More heavy rains are predicted for the east coast, coming down from Green Bay, WI. He presents himself as dumb enough to try to drive through an underpass with 4 feet of standing water in it.
He should be easy to find, sitting on the top of his car, crying and threatening to emasculate Neptune the weather god, and all weather forecasters within 5 miles of his drowned vehicle.
On the other hand, he may not even have a vehicle of any kind and will have to beg, borrow or steal one. This could be interesting, but I think he’s mostly air.

The first rule of vengeance is never leave a voice trail, in fact the ideal approach is to tell the news reporters that your family forgives the attempted murderer who stabbed your family member in the head over $80 in robbery in the driveway of that family member’s home.
You tell those reporters that your faith requires you to forgive and pray to the Lord that he also opens the hearts of the perpetrators and brings them the peace that comes with faith in the lord.
Then 3 years later when the stabber is released after serving about 34 months for attempted murder and meets a seriously tragic outcome at the party his family arranged for him on his release you let the reporters know how sorry you are to hear that the young man’s family has suffered a tragedy at the hands of some monster much the same as your family did a few years earlier and you offer your sympathy and leave it at that.
Having a really strong out of state alibi is also a good plan with this approach.

Jonn, I listened to the WVS Patrol call you made. Man are those guys NOT helpful or what? I couldn’t believe the trooper’s response and attitude. He made it all about you, instead of this dip shit who threatened you and your family. The typical, we’re really too busy, law enforcement response is what I heard. Which is, “You stop blogging and you won’t have these problems. Makes no difference you are RIGHT about all of it, just make our jobs easier for us. Who cares if the guy threatens to torture your family and kill you, you brought it on yourself, just don’t make headaches for us.” (That is ONLY my paraphrase of the conversation without stating the trooper’s actual words. Only the gist and intent of what I heard.)
I am truly sorry Jonn for the reaction you got from them. Completely inappropriate in my mind. So, if this guy makes good on his threat and you defend yourself, they will already have a preconceived idea about you. However the best thing you could have done is exactly what you did. Send them the conversation of threats and file a report. That way you have legally made them aware of this guy, his threats and the whole situation. They can’t claim ignorance now if you, God forbid, end up having to stop this guy at your home.

§61-8-16. Obscene, anonymous, harassing, repeated and threatening telephone calls; penalty.
(a) It is unlawful for any person with intent to harass or abuse another by means of telephone to:
(1) Make any comment, request, suggestion or proposal which is obscene; or
(2) Make a telephone call, whether or not conversation ensues, without disclosing his or her identity and with intent to harass any person at the called number; or
(3) Make or cause the telephone of another repeatedly or continuously to ring, with intent to harass any person at the called number; or
(4) Make repeated telephone calls, during which conversation ensues, with intent to harass any person at the called number; or
(5) Threaten to commit a crime against any person or property.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly permit any telephone under his or her control to be used for any purpose prohibited by this section.
(c) Any offense committed under this section may be deemed to have occurred at the place at which the telephone call was made, or the place at which the telephone call was received.
(d) Any person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than $500, or confined in jail not more than six months, or both fined and confined.

When I reported it to the authorities, they suggested I have no contact or interaction w/ him? My statement then, and now is “he’s threatened me and my family on two separate phone calls (which BTW, the punk acknowledged making the calls after being questioned by the investigator), so here’s the simple truth- I intend to take him at his word and his threat none to lightly. If Kortage takes another dose of Stupid or snorts one too many more lines of courage, it’ll be certain and regrettable that he was mistaken.”
