Saturday morning feel good stories
The first story this morning comes from San Antonio, Texas where two men forced their way into a home. There was a scuffle over the gun they brought with the woman who lived there. The gun discharged during the scuffle and injured the gun man for whom the police are currently searching. But you should always bring your own firearm to a gun fight – you can’t depend on the bad guys shooting themselves for you.
In Manhattan, Kansas, 21-year-old Tyler Nelson was gunned down by a homeowner when young Tyler forced his way into the home. he was declared DOT (dead over there) at the hospital.
In Albuquerque, New Mexico, poor Javier Valenzuela is taking the rap for helping his friend, Jose Gutierrez, who claimed that he was stealing back a truck that had been stolen from him. Jose gave poor Javier a gun to stand watch while he tried to steal the truck, but the homeowner busted through the door and shot Jose. Javier took Jose to the hospital where they saved his worthless ass, but the police have charged poor Javier with the crime.
Bill Lahti, of Cowlitz County, Washington, found two burglars who broke into his mother’s home. Lahti held the pair at gun point while he forced them to call 9-1-1 on themselves. Lahti says they were shaking like leaves and he says there was good reason – he was missing his favorite TV show waiting for the police to arrive.
In Cincinnati, Ohio a teen attempted to rob two plumbers working at their jobs, unfortunately for him, one of the two plumbers legally carried a concealed weapon and made the teen DRT (dead right there).
A man in Cornelius, North Carolina was approached by another man with gun who demanded money. The first man screamed for help and third man with a legal handgun answered the call and fired at the thief. It’s not known if he was hit by the bullet or not, but he did abandon his robbery endeavor at a high rate of speed.

Guns; in the hands of good people= Lives and goods saved.
It was suggested tomme just the other day that if I bought more padlocks that I wouldn’t need my “arsenal”. I told this person that, at my age, I cannot throw a padlock hard enough to hurt someone, but that I am more than capable of throwing lead.
Lessee – six incidents, zero successes. Nine total perps, 2 doing the long dirtnap, two other perps ventilated, and four total perps in custody (not counting the dirtnappers). In baseball terms that’s like your team sweeping a double-header while one of the batters has a 6 for 9 night with 2 HRs, a double, and 3 singles.
But Jonn’s right – the lady in San Antonio needs to acquire her own weapon. The next time, a wannabe perp accosting her might not be incompetent.
Do not interrupt someone who has a favorite TV show. If it was ‘Game of Thrones’, never bother the viewer… EVER.
I am waiting for Without A Trace to do an episode on Elaine Ricci.
