in the day. He could not put a face to it and could not remember a first name or rank.
Everything else has been well so and so know but when so and so is asked they got it from someone else who got it from Reynar himself.
Its a classic self validation that has had almost 20 years to take root. Every one thinks they know him but in truth they only know what he has said.
According to him he was sot it the face on March 27, 1968 and later he says February 28,1968 this is important because I am 90 percent sure he was in Groton Cn on those dates.
I also found this
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=84672411&PIpi=113168840
I am running down info on him but I am sure he is related to our guy and I think I stress think that he was a Marine.
Wave is good at self validation and throwing out false info that has a ring of truth to it
E4U – posted the same link earlier, there are a few people in the Leduc Cemetery with the same last name (extended family?) and a RCAF Sargent buried in Edmonton with the same last name. My guess was that the Cpl (who served in a Canadian Army unit during WWII) could be his father or an uncle.
Wave sure crapped all over the Reynar name with his antics… and people who served proudly may be directly or indirectly associated with him because of it.
He’s listed over at the USMC Together We Served website at a gunny (Wave Reynar). Anyone have access to TWS to check out the BS he has there?
Fixed.
If he was at TWS, his profile no longer exists or it has been altered to a different name. I can send the search result if anyone wants it.
I had a conversation with an administrator. It took five minutes, one look at the work done here, and he was out.
Oh. I get it now, Das Boot. I’m a tad slow sometimes…okay, usually…dammit, all of the time.
Great work on that one. Nice to see the admin at TWS did the right thing.
Where the hell have you been hiding, CWO5? Heading out to Quantico anytime soon? We can meet up with some of the regular TAH crew, and you can tell them how wonderful I am.
Hack, I’m in!! Let me see if I can get a TAD trip back to Q-town or Henderson Hall. For a few free beers, I’ll tell the crew how great you thought you were….
I would ask everyone on this site to check any other places he may be lurking. Any administrator just has to come here, and he’ll be done. Odds are, as long as he’s been rocking the lie, he’s elsewhere. Consider it a neighborly deed to help Waverly give up the lie.
Tank, I see you and Dave are on him like MCPO NYC is onto Daniel A. Bernath the non-Oregon Attorney/non-CPO.
I ran through the names at that site and found him not. He should be between Reynante and Reynard on the list. I also spelled his name Raynar to check on that and same result…nothing. Althought the site lists Last Name, First Name, I also checked under Wav and Waverly. Same result. Zip.
Hey, that was 700! Makes me prez of the 700 Club I guess.
I knew I had seen Wave the Rave before! Kelsey Grammar was his C.O. wave was the cook in “Down Periscope” smile
A mother loving Navy cook, BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, just fucking epic,I’m sooooooooooooo happy right now, you guys really work some magic, but how does a midget Canadian end up on a sub, do they just say fuck the security clearance cuz he makes some damn fine baked beans? This is funnier then, when Quagmire discovers internet porn, or when Butters punches his dad in the balls.Time to break out the Jameo, yeah freedom tits.
I just reported you so someone on staff here could name you comment winner for the day. I salute you, Sir.
Yeah, but he’d have to prove he was actually a cook. And I have my doubts about that.
EX……….you have my permission to send him my moms bean recipe if you like! After all, he most definitely has self esteem issues. He needs something he can do well to hang his hat on! He’s not worth a shit as a poser! The recipe is pretty simple, he might be able to handle it. Smile
AirCav, there are enough holes in his stories to sink an entire fleet. Frankly, he does not deserve your moms beans recipe.
Hey, the sun is coming out!
I doubt he could even warm an MRE without fuxxing it up!
JarHead Pat…….I’ve been sitting here laughing my ass off, reading your comment. You my man are too funny!
I don’t think they serve beans on a Submarine. Remember it’s the silent service! No farting. Smile
3/17 Air Cav Said: I don’t think they serve beans on a Submarine. Remember it’s the silent service! No farting.
Yeah, and if you believe that, I’ve got a nice bridge in Brooklyn to sell you… cheap!
Any word from the third MarDiv Association yet? I’m thinking Orlando may not be in Waverly’s future after all, just wanted to be sure!
I am in contact with them and helping to resolve some questions
Let me know if there’s anything I can do. It’s also more than a little irritating that he’s still a member, and I’m not! My fault, and humorous, but irritating.
I thought Rhonda’s General was to cometh today and she would have TAH shut down today?
SJ……wave the Rave pulled her off the case. He knows he’s busted. He’s going to change from being a war hero. His next gig is going to be the last surviving munchkin of the Lollypop kids, in the Wizzard of Oz! Smile
More like “The Wizard of Jizz” with the Dutch Rudder Gang!
Time for him to “Wave” goodbye.
I never got a reply, but I’m hoping my message (a long one) was enough to convince her that she had been a victim of an accomplished valor thief like many others.
Even though she came on here and ruffled feathers, she did so with good intentions. Just the wrong crowd to pull dumb shit with. She too was made a victim by a gutless piece of shit.
I concur.
Well, if RhondAA’s 3 star cometh today, I have a Retired 3 star (former Battalion Commander) on tap to call with.
If the high stakes poker game goes another hand, I have a couple of Retired 4 stars with which to raise the pot. One was the Battalion Commander of our sister Battalion at Fort Carson in the mid 80’s and is a former CSA. The other was my Brigade Commander at Carson and was the FORSCOM Commander before he retired.
So bring on the 3 star, I can call and raise at will.
I’ll see your 4 Star and raise you one cheese fed CAP Lt.CPL !!!
OK, GD, will do. Names can be provided upon request.
It just goes to show you, that if you are a squared away Supply NCO and run an S-4 shop that always has a good pot of coffee brewing, you will end up with friends in high places.
But the cheese fed CAP Lt.CPL gets nothing from me. Well, maybe a swift kick in the ass as I run him out of my shop.
I fold… like a wet moldy PhD. diploma.
I always made sure to get along with the supply NCO in the places I was at. I tried to be very helpful with the inventory process. It was a win/win.
This fellow (on your right) claims that he loaded poor Wave’s body in to the evac chopper on the day Wave was shot in the head. I think he might be lying, too, but it’s just a feeling.
I call bullshit. No Marine in the history of the Corps has worn a uniform as fucked up as Wave Reynar did. Therefore, this guy is full of shit too.
I could stand right beside someone I Med- Evac out of a zone and not recoganise them. We were lucky to get them covered in a ponco. No FMFDocs went out with body bags. Is this man name on 3/3 rolls ? Joe
How soon will we hear more about this “Buddy” of Wave’s and how credible he is? 😈
I wonder how many more people Waverly Reyner (GH!) will mudsuck into speaking for him?
I think you have stumbled across some weird-ass Canadian cult.
Maybe they had some of that bad beer from Elsinore Brewery, eh?
“It’s in the Canadian Criminal Code of Justice.”
After coming back stateside from my first Oki tour, my little brother was home on leave from Lejeune. I had a bootleg VHS that I purchased on Gate 2 Street, and we were watching it with Poppa Stone. I never heard him laugh so hard before or since as he did with the beer and dog bowl scene.
“… loaded poor Wave’s body in to the evac chopper on the day Wave was shot in the head”
Doesn’t Wave claim he took the headshot at Mutter’s Ridge? I can find no record of any battles being fought there in the Spring of ’68. I have found mention of some action in the Fall of ’68. The Battle of Mutter’s Ridge happened on 10AUG1969. I might be wrong… there might have been action at Mutter’s Ridge in the Spring of 1968 but I haven’t found it.
Give that man a cigar
SFC Lilyea…. you sneaky bastard.
My gawd. I just enlarged that photo. Wave’s eyewitness to history has enough hair to be the mayor of any city in Indiana. How you you withhold that crucial info from us?
When was that picture taken?
The man on the right looks way too young (at least to me) to have been in RVN in 68.
I call total bullshit the The Battle of Chu Lai was what almost 50 yrs ago. They are both posers.
Interesting comments over at Scotty’s site (cut/paste below). I bet I know the name of Rhonda’s 3 star friend. I am Marine Cpl Retired Brandon Johnson, this shit you have posted about Wave has to stop. When I was wounded and was lost, him and one of the organization’s he serves with gave me a helping hand by giving 20 wounded soldiers and Marines and their spouses a welcome home in Huntsville, Alabama. We have an organization here made up of members from every service. At the time we were headed up by LtGen Frank Libbouti (can’t remember the spelling on his last name.) He helped start Homeland Security in New York City and has his own Wikipedia page. We also have more officers than I can remember the names of, but the point is we all vouch for Wave. We have heard his stories and seen his pictures/paper work. Why isn’t that enough for you? You have to come on here and slander a good man’s name, one who does a lot for returning vets, and all you do is find people you think have stolen valor? How about helping vets instead of trying to tear them down? I’m surprised Wave and the rest of them give you time of day, and that you haven’t been succesfully sued yet. Why did the law suits fail? Because you were right or it didn’t amount to monetary damages? How many times have you been proven wrong? How many times have you been right? How much of that effort could have been used to keep one of us from committing suicide or from going off the deep end? Instead you spend your time bullying and old man who has nothing to prove to you. I know Wave is a Marine, I don’t know if you are one… Maybe I should create a page about you since your case is about as solid as MRE shit. Your Freedom of information act was most likely kicked back because you lack the most basic information about him let alone his social. Once you are proved… Read more »

“…since your case is about as solid as MRE shit.”
Yea, and many an MRE shit I’ve taken over the years felt like I was pushing a piece of concrete out of my ass. I wonder who we’ll see here next?
I was thinking the same thing. MRE shits were like shitting stones. Brandon mouth breather here is, much like someone eating a steady diet of MREs, full of shit. Get a clue, Brandon. We now return you to your regularly schedule jackassery.
I know Joe Bongiovanni, too. He wasn’t a Wave supporter the last time I talked to him.
“Before it costs you”
Fuck you assbag. Show me some proof or tell me how it will cost me.
Were we wrong, I would gladly go back and apologize for every single word to every person. I would also gladly spend the money to fly to Edmonton to beg forgiveness in person. One look at his blues, and the HQMC letter, I don’t see it happening. I just feel bad for the people with honor jumping up to defend him. Cpl Johnson is doing what young Marines do, fighting the good fight.
I’m sure that Brandon is the real deal, and Rhonda is a nice lady who got pulled in.
Flava Wave is the worst kind of poser, he actually does work for good organizations and builds a network of legit folks who “know him”.
Its one of those things where he depends on him telling stories will create “references” based on that alone.
People will ask a question and he can refer to someone that he has lied to to back him up.
At the end of this there is going to be a crapload of very disappointed people.
Waverly Raynar did a lot of work with Vets, that work should have been able to stand on its own, instead it was built on foundation of lies.
He worked with many real wounded warriors and I am sure the man who made these comments is one of them, he is as sure Reynar is what he claims to be was we are he is not. He confidence is based on a con that he believes to be true.
I hope that we can see that supporters are shaken and asking questions. Lets not respond to real wounded warriors with negative remarks they have earned better than that. my 2 cents
Very well said. Much better than I did above.
Word
I agree.
Remember this one guys? http://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=55678&cpage=1#comment-2037996
Sometimes they do see the light.
Yep. The process of learning the truth is painful for those who had no reason to question someone’s representations. The valid-by-association-and-longevity characteristic is tough to overcome. If all one has known of someone is something good, and their circle of associates is legitimate, that someone becomes genuine. For some, usually family of the charlatan, the truth seekers, the questioners, become the enemy. If Reynar were truly a stand-up guy, he would see the ugly position he has put others in and come clean about his service. He is probably a tad nervous and shocked about now, mumbling to himself and hoping this matter will disappear. It won’t.
Brandon, you must have scored a 12 on the asvb, for you to buy into all of wavs bullshit, but stupid is as stupid does, how do you know for a fact he was a Marine?
“Do yourself a favor and back off before it costs you.”
Molon Labe, you little bitch.
Working in Huntsville, Alabama.
I just knew All-Points Logistics was going to come up.
I imagine Wave was down there checking in with home base.
He very well could be one of Phildo’s mentors.
Interestingly enough, Madison, AL, is indeed just west of Huntsville.
“Helped start Homeland Security in New York City”.
Nope. It was first a WH office and then its own department in DC, March 2003.
But what do I know. I was a MCPO there when they opened the doors at the NOC.
I am just going to ask a few basic questions regarding his backstory of how he came about enlisting. My observations are based on 22 years in the Marine Corps, some of it as a recruiter. He claims that the age of 17, in 1962, he was in a bar in Montanna drinking a beer, presumably late in the evening, since they were not at work. Bartender makes a phone call, and magically, two Marines appear, and bing-bang-boom, he was on his way to MCRD San Diego. I don’t think that in 1962, Marine Recruiters carried cell phones, so obviously these two particular Marine Recruiters were sitting by the phone in the office late Saturday night, waiting for that inevitable phone call. Granted, when I was a Recruiter, the dick of a SNCOIC of my office had me calling kids all hours of the day, but I think my circumstance was the exception. Or, perhaps, the bartender called his trusty sidekick to illuminate the Devil Dog Signal, a giant spotlight with an Eagle Globe and Anchor symbol across a clouded Montanna sky, and they hopped into their trusty Recruiter Mobile and were on they were to make mission for the month. A few problems here, and hopefully some of the 1960’s era veterans can answer some questions that I have. If this story took place in the 1980’s, he would require a ton of waivers. First off, a non US citizen. I could recruit non-citizens in the 1980s, as long as they were legal resident aliens and had the proper paperwork. Was he a high school graduate? Did he have his diploma with him? If not a graduate, that’s another waiver. 17 years old? What about a Parental Consent from Mom and Dad allowing him to enlist? When I was doing the dirty work, the potential recruit had to pass a physical and mental test (ASVAB) BEFORE being sworn in. Did they have the ASVAB or a similar test in the early 1960s? They must have had something similar, when did he test? I have to bail out for a… Read more »
The key you issued is in the 1960’s, recruiters carried a wallet of green cards to tempt young drunken Canadian teens with. Different times.
Met them in a bar at night.
Gave them green cards right away.
Paid for the bus ticket home to Canada so they could be with their families for Christmas.
Then reported to boot camp in San Diego in Jan of 1962. [cough cough BULLSHIT]
No, really, the Corps was still rolling recruiting old school in the 60’s, roll the drunks onto the longboat, they wake up at MCRD, done deal.
My info gives him a DOB in early 1943, he would have been 18 or 19.
He claims a January 63 Enlistment Date.
My bad, meant Jan ’63 above, sorry to add to the confusion.
Jonn had May 1943, so that may be the month.
FOIA request regarding Navy service is in the mail. Hopefully the tech who gets it will find mo/yr sufficient for DOB.
I can answer some of this for Hack Stone Publishing.
Parental consent was required for anyone under the age of 18. (See Bernath bio for backup on this, as he tried to lie about his age.) Enlistment w/o parental consent required proof of age 21, which I provided.
Education: not everyone who enlisted had finished high school, so those who had not were offered GED classes to get that. In-rate (MOS/job-related) correspondence courses were available to everyone.
No pre-enlistment testing was done for me. The GCT/ARI/MECH tests were done at Bainbridge RTC(W), the same for men at San Diego, GLakes, Orlando, etc., to determine your qualification for “A” schools versus on-the-job training. (Review Birdbath’s bio: he went to OJT for Bosun’s Mate and wiggled out of it to get PH.)
There was one Canadian woman in my recruit company at Bainbridge. She was there on an exchange basis, meaning she had a US counterpart in Canada. At that time, Canada had a combined military, and there were 2 Canadian enlisted women on the staff at Bainbridge. I’m trying to remember whether or not she had to get USGOV permission to enlist as a Canadian and not become a US citizen.
That was 1967.
Re: proof of age requirement: I had to be 21 to enlist without my parents’ consent because women weren’t drafted. Men had to be a minimum age of 18, with proof, and most of them had received a draft notice by that time. Sorry if I wasn’t clear on that part.
I just wanted to add some info here that all of you may find useful in the future.
In regard to creating fiction and tall tales, there are some rules for suspension of disbelief.
1 – Keep your story consistent.
2 – Keep your timeline straight unless it involve time travel.
3 – If it involves time travel, as it does with Jack Boronski, be clear about that.
4 – Know your story settings well.
5 – Don’t mess with biology, e.g., bulrushes are not the same as elephant grass, so you must know something about elephant grass, and what kinds of trees make up the landscape.
6 – If you don’t know what a jungle patrol loaded for bear is like, gear up and go do one on a hot, humid day, to be more clear about it.
7 – Know your equipment completely, e.g., field weapons and K-rats v. C-rats.
8 – Above all else, know uniform regs for a particular era. For example, the Fusiliers and Dragoons had different uniforms. The Bengal Lancers didn’t dress like the Navy. And things have changed since the 1960s. 24th century Marine Corps uniforms will likely be very different.
Any questions, see the Librarian for assistance. That is all.
How about, if you are going to pretend to be Force Recon, read a book called “Inside Force Recon” and then “like” that book on your Facebook page. When it comes to the war, tell people you don’t like to talk about it… unless you are talking to a reporter, then talk all about it and cry a lot.
And ALWAYS, ALWAYS claim your injury caused memory loss. Memory loss is like having a freakin superpower.
I will apply all the above to my next “no shit” tale! Thanks!
And ALWAYS play the PTSD card for extra sympathy.
And finally, when you’re back from the war zone, jump on a submarine and offer to be the cook. That always puts a nice bow on things.
Delicious sticky bums is a bonus!
I too am a huge fan of the Steven Seagal Golan Globus movies from the eighties!
You guys are awesome!
Don’t forget the oblique reference to “Black Ops”!
Nothing oblique about taking out 7-8, and a Colonel with a hypodermic needle! That’s head on in your face ass battery right there!
When asked about someone that served with you, go with something common — the more common the better. Have no fear being obvious.
EX: Rick Brown, John Richards, Bill Smith, etc.
If they come back to you saying they searched through thousands of possibilities narrowed down by birth date, then pivot to say you may have gotten it wrong. Black vs. Brown, Richardson vs. Richards, etc.
Make ’em work for it. After all, you had to spend some time on your backstory so don’t just give it away.
“See the Librarian”,,,,,
1. Will she be wearing those library lady glasses on the tip of her nose?
2. Will she be the hot Nerdy type?
3, Will she be willing to “work it out with me” for those overdue library books?

@ EX-PH2:
You just reminded me of one of my favorite television shows, “TALES OF THE 77TH BENGAL LANCERS”, which I’d watch on the black and white television in our living room, on Sunday afternoons.
https://youtu.be/KHw32Khnl8E
Yeah, I copied this from the article linked earlier:
“When you see death and destruction of the magnitude I’d seen, it leaves a mark on you forever – to see people burnt in place holding only the muzzles of their guns because the wood has burnt away. It’s horrific,” Reynar said.
Yeah, uuhhhm, weapons with wooden stocks in Vietnam? how much wood is on an M16 or M60? Yeah, we used M14’s there, but not much if the history I read is correct.
“Ann would sometimes find Reynar wandering around outside, disoriented and lost…”
WHEN ISN’T Waverly Reynar as lost and confused as a dozen blindfolded lesbians in an open air fish market when he’s trying to remember what lie he’s told to who and makes up another bucket of sh!t?
Last paragraph: PI always has a way with words, doesn’t he? 🙂
If he breaded it and fried it, it could be a bucket of Kentucky Fried shit. 😉
And I enjoy throwing it at a poser or embellisher like one of The Three Stooges tossing a custard pie in someone’s face!
Some serious mental issues there.
He left out the part about not having enough socks and writing home to have some sent to him.
When you mention socks, it brings up flashbacks of Chevy’s friend Linda K and the touching memorial service he had for her. Please throw some multicolored tennis balls at me now.
Socks were an issue in Vietnam, especially in areas like Khe Sanh and Phu Bai.
I did, somewhere, come across a story about a unit of Marines receiving socks that were labeled ‘USArmy Rejects’, because the tops weren’t cut open, but that may have been just a story.
My best friend (now on perpetual duty at Arlington) spoke of M16’s not 14’s in ’65 with the 1/101 (ABN)(SEP). Oh, he was awarded the DSC. And, BTW, was proud that he never fired a shot in anger because he was a Co CO and his job was to direct not do. I can tell you that the 82nd was issued 16’s in ’64.
I read somewhere that the very first brigade of the Big Red One to arrive in Vietnam in mid-1965 came with their M-14s, but by the end of 1965 had been equipped with M-16s. The 1/101st, 173d Abn Bde, and 1st Cav Div all initially arrived in Vietnam carrying M-16s…
Combat Historian…..early 1971 I was with the 1st Cav. Standard weaponry was two M-60’s rifles were across the board, M-16’s except one member of each squad of the platoon would have a 203 M-16 which had the grenade launcher tube attached. Which had replaced the M-79 grenade launcher
Marines used M-14s in Vietnam from early 1965 to early 1967, when they were re-euipped with M16s. The Marines (and early M-14 equipped Army units as well) experienced moisture rot with M-14 wood stocks, and most all M-14s were issued or refitted with fiberglass stocks by the time the M-14s were taken out of line service and replaced by M-16s. I Think Joe Williams here was an early USMC Nam Vet; he may be able to offer aditional info and clarification on this matter…
Guy I work with left Nam in 1967, turned in his M14, never had another. We talked about just that this morning. He’s a Marine. When I showed him Wave’s picture, his only comment was Holy F##K!
Was that GySgt McGinty? Other than Sweeney, have you got any good leads on Delta Company misfits? I have links to Kidney Beans (radio breaker) and Doc Gilligan. If you remember that idiot ammo tech up there with us, he was in my SNCO Academy class in the mid 90’s. Coming up on thirty years next month that we hit Fuji.
Got a couple. email me
CH you correct the grunts did not recieve the M-16 till 67 and the Air Wing were issured the M-16. Even I returted to the States in Sept. of 68 we wingers still had the M-14. Joe
I think the part about being shot in the head, put into a body bag, and sitting up when it was unzipped was the most ridiculous thing he said.
Anyone who has been around a corpse knows that after rigor mortis dissipates, a corpse has lost enough heat to began to decay. If the environment is just right, decay will set in quickly, within a few hours. Corpse gases will bloat the body and cause it to swell, and at some point it will begin to leak fluids.
In addition to the loss fluids and gases, bacteria immediately begin the process of breaking down the solids in a corpse, including the intestines. This creates a considerable stench. It is nothing but rotting meat. It is nauseating.
If it is a large enough corpse, e.g., a large animal like a dog or a human, the stench will make you vomit.
The body bags in use in Vietnam were rubberized canvas. That is too keep the body fluids from leaking out all over everything. The rubberized material is impervious to oxygen and water, and anyone who was not already dead would have suffocated within a few hours.
There is no way he could possibly have survived being zipped into one of those impermeable corpse bags, flown to Dover or elsewhere stacked in with several hundred others, and sent to a Naval hospital for – wait for it! – an autopsy. PERIOD.
What he said is a blatant lie.
He should just back off this whole line of crap for good.
I was wrong earlier. YOU win the comment of the day. And stand notified, I will be stealing this and looking for a conversation to throw it out in. I will cite it back to you.
Errr…. Proud…. the M-14 had a wooden stock.
Proud……..I can’t speak for the Marines. I can speak for my personal experience in the Army from 1970-72 I never even saw a M-14 during my time. Which included 11 months 12 days in the Nam
@ 3/17 AIR CAV:
WOW!
I trained with the M-14 in Basic Combat Training at Fort Lewis, Washington in the Winter of 1968, qualifying as a “Marksman”, i.e., the “Bolo” badge, and because it was an M-14 rifle, we trained to bayonet fight.
After Basic Combat Training, I used an unloaded M-14 when standing guard duty during my Advanced Individual Training at the Southeastern Signal School in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
In Germany, my assigned personal weapon was the M-14 rifle, which was used on field exercises.
In Germany, I improved my aim and qualified as a “Sharpshooter”.
Arriving in the old Republic of Viet Nam in December of 1969, at my very first duty station in Saigon, the Phu Lam Signal Battalion, I was issued an M-14 rifle, and then told to hand it back, so I could be issued my M-16 rifle.
I don’t know why it’s done that way, but that is what the Army required, in order for everybody to have their M-14 rifle replaced by the M-16.
My aim must have improved some more, as after returning from Viet Nam, I finally qualified “Expert” with the M-16 rifle.
John Mallernee has provided the most accurate memory regarding which weaspons he was assigned to use, and where.
Those real details without embellishment, added to what the rest of you have said, sinks Flavawave’s claims like a stone.
He is rapidly falling behind the pack.
As I see it, ‘ol Wavy has sunk lower than the Marianna trench!
The serial number of the M16-A1 aevice rifle I was issued in boot camp at Parris Island in Aug 1980 was 4782798.
I forgot it ONCE. As a result I was PT’ed until my ass was sucking buttermilk.
Never Again.
Most people live and learn. Waverley just lives.
I think having to grow up with the name Waverley effed this guy up more than we with normal names can imagine.
So, what has happened to the 2 huge dependas, they were talking so much shit, and now, please explain to me, how he gets shot in da face with a round from I’m guessing a AK47, then poof a year later he is a cook aboard a sub? Am I reading the time line right? Would not old flapjacks have to go to Sub school of some kind? Never mind his A school to learn how to cook Navy chow, and why does he have 4 Purple Hearts? Let me guess he got snitched across his belly by a gook machine gunner while low crawling through the rice paddies while dragging 3 wounded buddies in a hot LZ all the while returning fire with his 60, award that salty fuck a Silver Star, oops he already has one, well outfuckingstanding. Ill just say it now, all of you people that believed his bullshit are stupid dumb cunts.
I’d go a bit easy on them. He’s been peddling this crap for years and has even fooled legit Marines.
Theres always been a “gentleman’s policy” at a lot of places this terd showed up. You assume that if a guy shows up to help vets he is legit.
His story about being a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant and being flown to Iraq to escort the fallen home bothers me.
Is anyone aware of such a program? I went through CRC at Benning, and I went through the deployment center at Camp Atterbury (can’t remember the acronym now). To my knowledge, anyone making the trip, even AD and Natl. Guard (not with their unit) had to go through one of the deployment centers, have all the medical and training up to date, have valid orders or letter of authorization, etc. If all was in order, it took one week minimum. Many of the manager level contractors stateside were retired high ranking Officers and NCOs, and they had to spend a week and get all their boxes checked just to make a brief trip over to show their face, and their week at CRC had to be reserved weeks in advance.
I have heard of stories of casualties being escorted home by someone in their unit. I can’t imagine a retired veteran in their 60’s being granted passage in/out of Iraq of Afghanistan for such duty. Maybe it happened, but if so, it would surprise me.
I’ve got a couple of deployments over there since retiring. You are mostly correct. My quickest turnaround at a CRC was three days. In 21 years in the Corps, and ten retired but still active in the community, no whisper a program close to this. This is called enhancing the story for one reason only. I think limp Bizket covered the reasoning nicely in a song. I will not link the song out of respect to Hondo’s sensibilities.
My sensibilities, TankBoy? Yeah, right. (smile)
Can’t say I’m particularly fond of their music. But what should you expect from a band with a name that sounds like slang for an “embarrassing male urological problem” that’s treated with little blue pills?
(Yes, I do know the Urban Dictionary/street slang definition of the term. [smile])
GDContractor, he’s a compulsive, pathological liar. Everything he says is a complete fabrication. He will not show proof because he has none, no backup except his BS stories.
I don’t believe anything he says about his past, and if he showed up in the ER complaining about chest pains, I’d even take that with a grain of salt. He’s an attention whore and a lying bastard, with no remorse for any of the lies he’s cranked out of his poorly-organized brain.
I don’t think he can even use the excuse of senile dementia for this, because I saw that in my mother before she died, and she couldn’t remember and damned thing, including her own children.
He is just plain shit.
Yeah. What she said.
No argument from me ExPH2.
The reason for my question was because Marine Cpl. Retired Brandon Johnson asked, “You said Wave never escorted anyone back to the states, what is your proof on this?”
Well, I think the de facto proof of it is: that it just doesn’t happen. I hope Marine Cpl. Retired Brandon Johnson is reading this and will consider the facts of the matter.
What’s a CRC?
CONUS Replacement Center. The Marines operated their own I think, I don’t know what they called them. Here’s more about the one at Ft. Benning http://www.wtvm.com/story/23087390/fort-benning-crc-mission-comes-to-an-end
Ah, CRC-Benning. Truly a “wonderful” place. (smile)
I actually do have reasonably good memories of my time there, even if there was a lot of the normal “hurry up and wait” BS.
I liked that chow hall. I shared a table one meal with an O6 that was just coming back from Iraq. He was a Mississippi river operator with the Corps of Engineers and had been sent to Iraq to survey and evaluate the damns in northern Iraq. His take on it was that Saddam had built damns in unsuitable geologic terrain. Another day I was standing in line next to an O6 that was wearing a subdued Americal patch. Being that my uncle went over in 1967 on the USNS Upshur with the 198th LIB, we had some things talk about. When it was all said and done, my name with 2 others was on the bump list for the MAC flight. We had to fly KLM to Kuwait. Those were the breaks.
Unsuitable terrain for those two dams? GDC, that’s all part of the mountain range that lies across central Asia, which is where the 7.9 Nepal quake hit (and now 7.3 this morning).
Is it possible that a quake could take out either of those dams?
I must look into this.
No loss if those Dams break anyway,, that place needs a good douche’n out anyway.
The O6 I was speaking to said that Saddam had the damns built there for geo-political reasons in regards to the Kurds and Turkey… but that it was not a good place to build damns in regards to the soil and geology, etc. I think the main point I took away from our conversation is that dictators are stupid.
I thought ‘dictators are stupid’ was a given.
I’d have to disagree. Historically,IMO many dictators have been quite bright and capable.
However, IMO most were also highly amoral and put their desires before the welfare of the people they ruled.
My absolute favorite smart dictator of all time. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elena_Ceaușescu
Well, GDContractor – there’s always that proverbial 10%. (smile)
I went through the Benning CRC back in 1999 on my way to Europe to support Opn JOINT FORGE (Balkans opns); CRC was located at Harmony Church then; I assume it was the same facility when used for OEF post 9/11 and then OIF after Sep 2007.
OIF Iraq deployments for individual replacements/augmentees prior to Sep 07 went through the CRC at Fort Bliss. I went through Bliss CRC in 2006 on my way to Iraq and processed through Bliss CRC in Aug 07 just before the Bliss CRC shut down.
CRC-Benning was still at Harmony Church 2007 and 2008.
When guys say they can’t find their “DD-214”, it always reminds me of when I processed out of the Army, first in 1973 at Oakland Army Terminal after returning from Korea, and a second time in 1976 at Fort Hood, Texas.
On both occasions, we were EMPHATICALLY cautioned to go IMMEDIATELY to our County Clerk to have our DD-214 officially recorded, so that it would always be immediately available!
Thus, I have a DD-214 on file in Multnomah County, Oregon, and a later DD-214 on file in Salt Lake County, Utah.
So, for these guys who can’t produce a DD-214, which county clerk’s office did they have it recorded in?
Another thing I did at some point in time (because I can’t remember) was request a copy of my 201 File.
I just now got it out and looked at it, and there’s several glitches in there (I think).
But, as somebody in this forum previously pointed out, that’s not surprising, considering who was doing the typing (or penciling), and under what circumstances.
What would be surprising would be if there weren’t more glitches in DD-214s, Form 20s, and 201 Files.
Indeed. Well after I got out I was looking at my 214 and it’s when I finally realized that they had my MOS listed as 11B10, not 11B30 as I was a SSG when I ETSed. Small detail I missed at my final out when I got to review my 214. But if someone was nit picking my 214 they might accuse me of altering my 214 to say I was a E6 and not say a E4. I could request a correction, but I see no pressing need.
Old Waverly here is putting up some “Phildoesque” numbers.
And its still early.
I wonder what Wavey-boi’s Platoon Number was at MCRD San Diego?
That should be a simple enough question for him to answer.
Maybe one of the people who he friended on FB could ask him. He may think the pressure to produce a DD214 is slacking off and will actually answer the question.
He claims he was in Platoon 312 that Graduated at MCRD in San Diego in 1963.
Its beginning to look like he probably did a hitch in the Corps Prior to Vietnam Then Enlisted in the Navy as an Egg-slapper. He is claiming service on two Subs ( The Benny and the Trout)starting in 1968.
Eitheer way he is shitting on whatever service he did have.
Old Dog: perhaps you’re right. I’m beginning to think maybe he tried to get into the USMC pre-Vietnam, got turned down (the USMC was still able to get more than enough recruits at the time and was thus quite selective), but managed to get into the Navy after the USMC rejected him. I’m certainly no shrink, but that seems to me how a classic “wannabe” faking a dream that simply didn’t happen would act. It also fits what we’ve seen.
A FOIA request on Wavey-boi re: any Navy service he had during/after Vietnam is in the mail. Hopefully I had enough info for a “hit” on his records.
Sorry, I would have a very hard time believing that, given the picture of him in blues. That uniform is four horsemen of the apocalypse fucked up. No Marine ever wore that.
See facebook comments up above by Eddie Burdick. Still problematic.
By his own admission, he did not attend sub school. Qualified submariner?
None of this explains his 28 year fantasy career in the USMC, his rank of Gunnery Sergeant, his medals for valor, his pension, etc.
My guess is: cook in the Marine Corps, cook in the Navy. Master embellisher afterwards.
Just found this, check it out:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2230330221/
“Did any of you men serve with MS2(SS) Wave “Frenchy” Reynar? He is being accused of stolen valor. Frenchy served on the Blenny (1968), Dogfish (1969-70), Entemedor (1970), Trout (1970), Gudgeon (1970), and Trigger (1970-73).”
There is a Senior Chief who served on the USS Blenny who says he thinks he remembers him (in the comments).

Claims joined the Navy in 1968, retired USN in 1989.
According to that he retired from the Navy as an E-5.
It’s looking more and more as if he had some kind of a military career – but there’s still a wide gulf between being an E-5 Navy cook and a highly decorated, badass USMC E-7.
Looking forward to seeing the Navy FOIA.
I just checked the USSVI (Sub Vets) database, and found no hits on anyone named Reynar. Not a smoking gun, of course, but it would be unusual for someone claiming to be qualified on so many boats to not be a member of Sub Vets.
As far as the retired Lt General being refered to, this name has been mentioned, as he has done some work with the programs Flava Wave has weaseled into.

As others have articulated, it’s not so much that a volunteer organization accepted a willing worker, but that all his good works were based upon lies. Organizations are not responsible for the lies told by him. He alone is responsible for his lies. Most organizations are not going to carefully vet those who show up to help carry out their mission. Liars take advantage of that reality to advance their sick agendas.
Nope, no sympathy for the liar. However, let us hope that the individuals he “helped” understand that they are responsible for their own recovery, healing, or whatever it was and that his lies take nothing away from what they did for themselves.
So, yeah, lots of sympathy for the individuals and organizations his lies may have damaged.
I can agree to a point, OWB. But I don’t know that I completely agree. At some point, if/when stories become outlandish enough, common sense should start kicking in – and questions should start.
I mean, seriously – this was (paraphrased) essentially one of his claims:
Really? That reads like a bad alternate version of one stanza of the lyrics to Jumpin’ Jack Flash. No one ever questioned that ridiculous tale? Or wondered why he didn’t have any lingering aftereffects from what would have been a serious brain injury?
Perhaps he never told that story (or some of his other whoppers) to those he worked with at those good causes he supported. But I rather doubt that, since he was telling it to the press a few years ago.
The vast majority of the shame here belongs to the liar, of course. But at some point, those who enabled him by willingly suspending use of common sense begin to accrue their own share of shame, too.
There is a personality disorder involving having an alter ego that does things you don’t do. One of the networks ran a story on it a while back. I think it was in the late 1990s. The people in that story were a woman who had had so much plastic surgery that she no longer looked like herself and a man who had all sorts of awards for doing things, like support food pantries, as a Starfleet captain.
There were others, but these two stuck out because they were so odd. Neither of them could function as themselves. They said they could only do things as the alter ego.
It’s a real personality disorder. I don’t remember what it’s called, but it’s similar to an actor who takes a role and the role takes over his life. He becomes the character he plays.
Flavawave may have something this disorder, although I seriously doubt it. He’s unable to keep things straight in his head, but he likes the attention so much that any story will do if he can find someone gullible enough to believe it. The problem is that what may have started as small fibs 40+ years ago grew like a fungus around him and he’s trapped in a swamp of his own making.
This is not the same thing as the Starfleet guy saying ‘No, I really can’t do those things unless I’m wearing that uniform. I wish I could, but that part of me is better at it than I am.’
If Flavawave weren’t aware that he’s lying, he’d have responded by now. He’s avoiding it and letting others take the hits for him because he got caught. That tells you what he really is.
No disagreement from here, Hondo. Absolutely, at some point the organization bears some responsibility for advancing/supporting the lies if they have done nothing to verify them. Depending upon the mission, it might be when the volunteer walks in the door (say, in counseling situations, for instance, where trust and certifications are needed) and certainly before entrusting him/her to leadership positions.
I am not a Headshrinker, and I do not play one on TV… I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express, and the following article is from Wikipedia, so get out your salt shaker before reading…
But it seems to me that this description could have been written specifically for Valor Thieves:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathological_lying
Another interesting article on valor thieves, I mean Waverly, I mean pathological liars.
It is a website called “Psychology Today” – which sounds impressive, but could be no more valid than Wikipedia, so remember that I am no kind of an authority on anything, just that I found it interesting.

While I’m sure some of these guys can’t help themselves (Nikko the 100+ lies in 18 minutes phoney SEAL comes to mind) I think most of these posers know just what they are doing and it just snowballz. The Wave has,I would bet, gone to ground, and is hoping the storm will pass. That shows more of a logical understanding of what’s going on. It’s the ones that continue to publicly maintain the lie that are the ones I would call the Pathological ones.
For those who don’t know who Nikko the phony SEAL is http://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=36800
I have a request,
I and a few other have been working on this almost none stop for a while now. Waverley Raynar is not going to respond on his facebook page and arguing with his supporters is not going to do anything. So its wasted time and energy.
Waverley Reynar did was involved with many good organization and they are rocked to the core by this, constantly hammering his supporters only hurts those organizations. I know everyone is angry at him and that is ok but that anger needs to be limited to him and not those that he conned, they are victims.
There is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes right now about this, and updates will be made when they are confirmed to all of you that have searched and provided info I am as always very grateful. Well Done
Wilco. Full stop. Stockpiling popcorn. Happy hunting!

the only thing about that gif that really drives me nuts is the fact that his IR tabs are not covered up. did he not remember too check himself in the mirror before he left the B’s?
Copy that!
Roger. Out.
Cutting squares.
Grid Squares? 😀
Close. On ship, waiting to do something, ships sail in circles (squares) until ordered in. It’s like standby to standby on steroids.
Ah I see…..got it…..kind of like this?
(Can’t resist, one of my favs)
Hey Chip- I’ve gotta box of grid squares I can sell to you real cheap. That and a couple of metric screwdrivers.
I’ve also got a connection that can get some high grade glider fuel…
I have a box of propwash, and a gross of good used fallopian tubes. And I know a guy who sells flightline by the foot if you need it…
Anyone know where I can get my hands on some targets for the flamethrower range?
Yes, the flamethrower targets are stored in the back portion of the toolroom where the in-flight ICBM repairmen go to pick up their magnetic tool boxes.
For anyone interested, I have one extra box of Ground guides, two boxes of grid Squares, some extra chem light batteries, and an extra key to Area J!
I am still looking for a good brass magnet…have been for some time now…
I have a brass magnet…No kidding
Its a piece of bass stock about 3 inches tall and 4 diameter.
It was cut and had the senter removed a tight fitting brass cap was milled and noe magnets epoxied in the void and the cap brazed back on.
Cleaned up and polished on a mill
holds my paper clips,
I got bored in the machine shop and was left unsupervised for a few hours…
I have an extra ten gallons of prop wash if anyone is interested. Any takers?
Do you have any bulkhead remover or a can of A.I.R.?
I just got in a fresh supply of Bullshit Repellent spray.
If anyone is looking for spare BT punch, ask Master Chief I’m sure he still has a few. Only thing I have left over is a dozen or so fuse splicers.
I sent a kid looking for a 10 pound water hammer once. He almost missed getting underway.
Oh, I can help anyone find a BT punch all day long.
BT punch? What the hell is that?
I can make coffee that will peel the paint off a battleship’s hull.
Bring your own donuts.
“Bring your own donuts.”
or we can have flava wave whip up a batch of his “sticky bums”
I’ve a box of spirit-level bubbles that I’d gladly swap for a gallon of propwash.
Dude, your killing me, I just spent the night making some mems for his 2 dependas hoggs, but ok I’ll stand the fuck down for now, this has been more fun then watching your rack mate discover his hot bar girl was a lady boy.
Update time TL:DR Version, Wave is still not a Gunny. So this is what I have been up to Yesterday morning I called Mr. Hadnot with the Dept of the Navy, He Verified again that no Waverley or Waverly Charles Reynar with a DOB in May of 43 Served in the Marines. COuld he be wrong? I suppose its possible but not very probable. Best information at this point is he was in the navy From 68 until the mid 80’s. He was on subs and was a cook, he had the rate of CS2 so that would mean an E-5. His Story about subs is this as told to me. if you would accept the possibility that you may be wrong about Mr. REYNAR. I will share some info with you. Your premise is based on negative FOIA report. I know for a fact that if you do a FOIA request with a name only you will probably receive a ” no record based on information presented” letter. For a full source search you must include a service, don and soc. sec. Number if available. I have also seen Waves’ honorable discharge as a Sergeant, at which time he re-enlisted and was assigned to submarine duty in Groton, Cn As a Marine Recon man assigned to a Navy sub for purposes of training for underwater combat swimmer training–that Marine is assigned a ships’ duty station while aboard. Said Marine, in the 60’s would have been Officially considered ” in the Navy” and would have worn a Navy uniform. After being rated a combat swimmer and submariner, he returned to the MarineCorps in 3rd Force Re on in Vietnam-Nam. I have PERSONALLY spoken with comrades who served with him in Vietnam-Nam. I have PERSONNALLY seen his photo retired I.D. As a Gy Sgt E-7. I have seen his boot camp photo in his graduation book in 1963. I have more truths, but if this is not enough for you, then I believe you would not accept ANY PROOF that you and your fellow bloggers could be wrong on this one.… Read more »
Bravo Zulu to you E4U and your work on this… there is probably more going on with this story than we know.
Also agreed, great job and I hope to hear more soon.
WHAT REALLY SUCKS and you alluded to it above, is that many good, upstanding honest people are going to be hurt by this assbag’s actions.
Again, as we see so often. Stolen Valor isn’t always *ONLY* about the person that is committing the offensive act.
/karma is coming and I can hear the choo-choo whistle.
Well, that entire narrative is BS. SOF serving on submarines are not assigned to the boat, they are TDY to the boat and remain assigned to their parent unit. Also, he certainly wouldn’t have been assigned the NEC for a CS if he was on board “assigned to submarine duty in Groton, Cn (sic) As (sic) a Marine Recon man assigned to a Navy sub for purposes of training for underwater combat swimmer training.” If that were the case, he’d have been stuck working in the ward room or crew’s mess, along with working his qual card, and it wouldn’t have left much time for all of that underwater combat swimmer training (which would have been completed in the Recon training pipeline, anyway). Also, according to Reynar, he was on multiple submarines as a CS2(SS), which negates the claim that he “returned to the MarineCorps (sic) in 3rd Force Re on in (sic)Vietnam-Nam (sic).”
So, essentially, the story that Reynar told his buddy, and that his buddy recounted to you, it total and utter nonsense. I can believe that, at some point Reynor was in the Navy, and might have even been a CS2(SS), but there is no way in hell that he magically went from being a recon Marine to showing up on a submarine without an “A” school and sub school, then magically went back to the Marines.
Reynar is on record saying that he did not go to Sub school prior to cooking on the USS Blenny because he was Canadian.
“I was the stew burner on the Blenny from 68 to decommission
I was a direct imput from vietnam and the Marine Corps, I WAS
STILL cANDIAN, so they would,t let me go through sub school […]”
http://www.webenet.net/~ftoon/memory/guestbook97-99.html
He made that entry in Jan of 1999.
Because being Canadian makes one inherently knowledgeable about the physics and operating principles of a submarine?
I’m also still trying to figure out how someone who wasn’t a US citizen, and hence couldn’t hold a security clearance, was on a submarine crew.
I’m still wondering how someone who was a foreign national got on a boat.
I don’t know…. he says “… I was still a Canadian …” so perhaps he, at some future point, he became a naturalized US citizen. But with this illiterate nutjob, I am reluctant to read too much meaning into the word “still”. The USN FOIA should be interesting.
Ah …. BREAKING NEWS from COMNAVPERSCOM RATE UN-DISESTABLISHMENT and REVERSED RATE HISTORY OFFICE:
Culinary Specialist (CS) was not a typical ship or boat rate then as it was established in 2004 or so. It would have beem Mess Management Specialist (MS) back then during the Global War for the Nam.
He could have been a Commissary Man (CS) but he would have been the only one on a boat. That rate went away in 1975 and was typically a shore rate.
But what do I know.
Anything I can do help, just ask. Whether it is exposing the turd, or helping limit damage elsewhere. You have done good work in all of this, not all seen.
Ok I can see a small possibility that Wavy did an enlistment in the Marines, then reupped in the Navy.
But….
He is still one huge steaming lying pile o’shit.
Frequently referred to as a steaming pile of Phil Monkress.
I love it when A liar creates timelines based on lies that totally conflict each other. I don’t know who was trying to explain away the lies but they good not succeed. very weak.
OK, let’s see if I got this straight. Some help from the Sailors here may be needed. I was Army, but my son was a Navy Cook. Actually upon my son’s retirement he was a CSCS(SS). So:
Vietnam Era NEC Rate for a cook was CS (Commissaryman.)
Then CS turned into MS (Mess Specialist.)
Then about 10 years ago MS turned into CS (Culinary Specialist.)
So the Rate trail is CS to MS to CS. Do I have it right?
OT but that progression illustrates political correctness. Commissaryman and Mess Specialist are descriptive but then we have to go to Culinary Specialist. All had one thing in common, I’m guessing: make damned good SOS.
As well as “sticky bums”. Don’t forget the sticky bums.
Wavy boy IS a Sticky Bum himself, look at the people whom he has stuck himself to and dragged down with his lies and shenanigans!
sj, I wonder if the Army’s TOE’s/MTOE’s still have the paragraph and line number of Mess Sergeant, First Cook or Night Baker?
Or is the line number now described as: T-Ration Warmer?
Oh, how the times have changed.
Oh, wait, does the Army still have T-Rats?
And I bet you got up at 0300 and stood in line just to get DRO (Dining Room Orderly) instead of grease pit? I did (ROTC summer camp, Harmony Church, Ft Benning).
Yep, was DRO a couple of times and then Pots & Pans Man the other times.
It’s all good. Great character builders.
Probably right. I ended up my professional career in the Pentagon. Wife started a Belgian restaurant in the suburbs. I worked in JCS and then came to the restaurant to wait tables, do dishes, etc. I applied all my experience with Mess Sergeants and IG’s to get through county health inspectors. Good training! 2 salt tablets and drive on!
Could you share an awesome Belgian Stew recipe with us sometime on an open thread? I love Belgian Stew.
Screw the recipe, where’s the restaurant?
Bobo: we sold it in 2003 but it is doing well under the new owners. Its in Occoquan VA.
Semper Pot Shack!
That is where I found myself as a young Lance Criminal
SJ…..Mess hall duty? Screw that. AIT Ft. Lewis. Last formation, sat. Morning. Me and six others to report to mess hall for KP. I made sure I was last of six reporting, just kept trucking back to my barracks until the formation was dismissed. Never got caught, and NEVERdid KP anywhere in my illustrious, one year five month military career! Smile
E4U, check your e-mail. I sent you something.
First, Jonn ignore my ‘report on this post’ I hit the wrong button, second, I was Army so I’ll withhold thinking I know, but does it make sense to anyone that he would have to wear a Navy uniform, as a Marine?
In the US, no. Interestingly, though, in Canada, yes.
Bobo, I can’t speak for the 60’s-80’s, but when I got in in 96, it doesn’t matter what unit you serve with, your environmental (army, navy, Air Force) uniform stayed with you, even if posted to an. Opposing elements base/ship. So navy guys on an army base still wore navy uniforms, army guys posted to navy /Air Force bases still wore army. There was a bunch of fuckery in the 70’s/80’s with elements being forced into one “tri service” uniform etc, but it was short lived, if I remember the stories correctly that an old chief told me, that he could remember before the aluminum pot syndrome kicked in and I was getting beasted, again. This is all Canadian army stuff though. Further update, still nothing further from SV Canada. I’ll fire them a message next Tuesday, after the Victoria Day long weekend.
The story about him really being a Recon Marine who was Scuba Qualed and dressed and worked as a Navy Cook … ..
Would set the stage for him being a secret squirrell type who swam out of the torpedo tubes and tapped commie communication cables.
Yeah great book “Blind Man’s Bluff”
A regional editor, from Leduc Rep, responded to my email informing them that Waverly Reynar is a phony. I replied with a couple of the above photos and a link to this website.
This guy is a huge turd, how can so many real Vets fall for all his crap? We all went onto facebook and see all the comments, it is sad.
