Ever Wonder What Those Who Wrote the ObamaCare Law REALLY Think About Us?

| November 14, 2014

Well, I’ll let one of them tell you. The clips below are from a guy named Jonathan Gruber – one of the law’s architects, and an economics professor at MIT.

He further states his belief that American voters are stupid here (it’s at around 31:00 of an hour-long video – sorry, I can’t find a shorter clip).

And, finally – we have this:

Yep. According to one of its authors, ObamaCare was crafted the way it was because its authors thought “the American people are too stupid to understand the difference”.   That explains a lot.

Oh, and Gruber now says he “regrets” calling the American people “stupid”. Yeah? Well, I have one thing to say to that: “Bullsh!t.”   He doesn’t regret saying that at all.

What he regrets is getting caught on video telling someone his true opinion. Because it’s on video, he can’t now deny what he actually said or how he actually feels about his fellow citizens.  He regrets being exposed as a Nanny-state Marxist who feels his fellow citizens are too stupid to take care of themselves.  And he also undoubtedly regrets the fact that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi – who repeatedly cited his work by-name during the prelude to that middle-of-the-night, “we have to pass it to find out what’s in it” rush to enact ObamaCare – now denies knowing who he is.

You probably only heard about this guy’s statements recently, if you’ve heard about him at all. That’s because it wasn’t the media that originally found his remarks about the US public. Hell, given the prolonged attachment of the media’s collective lips to the POTUS’s butt during past few years I’d guess they’d have buried it anyway.  And the media is still keeping this mostly quiet today.

So, who broke the story?  Turns out it was an investment broker who couldn’t keep his health plan during the initial ObamaCare rollout.  He got p!ssed at being baldfaced lied to, and started looking into the background and past public statements of those who wrote the ObamaCare law. See the first link below for details.

So, we have a monumentally stupid law – which was written the way it was because the people writing it thought American voters were too stupid to notice.  And now they’ve got their butts in a sling because the American voters DID notice – and don’t like being played for fools.  The irony there is simply stunning.  You couldn’t make this sh!t up if you tried.

Some of these video clips of Gruber have had a way of disappearing from university and/or other public sources (imagine that). So in case that happens again, below are links to some of the original news sources on the matter.

You must be mistaken Hondo. Ex-Speaker Botox says she has never heard of this fellow and that he had nothing to do with it. And, surely he and Dear Leader were talking golf during his several WH visits, including one of 4 hours. You’re such a cynic. s/

Typical liberals.

They think they are smarter than everyone else.

The they get pissed when you show them they are not.

ChipNASA

Well now after last Tuesday, they know what it’s like when the chicken come home to roost.

Farflung Wanderer

Loving the Tommy reference at the end, Hondo.

I’m amazed that so few people understand how the high-tier liberals feel about their constituents. It’s not just a general dislike; it’s an all-out hatred of anyone that isn’t them.

If only the MSM would discuss it once in a bloody while, *maybe* the whole American people would start to realize what dickbags people like Gruber are.

LC

Out of honest curiosity, don’t you see this as a problem on both sides of the spectrum? The number of times conservatives rail against ‘low-information voters’ -basically, a way of saying liberals are stupid- is, in my opinion, just as high as the number of times liberals rail against ‘stupid’ or ‘backwards’ conservatives.

I also don’t think it’s hatred of anyone that isn’t them – it’s more a frustration at the fact that ‘they’ don’t see things the same way, and thus it’s harder to move the country more in the direction one wants. They hate the ‘obstructionism’, not the person. Maybe it’s a minor difference, but I think it’s an important one.

Old Trooper

The difference I see is that conservatives are grousing because people aren’t getting informed (and don’t want to be) and the commies want the people to stay ignorant.

Farflung Wanderer

Yeah, I don’t think that Conservatives (not RINOs) hate the low-information voter, they just want to educate them and are frustrated because they either can’t or won’t.

The Liberal, on the other hand, propagates a lack of education, and exploits the uneducated. They have no intention of teaching anyone anything close to reality because it gives them power.

The thing about obmamacare is that IMO it was never designed to ‘work’ at all. Certainly, if it HAD worked, Obama and his supporters would have been thrilled, but they would also have been just as happy if it had failed because their real agenda is (and always has been) universal, single-payer health care.

That’s always been the goal and Obamacare in its current form was just a means of moving us closer to that eventual goal. In fact, it was a perfect setup: By creating Obamacare, they plant in the minds of most people the notion that health care is a “right” that somebody else ought to pay for. Then if/when it implodes, the architects of Obamacare can come back and say “See? We tried to use the existing health care companies, we tried to use the ‘free market’ and it didn’t work. The greedy evil health care companies made Obamacare fail, and THIS is why we need universal, single payer health care.”

Old Trooper

Yep.

Wompwomp

Damn, that’s well put.

Bingo!

The American people are, overall, stupid as the day is long. Hell, just look at who is in the WH and, most especially, that when we could have been rid of him, his stay was extended an additional four years. The only thing I found at all surprising aboput this was that Goober/Grubby/Whatever here spoke the truth. That’s not supposed to happen.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Well he said some other stuff too, back when he was working with Romney here in the PRoM to get the health care law passed….

Back then he said it was interesting that the Republicans in Massachusetts were for the law because it penalized the lack of insurance and thus forced the free riders on the system to finally get coverage and pay like everyone else, he also noted that when Romney got the bill passed in Massachusetts the liberals in the state hated the new law…..funny how a few years changes the dynamics.

Yep, putting an (R) or a (D) after your name tends to make the other sides heads explode.

Ex-PH2

Yes, it’s that part in the movie where the girl says ‘you’re up there smirking at us while we’re all rolling around down here in the mud’ and the guy says ‘I think you like rolling around in the mud’.

No, grubber, we don’t like rolling around in the mud. But, since you think it’s such a trip, your turn is coming. Count on it.

Ex-PH2

Es ist grubenhalde.

I saw this on the “Kelly Files” the other night.

I enbjoy getting the BAD news from Kelly because she is so GOOD to look at!

Yeah this dip shit needs to be hauled into a subcommittee and asked a few pointed questions.

SJ

Gowdy’s committee would be great.

Hack Stone

If he were called before a committee, his computer hard drive would crash and he would have suffered a concussion with doctor prescribed bed rest for an indeterminate amount of time.

Or, he could appear and say “Yeah, we outright lied to the American public, but at this point, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?

Sparks

SJ…I wonder if sitting before a subcommittee, Pelosi were asked if she did in fact know him, she would deny it or hem-haw…until Gowdy pauses her then to play her recorded remarks using his name. THAT I would pay money to see!

Turns out it’s at least 5 separate videos from different meetings where this guy Gruber outed himself with these despicable comments.

Also, here’s a link to an article which reports that Gruber and president mom-jeans worked hand in hand at the White House to craft these lies and cover-ups in the law.

http://dailycaller.com/2014/11/14/president-crafted-obamacare-deception-with-gruber-at-white-house-meeting/

President mom-jeans lying to the American people? Developing false information to insert into a bill? This is my shocked face…….
