Weekend Open thread

| January 12, 2014

What You need an open thread? Ok, so here. I have two phonies already ginned up for Monday morning, mostly because real work is going to interfere tomorrow morning. Retirement can’t get approved soon enough.

@ #46: Sorry if I misunderstood your plan. But I took:

“In return for this any group that exposes them would agree to:
1.Post the apology and lock the threads they are exposed on.

2.Scrub the thread to remove anything other than the initial story, images that show the Poser wearing the uniform and further claims on the thread made by the individual or sock puppets.”

to mean that the original poster would have a great deal of work while attempting to scrub the thread of “anything other than the initial story…” Why should any poser exposer agree to remove true statements? Makes no sense to me. Most operators of websites probably already try to remove, or flag somehow, untrue statements, so I see no reason to make such an agreement with anyone.

What happened to Psul/Paul/?

The New Year finds APL avoiding calls, not answering calls, not returning calls and blocking calls from those concerned citizens seeking clarification of Commander Monkress’s claims. And if you are fortunate and DO get through, you receive insults, racial slurs and derogatory comments if you ask for the legal department.

But I wanted to clear one thing up. I do not think Phildo is biased against any one person, sex, creed, race, etc. When he steals, he steals equally. I mean, there is no difference with him whether you are blind, deaf, mute, paralyzed and so forth. he will take your money, honor and make your story his own to further his nefarious interests and greed.

Paul (of the Ballsack) on the other hand will not steal. He is to busy trying to insert his finger in your ass as Phildo is taking your wallet. Fucking weirdo!

And yet another year goes by that the government will not take any action.

Also, congratulations to the APL employees that just survived the recent purge.

APL is strangely silent.

My computer has had its annual tuneup, virus inspection and software updates. I’m happy to say that not only does my screen look less tired and the browser is faster, but I also like the new keyboard I picked up dog cheap. I do miss the button that turns off the sound from the keyboard, but that’s all.

Green Thumb, phildo is afraid of you. He knows it’s you when the phone rings, and won’t answer. You scare him. You should be happy.

I looked out of my window this morning and saw my assclown neighbor letting his dog crap in my yard. And he was looking around to see if anyone noticed. When the dog finished, he hurried off.

I immediate thought of Phildo Monkress and APL.

@55.

I am not happy, not by a longshot.

It is what Phildo knows about himself that makes him afraid. Not me.

I came across a fellow some months ago whose military record astounded me. At first, I didn’t believe it, for reasons that are obvious, once you hear about it. What’s more, the man is alive and, I hope, well. He lives some 10 or 12 miles from where I live, but I have never met him. I hope to do so one day, but I don’t want to bother the man. Besides, what would I say? If you are a Ranger, you’ve heard of him, no doubt. He’s in the Ranger Hall of Fame. He retired from the Army after being injured in a night-training incident. Jonn regularly reminds us that training can be as dangerous as combat and it nearly cost this man his life. He was subsequently offered a desk job but declined, saying that if he couldn’t lead men in combat or prepare them for combat, he wanted out. So, he retired.

There are a number of men who received the Silver Star more than once. It was not terribly unusual, especially for those who served in multiple wars or conflicts. But this men received his Silver Stars for action only in Vietnam. His first one came for action in 1966. So did his second. His third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh (!) came between 1967 and 1971. Along the way, he also received the Distinguished Service Cross, for action in 1970. The Distinguished Service Cross and seven Silver Stars for valor. Did you ever hear of him? I hadn’t, I’m rather embarrassed to say, but now I can’t forget him. His name is Charles Edward Getz. Take a minute and read some of the citations.

Green Thumb, how’s that term paper coming?

I like open threads. I can come over here and say that every time one of my cats deposits a hairball on the rug, I think of barnacle balding bernastypants, a/k/a bubblicious bernutsky. Then I wonder if I’m possessed when I do that.

Snow is coming, so I will hit the store for those things you don’t normally think you’ll want, like Snickers, soda, another bag of baby carrots, more boxes of chicken broth and a loop of smoked sausage for a hearty pot of soup.

And I can focus on writing instead of bernutsky.

There once was a fool named Monkress….

Who liked to steal from Congress……….

Not only is The Phildo avoiding calls seeking clarification of his claims, but employees at APL, when asked to speak with Phildo, respond “I do not know any Phil Monkress”.

Take it for what its worth.

Green Thumb

Even in light of all of that Navy SEAL and LEO training, Phildo is reduced to telling employees to say they do not know him if people attempt to contact him.

What a leader.
