Possible major breach of Israeli attack plans – by the US
Various social media sites had posts last week purporting to reveal secret Israeli strike plans in Lebanon in retaliation for Hezbollah’s missile barrage in September.
On Sunday, House Speaker Mike Johnson acknowledged that there is an investigation underway into the possible intelligence leak during an appearance on CNN, and added officials are following it closely. A law enforcement source also confirmed the investigation to ABC News.
The documents posted on social media have markings that would indicate that they originated from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the U.S. agency that collects, analyzes and distributes intelligence gleaned from satellite and aerial imagery. ABC News is not quoting directly from or showing the documents.
Believe that is the successor to NPIC, the old CIA photo-interpretation center in Washington.
The Department of Defense, Federal Bureau of Investigation and a spokesperson for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence all declined to provide any comment when contacted by ABC News.
If the posts prove authentic, it would signify a major intelligence breach, one reminiscent of the massive leak discovered last year after hundreds of classified documents were shared on the Discord social media platform.
Think that was young Mr. Jack Texeira, currently enjoying a sixteen-year break from polite society, presumably in eastern Kansas.
“If it is true that Israel tactical plans to respond to Iran’s attack on October 1st have been leaked, it is a serious breach,” said Mick Mulroy, an ABC News national security and defense contributor, who served as the deputy assistant secretary of defense for the Middle East.
“Everyone that has access to this information has an obligation to keep it secure,” said Mulroy. “The men and women of the IDF that would carry out this mission could be compromised because of this, the future coordination between the U.S. and Israel could be challenged as well.” ABC News
No kidding, fella.
One must ask: why would an ally trust us? We’re definitely fair-weather friends, our government leaks like a sieve, no matter whose info it is, and most of our “statesmen and politicians” have the manners, disposition, and behavior of a spoiled child.
Maybe start with the little things – when someone goes ‘off the record because they aren’t supposed to talk about something’ – fire ’em. No pension, no severance, just gone. How many times a year to you see that “from an anonymous source who isn’t authorized” – stop right there. Fire them, kneecap them, even both. Aaargh!
Now, while this pisses me off, I must admit there is another possibility. What if the Israelis arranged with us for the leak to happen, so Iran and Hezbollah would reposition their assets to respond to this – and redeploy right where Israel wants them. Hmmm… damn, I love it when it gets kinky. Unfortunately, I find it hard to believe any top officials in this administration could finesse a trick in Spades, much less something like this.

Though, sometimes I wonder if they privately acknowledge they’ve lost already and just want to turn a massive turd sandwich over to DJT.
I can’t imagine why Israel would even share a Latke recipe with this collection of losers, much less Hezbollah retaliatory strike plans.

Well, let’s hope they slow roll the investigation until after the inauguration so they can actually put some teeth into the findings. Would love to see a leaker get hammered.

The safe money is on some mid level Dem political appointee unhappy with the genocide of the poor little Hamas people who didin do nuthin’. But if the Israelis are playing chess with the US Intel apparatus that has more leaks than the Titan Submersible, more power to them.

Israel tells FALSE plans to the US, knowing they’ll be leaked to Iran & Hezbollah.
I & H then reposition their troops and assets in accordance to Israel’s REAL plans.
This is a months long wait & see.
