Jonathan Michael Campbell; that phony in your school
We wrote about Jonathan Michael Campbell the other day when it was reported that he tried to get in a school in Unionville, PA school wearing an Air Force uniform and claiming to be in the Army. He wanted to talk to students about his non-existent military service. Alert school officials denied him that opportunity. But he told them that he’d just go to another school, so on his way, the police picked him up.
Our friends at Guardian of Valor discovered that he had a pretty extensive criminal record, included domestic abuse of the elderly and threatening behavior. I guess he’s been diagnosed as having some severe mental issues, but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous.
The BOLO at GoV says that he’s dressed in scrubs before and pretended to work in a hospital.

And thanks to laws passed courtesy of our “wonderful” liberal “brethren” it probably will be difficult to get him committed again – even though he definitely appears to have headspace and timing issues serious enough to require that for the public’s safety.

It was the Repube hero Reagan who closed the mental hospitals and released all the people who needed to be monitored. Thank him for the homeless and crazy out in the streets,not liberals.
Did you see the last line in the flyer? He played dress-up because, “[H]e wanted to feel important.” He may be a mental defective but he just perfectly stated the reason why nearly all of the military phonies do what they do.

My worst hospital fear. Jonathan Campbell in scrubs saying, as I drift away, “Hi there! I’m John Campbell and I’ll be your anesthesiologist and surgeon today.”

On topic, this poor fellow obviously needs help. He won’t get it most likely unless he’s in the “system”.
Yep. But he’s not always successful. He tried to get legal title to his former band’s name in the late 1980s after the split, and to get exclusive rights to all their songs to that point.
As I recall, that didn’t exactly work out too well. (smile)

You can tell these guys never spent a week in uniform. If they wanted to look “important”, they would dress as artillery Corporals and wear a 1Cav patch.
What a fucking creep. Why is this dangerous person on the streets trying to access vulnerable areas?
The person that allowed Campbell into that school to begin with even for just a few minutes. Shouldn’t be working at the school anymore. He/She put every single person in that building in danger. You just never know anymore what could happen.
But they did catch him and that is s start.
Think about the possibilities if they had not.

From the bulletins….Campbell is diagnosed with mental health issue, Bi-polar, schzophrenia, PTSD (non-service related and ADHD.

Has been 302’d ( involuntary mental commitment) several times……
This guy isn’t your typical poser/con artist, this is a fucking time bomb walking around on the street.
One that needs to be disposed of.
All I know is that this guy is a creep! He should face consequences for what he did…I know many people who don’t see this as a big deal, but 1. he basically tried to take credit for serving our country w/o doing so. 2. Who knows what he was going to “talk” about to those kids. 3. His having a mental illness will increase the stigma that is presented against all of those who live with a mental health diagnosis.
A cursory glance at his Facebook profile suggests he is suicidal and completely insane. The few public posts he has on there are pretty strange.
