Peter Pasanen; another Canadian phony
Our friends at Stolen Valour-Canada tell the story of Peter Pasanen;
Mister Peter PASANEN of Burnaby, BC
Pasanen was a member of both the 1st and 2nd Bns of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and a Cold War veteran who earned the Special Service Medal (NATO).
Then he makes the decision to embellish his career narrative!
He has absolutely no service with the US Army in Vietnam and no lawful entitlement to the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart & the Combat Infantry Badge…
Dude, WTF?
Category: Phony soldiers, Valor Vultures
Hey Peter Pasanen, TAKE OFF, HOSER and enjoy your newfound internet fame!
The USA drafted him? Okay, sure.
What a gasbag.
(In his world, he probably believes when U.S. civilians were crossing the Canadian border to escape the draft, the U.S. decided to draft Canadian citizens as a trade-off).
At lease we are assured the insanity is not confined to within the U.S. borders.
Sorry, eh?
I’d laugh if it weren’t so sad.
So there have been a bunch of Canadians who pretended to be U.S. veterans.
I have yet to encounter/read about an American phony who pretends to be a Canadian vet. Not a single American that I am aware of has pretended to be in the PPCLI or the North Nova Scotia Highlanders or the Canadian Airborne Regiment.
This is patently unfair to the Canadian; they have a proud military heritage and history too…
P.S.: Yes, my tongue is firmly planted in cheek…
Cuz, CH, no American wants to be known to have served in “Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry” would be my guess.
How about you have a long hard suck of this!
The US awarded the soldiers of the 2nd Battalion of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry the United States Presidential Unit Citation for their heroic actions at Kapyong.
PPCLI are good enough to be ‘blue on blue’ bombed by your ANG?
Any of you remember Harry Schmidt, high on ‘go pills’, who killed 4 PPCLI’s and wounded 8 others at Tarnak Farm?
I served with Harry Schmidt when he was still a Navy pilot. His call sign was Psycho then.
He was one of the most hot-headed officers I ever came across, a very impatient man if I ever saw one.
I imagine that is one of the reasons the Navy didn’t keep him around.
Because of my past experience with him, I never once bought his claim it was the ‘speed’ he was given that caused his actions that day. He probably got pissed off and just went for it.
Fuck him…he got off too light.
Thanks Atkron!

I see nothing wrong with Canada military or its reputation.
But I would totally pick the “Van Doos” if I were going to.
I think Id go with Lord Strathcona’s Horse aka Royal Canadians…Why? ’cause they gots tanks 🙂
Highlander’s, or Blackguards sounds cool too.
I just want to claim to have been a SARTech, even though they are only stationed within Canadian borders.
And a USCG AST and flight medic.
Substandard Discharge = Shitbag.
Another future employee in All-Points Logistics’s Canadian branch.
We call them Canex Commando’s up here.
Canex is a more dissapointing version of the PX.
Although in KAF, the Canex was frequented by US troops who enjoyed the duty free Cuban Cigars.
His mug looks like a display in a wax museum. Get that CIB off your chest mother fucker!
Cocksucker! Take that CIB OFF you ass licking, pillow biter.
This POSer Hoser is sporting three fucking rows of US Army ribbons (most for non-existent RVN service), a CIB, and jump wings. I’d like to take all of them and shove them where the sun don’t shine.
What’s this aboot eh?
True, our Military is tiny in comparison to yours. But so is our population and tax base. Kalifornia’s population itself is larger than all of Canada’s.
And with all the enemies America has made since WWII, you NEED the best Military on the planet.
Really?
Would those be the enemies we made securing Europe from the Soviet Union?
Or perhaps the enemies we made defending South Korea from the North?
Or maybe attempting to keep South Vietnam from falling to the North?
Or how about keeping the Cubans out of Grenada?
Please, be specific. You really stepped in it you fucking Canuck, but keep on motherfucker.
Jesus….Keep your panties on spazzmo
The Cold War is a chapter in history that is thankfully closed.( But, do I even have to mention My Lai?) I was describing much more recent events such as Drone Strikes, Iraq WMD fiasco and others I dont have to mention.
Unless you are living in utter denial, you have seen how these actions have brought condemnation from many internationaly.
Personally…… I dont give a shit about dead camel fuckers
If you doubt what I say, take a trip to Yemen dressed as Uncle Sam.
If you return w/head still married to your neck……
I will treat ya to a big ol plate of Freedom Fries
