Lee Edisson; Walting at Woolwich

| May 26, 2013

Lee Eddison UK Walt

Our brothers in the UK, the Walter Mitty Hunt sent us a link to their work on Lee Edisson, who they caught paying his respects to Drummer Lee Rugby in Woolwich where Rigby was beheaded by crazed jihadists. Apparently this photo was in the Sunday Telegraph.

Seen on page 5 of the Sunday Telegraph 26.05.13, Captain Lee Edisson SAS laying flowers at Woolwich. RM dress jacket, blue RAF shirt, SAS enamel lapel badges under RM cap badges, RAF squadron badge left upper arm, white RM cap…

Words from the SAS – “NOT REAL! wanker…. collar dogs are brass not f*cking blue enamel from ebay, and blades do not wear their parent unit collar dogs! All his badges are wrong wrong wrong….”

Not that you guys don’t make good comments, but the comments on the Walt Hunter’s Facebook page are hilariously British.

A photo from Edisson’s Facebook page;

On a related note, the Telegraph posted a video of Rigby’s widow visiting the spot where he was murdered and what they’re calling “a wall of flowers”.

Where does Edisson get the balls to show up at this hero’s memorial site? There is no limit to “no shame” among ass wipes like him. How dare he show up! I know nothing about British uniforms or regs for them but it looks like he has been called out more than once. I wish some of Rugby’s barracks mates had caught him there and tuned his ass up

Just an Old Dog

I don’t think the Brits have any laws about wearing uniforms or medals, so unless he commits some sort of fraud the only recourse is ridicule.

OWB

Ridicule is a nice start, though!

I liked the FB comments posted. Very British dry humor (at least to these Yank ears). Some sexual expressions seem as if they would be very well adapted to these shores. I especially like the series of comments asking if there was any law against SV (apparently not in GB), if not, was there any law against pounding the shit out of any wanker caught out as a Mitty.

British Posers.

How trendy.

You’re telling me in a country which prosecutes facebook and twitter posts for being mean that you can pose openly, in uniform at memorials and get away with it?

Combat Historian

These walts better be real careful; prancing around in a fake SAS uniform in Londonistan is liable to get their poser heads hacked off by not-so-nice jihadis…

Ex-PH2

I really do have this terrible urge to go squirt ketchup on Edisson. I do. I truly do. My fingers are just itching to do it.

Sadly your link goes to a facebook page actually being run by an exposed Poser or what we now call cumpers, called Tim Wade Read it here.https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.164025457093481.1073741854.146602598835767&type=3

Spot on with what the other lad posted, the Cumper club exposed this twat hours before Walter wade picked up in it. Wade is one if the biggest posers going and a fraud scam artist to boot

Bob Sidmonds

Pass this link around club members. We need to get this trash noticed.

Ex Airborne Soldier

This is an afront to the family of this serviceman. How dare this walter mitty subject this family to this. It is an offence to wear decorations and the uniform etc of British Forces and I do hope this man is prosecuted. God help him if the lads get hold of him – he will be wearing his decorations where the sun don’t shine.

ian a

what a total prick god help him if he meets up with REAL heroes……..

Turd.

Seems there is no shame to the Walts, may be when the police are finished investigating Lee Rigbys murder they can spare a few officers to pay Edisson a visit. There are laws against wearing uniform and military decorations but unless public spirited citizens do the work for the police the police seem to sit on their hands.

Edisson

Im feel be very bad for all this misunderstanding and I need make my apologise .
I was ther to only to pay my respekt when the Sunday telegraph man talk with me we make misunderstanding and Im ring him later this afternon to make all clere
I’m not a army oficer and Im never was in armi but when am try explained this all his mobile reception was not good so maybe he don’t understand me properly
I love army and uniforms and because of that I was think so that will be nice go there with uniform I see now I was wrong
I don’t wast upset nobody and in very very sorry and apologise for my stupid mistake

Nanette

I am Lee’s girlfriend – I can vouch that Lee’s apology above is genuine. If you read my extensive explanation on Walter Cumper Hunter FaceBook Site you will see the exact turn of events on what happened that Saturday afternoon. Lee fully understands the upset he has caused – he wishes he could turn the clocks back… please read my comments on the site in full…he did call the reporter that same afternoon and came clean about not being in the army, insisting that the guy should NOT print anything in the paper, especially not his picture. The guy said “no worries”, but went ahead in any case… opening Lee up for a public stoning to the extent that he could never have imagined. Since that day his life has been a living hell. I’m sure most of you will be celebrating but I want you to know that he never intended for a second to offend Lee Rigby or his family. We have all the proof in his mobile phone, of the calls and texts made between Lee and the photographer at the Sunday Telegraph. At the end of the day, Lee was there to pay his respects – he did not approach the press… Tony – ref your comment 16 above – did it ever occur to you that the Telegraph should have had a duty of care to carry out some degree of due diligence or at least have an editor with a miniscule amount of military knowledge run his eye over this picture over before publishing it? Anyone with the most basic inkling of military attire would have laughed at it. At the end of the day, yes, it was a stupid mistake and a misunderstanding – Lee is not a murderer… he intended no disrespect. And yet hundreds of comments wishing he was dead, wishing he had been the one murdered, hacking into his FaceBook page and stealing his and our personal photos to put on Wanted Posters on the net…let me ask you, who are the real criminals here??? – When a dozen or so… Read more »

Nanette:

Play stupid games … win stupid prizes.

Your explanation does not and will not hold water here or across the pond!

Any questions?

PintoNag

If that’s him in #17, he’s nearly illiterate.

OWB

Typical. This clown made a “mistake,” but it is someone (anyone) else’s fault. Maybe he should have considered the consequences PRIOR to deciding that posing as someone he is not was an appropriate thing to do.

But, as Nanette points out, this is not the first time her crowd has disrespected the uniform and the military in general, so it should come as no surprise that they assumed they could continue to get by with their dress up game.

Yeah, Nanette, what I read both in your and his explanations is that you are very sorry to have been caught.

rb325th

Oh holy hell…. what is that in #17?? You are his girlfriend Nanette? What the hell do you two talk about? he doesn’t seem capable of much more than a grunt… I think you toook your brain addled boyfriend there, dressd him up in his play clothes because you thought it would be a neat idea to go to Woolwich looking like the hero.
You both disgust me.
