Domestic dispute leads to homicide outside Indy hotel; shooter released without arrest
by: Jesse Wells
INDIANAPOLIS — A 23-year-old woman is dead after being shot outside a hotel on Indy’s west side. The shooting appears to have stemmed from a domestic disturbance.Following the shooting, the man who pulled the trigger turned himself in and gave his side of the story, after which he was released without being arrested.
It all started around 9 p.m. Wednesday, that’s when police were called to the Red Roof Inn along South Lynhurst Drive and found 23-year-old Chasidy Hahn shot dead on scene.
~~~~~~~~~~
Surveillance cameras outside the hotel allegedly showed an argument between two men known to the victim, during which the woman appeared to pull out a gun and one of the men responded by firing in her direction.
I like my P89DC better than the earlier P85s, just feels better in the hands. I would carry it more if it wasn’t so big!
I guess she should have let the boys settle it like men instead of trying to intervene.
Note on P85s, they were recalled and they marked them P85 MKII after the fix.
Have a P85 MKII, she shoots anything with zero a jam but the accuracy is another story.
South Foolton or as we say…Memphis East. Where is ‘Cump when we need him?
If only one (1) side of the story is told, make sure it’s your’s.
RR was correct about the Latinos then. Those folks were coming here to work and try to make a better life for all. The ones we’re seeing are only coming for the free sh*t…and to replace all of the dead demonrat voters.
Guess folks that have had that Ruger design either love them or hate them. Ya get what ya pay for, I reckon. At least it’s not a Glock. *grin*
From the linked article, the Ruger P85 series is compared to a lot of other better made/higher cost handguns.
One that I DON’T see (but would seem more appropriate), would be to compare the Ruger P85 series to the HiPoint series of guns. Cost, weight (especially!), accuracy, long term operations (jamming, etc), cleaning, EDC, etc……
Yeah, from the comments I read in the linked article, I’d be willing to bet that the HiPoint guns would come out ahead….barely.
I’m willing to bet that after the Red Roof shooting, the two men made up their differences, shook hands, and went down to the local bar & had a beer or two together.
And the world was a more peaceful place without her.
