Obama blows off Medal of Honor recipients [Jonn]
According to TSO who was at the “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball”, this newly sworn-in President for the first time in 56 years blew off the ball (that’s 14 Inaugurations).
Some background on the ball;
The American Legion sponsors the ball, which recognizes recipients of Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military award. It started in 1953 for President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s first inauguration.
Event co-sponsors include 13 other veterans service organizations, among them the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
So where was our new President instead of honoring Medal of Honor recipients who by some miracle are still alive? According to Huffington Post, this was his schedule for Inaugural celebrations;

I am in a state of unbelief from a statement an Afro-American made on TV 6/25. For months I’ve wondered why Obama would want to destroy our nation, now it makes sense. Rev. Jesse said, Obama is a dangerious man. He hates the whites, especially the white male and wants to destroy him. The reasoning behind Obama’s plan to distribute the wealth, is to take it from the hard working white male and give it to the black population. Sounds like pay back/slave reversal to me.
Latlely other Afro-Americans have also been speaking out against Obama. Hopefully, in the next four years others follow and whether white or black we can all unite to take our country back. If Obama hasn’t completely destroyed it, by then.

He doesn’t deserve to be among honorable men, anyway. Of course, that’s not the reason for the snub, but it works for me.
I look at it this way–these MEN, these HEROES, do not need to cater to the likes of a sniveling backstabber like Obama.
This isn’t high school, where you invite the popular kid who hates you just to appear cool to the rest of the world. I’m sure they extended the invitation, Obama and his idiot sycophants gave them the finger, the organizers shrugged their collective shoulders and figured just as well.

It’s the height of the flu season. D.C. weather is heavily cloudy (appropriately gloomy, one might say). The windchill is in the low to mid 30s today. Perhaps there will be a cold rain. I guess this is what to expect from O Bama. He honors those that are important to him (Muslim Kings), but Medal of Honor doesn’t mean that much to him!
