Disinfectant Light Inside the Body
Mainstream media and progressive doctors had a field day with President Trump’s recommendations during a briefing. One of the president’s suggestions involved using a powerful ultraviolet light inside the body. This is based on the use of these lights, and other disinfectants, to address the coronavirus outside on surfaces.
Many misquoted President Trump and insinuated that the president had a couple of screws loose for running this and other suggestions. One doctor even went on his YouTube channel and criticized the president for making the ultraviolet light recommendation. It turns out that there is technology being developed to bring such ultraviolet light into the body.
Mark Dice has a YouTube channel where he hammers CNN, MSNBC, and other mainstream media. In this video, he points out how there is support for the president’s recommendations, based on actual science and on technology. These videos are being censored if they support President Trump’s statements.

And Lars will swoop in and shit all over in 4….3…..2……
…while whipping his Empirical Evidence out for ALL to see…
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD… NOT HIS “EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE”!!!
His Journal of Bezerkley copy and paste….
…which replaced Weekly World News (featuring Bat Boy) after it folded.
Ironically,
UV Light would reveal what
Anderson Cooper leaves behind in hotel and motel rooms.
Jizz and saliva infested fecal matter.
Everything that we have had to deal with over the last 3 years is brought on simply because dasHitlerbeast, the skrunt, murderous trash from hell didn’t get her turn. ORANGE MAN BAD!!!!!!!!! We have seen the memes, the jokes, cartoons ect on this subject. “Trump cures cancer!” It is seen as “Trump throws cancer doctors out of work!” “Trump eagles on the 9 hole!” No, “Trump kills 9 eagles!” And the list goes on. These mofos are making a very spirited attempt to destroy people’s lives AND this country, just to maintain their grip on power. And as the video points out, when someone who is not MSM tries to bring the truth out, they are shut down.
The Bitch of Benghazi has been part of the swamp for nearly 50 years, Biden et al nearly the same. How is it that a man that has been there less than 4 years is the cause of all of the problems in the country?
Torch? Pitchfork? Rope?
I wrote and deleted a long response to this post, mainly because you make absolutely no sense, and it is pointless to try to address your sequence of non-sequiturs and general lack of anything like a logical argument.
Let’s just say that I find it interesting that you will not address what the president actually said and whether or not it was a good or bad thing.
Are you the recipient of a badly botched lobotomy as well as being brainwashed?
How can I take you seriously when you don’t even have a point to make?
However, I am amused that someone who takes everything the president says as gospel calls other people brainwashed. I almost laughed out loud, but my deep despair at the state of logical thought on display quickly put an end to the levity.
Your argument is invalid. You didn’t say “hubris”.
I used it on SgtM, I thought it would be overkill here.
Lars got a new IP? You using your most recent Chiknees girlfriends computer?
I can assure you Steeleyl has a new, consistent IP, and is not a Lars alter ego, OM.
Far too few spelling mistakes to be Lars. While they’re both condescending pricks, our old friend types in such a way that you can feel the spittle flying out of his mouth in impotent rage.
Or “hubristically.”
Some examples:
“Some might consider a hat-trick of chairmanships greedy — or at least hubristically ambitious”
Times, Sunday Times (2016)
“The religious mind, however, hubristically appropriates the blind happenings of physics for petty moralistic purposes”
Times, Sunday Times (2010)
“In fairness, this is not simply a case of less prestigious institutions hubristically failing to price themselves accordingly”
Times, Sunday Times (2011)
Of course, this fallacious argument is based on the concept that Trump supporters must be be stupid. After all, being so smart, anyone with differing views must be stupid.
How might one argue with such logic?
Perhaps this way; there are multiple perceptions to every event, but perceptions are not necessarily based in the reality of the event. If you believe that the President suggested drinking bleach, you are perceiving an internal event, not the actual event.
It’s OK. Many still believe Obama was a Muslim, JFK is still alive, and Elvis is coming back any day now.
It’s OK, I won’t judge.
Elvis is in Bisbee. He’s tending bar at St. Elmo’s. Shh. It’s classified.
Do you actually believe that the President of the United States of America told people to inject disinfectant? I.E. Lysol, et al
First off, that’s the problem. No one, to include Trump himself, actually knows what he was doing.
I think he tried to explain something he didn’t quite understand while standing in front of the world press, which rarely works out well.
I think only very stupid people took him seriously, and therein lies the problem.
I don’t think the president is stupid, I think he is deeply unthoughtful, which I think is worse.
Let’s flip it around- what did he hope to accomplish through that statement or speculation? Do you think that a bunch of scientists said ‘eureka’ and ran back to their labs?
“Do you think that a bunch of scientists said ‘eureka’ and ran back to their labs?”
Yes of course you asshole…. that is EXACTLY what “we” all thought.
Therein lies proof of your illusion of superiority and your perception that everyone around you is stupid and unable to interpret your mental illness and instead think that you are all knowing.
STFU.
Your commanders may have liked how you dance, but I am not your commander.
Answer the question.
” No one, to include Trump himself, actually knows what he was doing.”
I like to think I can understand ordinary English, even when badly used. You may not have understood it, and it is good to hear you admit you can’t (or won’t) comprehend spoken English. As someone once said, “A man has to understand his limitations”.
“I wrote and deleted a long response to this post”
That’s called a tell.
“I wrote and deleted a long response to this post”.
Should’ve stopped right there.
You say that a lot. Why write it if you’re not going to post it. I get the feeling this is just something you say to make it seem like you’ve put a lot of effort into a response.
” and deleted a long response to this post,”
Thank you. Good decision. Some things are better left unsaid.
5th/77th FA’s post makes PERFECT sense. Spot on.
This is what Cedars-Sinai has to say about this promising technology:
A Cedars-Sinai research team is in the pre-clinical stages of developing a technology that harnesses intermittent ultraviolet (UV) A light for treating viruses and bacteria. The technology has not been tested or used on patients.
https://www.cedars-sinai.org/newsroom/cedars-sinai-statement-on-uv-a–technology/
In other words, while the president is technically correct, this is still in the great idea phase and is far from a reality. All they know for sure is that UVA light kills micro-organisms on surfaces. No clue if it will do the same internally or what it would do to human tissue.
I will put this on the long list of things I wish the president had not said publicly.
And at the end of the day, you too are non essential.
I appreciate the counseling
Your welcome. Now go do something to benefit society, other than orange man bad. I do, thank me every time you stick food in your mouth. Non essential.
Alright, let me explain. I was being sarcastic. I really do not care what you think of me, mainly because you have no idea who I am or what I do, and I have no idea who you are or what you do. In other words, your posturing about who is essential and who isn’t is based solely on your opinion of yourself.
Opining that Donald Trump should have thought about what he was going to say prior to opening his mouth during one of the most watched briefings in the world doesn’t mean that I have Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Maybe, just maybe, if some of the sycophants on Fox would actually say something along those lines he might actually start to think.
No a liberal governor called me essential. I could be making $1000 a week sitting at home like all the non essentials, but I get up and do my job everyday. Id lose money but hey free stuff, right orange
Man bad.
[Editorial note: Everyone get ready, I am about to use your favorite word. SgtM, you may want to open a google window so you can look it up.]
Your hubris is absolutely astounding. You clearly have no idea what non-essential means, but you seem to think that because you have been deemed essential it gives you the right to place yourself on some sort of pedestal above everyone else.
There are millions of good, hard working Americans that were designated non-essential and are at home, following President Trump’s guidelines about social distancing and staying at home. Many of them don’t know if they will be able to pay their rent, their mortgage, or even buy groceries.
I still don’t care about what you think of me, but I hope you get the idea that I think you are petty, judgmental, and uninformed.
No I’m just a guy who goes to work everyday, like I’ve done for years and years. Did my time with Uncle Sam and live a decent life. For your information us fly over idiots know what hubris means. We also know a sack of shit when we see it. All you have is orange man bad. Are you still supporting the penetrator Joe? I don’t look down on anyone who lost a job. Unless they were a useless piece of shit before all this. Am I hitting a nerve, non essential.
You have no idea what I think of anything except for Trump’s ridiculous statement the other day, and you.
Again, you have yet to talk about the actual subject, but prefer place yourself on a pedestal, without really knowing anything about the people you insult.
I work every day as well, have for years, and did my time with Uncle Sam (I bet longer than you). I’ll do the same tomorrow, but I will have a hilarious story.
You really do obviously care what SgtM thinks about you. Your narcissism demands it.
I’m an essential worker. Unfortunately, my job supports a metric shit-ton of non-essential or telecommuting workers. If they’re not at work, I have very little work. But, I’m there, every day, being “essential “.
“I will put this on the long list of things I wish the president had not said publicly.”
Wouldn’t want to give the proles any hope, would we?
Of course we do.
What we don’t want to do is create false hope, or worse yet, a public outcry for an unproven treatment that in turn creates pressure on researchers and FDA officials to take shortcuts.
How about a blanket statement that America leads the world in innovation, and our top researchers are working around the clock on a variety of promising treatments and medical interventions. The Task Force is looking at these closely, and we will ensure that our best and brightest minds have the resources they need to move forward.
The president has an entire team of people who do nothing but develop messaging and write speeches for him. They are good at what they do, and they have access to all the experts they need to put out factual information in a timely fashion.
I meant to add that the knowledge that such a deeply unthoughtful person is making decisions about the health of the nation is actually destroying the hope of many in this nation.
If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. You didn’t build that. That cop was stupid. Sure orange man bad. A president destroying hope in this country came long before the orange man. Hope you didn’t need a good used car to get to your doctor that you liked. Non essential.
SgtM, you have a gift for talking without making a point, but this point barely makes sense. Seriously, you have words strung together in sentences that don’t have any bearing on what Trump said or what I said in response.
Also, do you think that calling someone non-essential is an insult? I don’t think it means what you think it means.
You have a gift of thinking you make a point, but only talking. And you accuse me of hubris. There are only two people on this blog I have called non essential. Consider yourself in a small club. Non essential.
My 10 year old walked by and read some of your posts. He’s still laughing.
I have absolutely no regard for your opinion on anything. I think it’s hilarious every time you write something, mainly because you take yourself so seriously, but also because of your utter lack of ability to actually say anything worth reading. Truly, it’s a gift. You should write Tweets for the White House.
Go on to bed before you pass out. Don’t want you too hungover at your essential job tomorrow morning. You should really re-evaluate some of the choices you’re making.
Typical Liberal… involve your young kinds in your derangement.
“I have absolutely no regard for your opinion on anything.”
Then why do you keep responding???
I don’t know whether you are some master level troll or you really believe that your freshman level “thinking” is fresh and evocative.
But…and here is the punchline…a very good point is made and you either missed it entirely because you cannot read for comprehension, or you have to ignore it because the truth hits the sore spot.
In truth, our history is full of Presidents who were not ‘thoughtful’ by your lofty intellectual standards. Van Buren, Grant, both Roosevelts, Truman, Nixon, LBJ, Clinton, Obama are all examples. Each was successful in their own way (except Van Buren) in spite of this.
In your world, the President is required to be an intellectual, well spoken and articulate on all subjects, but in the real world, that means nothing. Presidents are politicians.
As for “pressuring” civil servants, that is patent BS. Government workers and university researchers could not care less what the President says, as he doesn’t appropriate research grants.
The Left favors glib posers who speak well in bullshit.
Thus a disaster like Obama is seen as “presidential” despite having the anti-Midas touch, turning most everything he touches to crap.
” He’s still laughing.”
But probably not for the reason you are hoping for. Children often laugh at their parents’ stupidity.
“What we don’t want to do is create false hope, or worse yet, a public outcry for an unproven treatment t”
Clean out your ears. One of Trump’s standard and repeated comments is something like he doesn’t know if ___ will work or not, or whether ____ is true or not (what we cognoscenti call disclaimers), but why not have some experts research it. Hardly unreasonable, at least to reasonable folk.
“False Hope” would be a good Biden campaign slogan. Especially for a guy who’s been wrong on every public policy issue for nearly 50 years.
SteeleyI,
I wrote and deleted a long response to this post, mainly because you make absolutely no sense, and it is pointless to try to address your sequence of non-sequiturs and general lack of anything like a logical argument.
👏🏻
I’ll have to defer to my Nautically Challenged brothers and sisters, as I only used the stuff in maritime smoke and flare markers. But wouldn’t Willy Pete have sort of the same cleansing effect?
*grin*
I think they used to use that to clean out villages in the Viet Nam times.
Pretty sure that WP is a damn fine disinfectant, AW1Ed.
Then again, so is an acetylene torch.
Unfortunately, both generally have . . . somewhat undesirable side effects. (smile)
See the lib Lady sitting on a porch, napalm turned her into a screaming torch, napalm sticks to libs.
It’s fun to threaten the lives of our political opponents in a free society.
Your hero Howard Stern took the gold medal for the today, non essential.
Does this stuff make sense in your head? I take no pleasure in saying that I think you are having some sort of episode.
Are you seeing a mental health professional? If so, are you taking the meds? You shouldn’t be mixing them with alcohol, you know.
I get the feeling that you are experiencing some sort of guilt over
Is the orange man that lives in your head telling you to shoot up Lysol and drink bleach getting to you? And you say I need help. Maybe your hubris is keeping you from making a call for help.
SgtM, I’m getting worried. Put down the Cheetos, pour out that last Bud Light, and just go to bed. Remember to clear your browser history.
So your eating Cheetos and drinking Bud Lite with your kid, you brought them into this. It all makes sense now why you are fixated on Lysol and Clorox. Your looking at your hand seeing the bad orange man.
It’s “you’re”; that’s a contraction of “you are”. “Your” is the possessive.
You’re welcome.
See, grammar can be fun!
Now your are the grammar police on a blog. Good for you sunshine. Tell us again how long you served and how it is better than anyone else who served. You brought this up just like you did your kid.
Your sure don’t care at all what SgtM thinks about you. Be sure and tell him again so he knows.
SOME time ago in the past, a young Kid and his Grandfather were strolling in a field near a road. Suddenly the Grandfather asked “Hey, do you hear that?” to which the Grandson replied “Yeah Grandpa, it’s a wagon coming down the road!” to which the Grandfather replied “Yes, and it’s empty.”. The Grandson asked “Just how can you tell if it’s empty or loaded, Grandpa?” and the Grandfather replied “An empty wagon always makes a lot more noise than a loaded one, and people are the same way, an empty person will always make a lot more noise than someone who has a full life.”.
YOU Steeleyl, are another empty wagon of life just making noise to get attention to gratify your empty self.
I really enjoyed the folksy wisdom.
Again, that was sarcasm. Nothing you have said sways me in any way.
If you disagree with what I’ve said, by all means lay out your case and I will be glad to discuss it.
It is fascinating to me that of all the people responding to me only one or two have actually addressed my argument, while most, like you, just try to insult me.
Again, for all on TAH, I don’t care what you think about me. Your (SgtM, are you paying attention?) virtue signaling to each other is kind of pathetic. Please, if you have a viewpoint, please express it and counter my arguments. Calling me names just makes you look silly.
“I don’t care what you think about me!”
“I don’t care what you think about me!”
“I don’t care what you think about me!”
“I don’t care what you think about me!”
Methinks yon SteeleyI doth protest overmuch…
Every Drill instructor I ever met must want to kill old ladies and yellow birds. Call the DOJ. There are thousands of them. Non essential.
Evidently a lot of people think so, as the Secret Service stays pretty busy investigating some of those threats to OrangeManBad.
You might also want to look into the idea of purchasing a sense of humor and proportion/reality. A bad or unfunny joke is a bad or unfunny joke, not a threat.
Back in the day we had WP thermite blocks on
top of some “special” equipment racks.
If we had to abandon the place the WP was to
be set of thus burning through the equipment
and all the way to Hell below.
Nobody misquoted him. They played the video of him directly saying the stupid shit he said.
Most of the criticism was not directed at the UV light comment. Which was utterly moronic in of itself…
The focus has been on his comment about injecting disinfectant into the body.
Trump is truly one of the stupidest men to have ever held national office. Certainly the stupidest to ever hold the office of President.
The worst part was not just that he had said it, nor that he was too idiotic to see how fucking moronic his ideas were; the real issue is he was retelling a conversation that he thought made him seem brilliant. As though he had come up with new ideas that had not occurred to doctors or scientists yet.
And then he pathetically claimed he was being sarcastic. And lied and claimed he was not talking to Dr Birx, despite the fact that he literally calls he by name when he asks the question.
The guy is pathetic. And anyone who politically supports or makes excuses to defend him at this point is also pathetic.
Put you country over your party for Christ’s sake.
The was a time when Republican was a set of principles with an incoherent but at least defensible ideological platform…
Now it acts like a cult. Brainwashed. Sycophantic. Psychotic.
I am truly disgusted with a huge percentage of this country for continuously worshipping and prostrating themselves to this malignant, moronic, incompetent, narcissistic, sociopathic, con-artist.
There is no way in hell you would forgive or excuse much of the crap he does if her were a dem. Why is ok now the he decided to be a Republican?
The nepotism and personal profiteering alone should be more than enough.
Be careful, or SgtM will call you non-essential. If he hasn’t passed out yet.
Nah already called Lars that. He did
Not take the toll bait, unlike you.
Troll
And you will be right there to tell him you don’t care what he thinks of you.
When are you leaving Lars?
I put my country over party when I voted for Trump. Because he wasn’t Hillary. And I’ll put country first and vote for him again. Because he’s not Biden. He’s not the choice I’d like to make. But he’s the choice I’m given.
Says the sockpuppet.
That should be happy sock puppet…
“Trump is truly one of the stupidest men to have ever held national office.”
Yeah, remember when he was worried that moving the Marines from Okinawa to Guam might cause the island to tip over? Oh wait…
Or when he said that murder is the leading cause of homicide? Oh wait…
“Now it acts like a cult. Brainwashed. Sycophantic. Psychotic.”
That is quite clearly a textbook example of projection, Lars, quite clearly…
“I am truly disgusted with a huge percentage of this country for continuously worshipping and prostrating themselves to this malignant, moronic, incompetent, narcissistic, sociopathic, con-artist.”
You are referring to Quid Pro Joe, no?
You’re too easy, Lars.
Weird how that man beat their supposedly smart candidate.
Dont think it’s the country. I think you are talking about people here. Last year or so, some older posters dont post here anymore. There is a reason for that, wont go there. But lars, you enjoy riling up this crowd.
I think you could have used “imbecile, cretin, or chucklehead” in there somewhere also Mr. Commissar. Seriously though, he was pretty much misquoted. He was asking questions about the UV light, and also about “injecting disinfectant into the body”. Where I’m from we ask questions to gain more information. Were the questions asked in the most eloquent fashion? No. Did they sound stupid and uninformed? Yes. There is no reason to twist his words around and yell “tRump told people to drink bleach!!11!!”. Later on in the brief when talking about cleaners (with acting Undersecretary Bryant not with Dr. Brix by the way), Trump said “It wouldn’t be through injection.” There are scientific studies about using UV blood irradiation, and vaporized hydrogen peroxide inside the body. Is this what Trump was referring to? Who knows. Did he sound like a fool? Yes.
I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes:
All that hate’s gonna burn you up, kid.
-Col. Andy Tanner
What so infuriates Lars and other liberal “chuckleheads” is that “…one of the stupidest men to have ever held national office,” keeps outwitting them at every turn despite his awkward manner of public speaking. Lars thinks ol’ Poe’s totally in the tank for Trump, but then, that’s how Lars thinks, in what I call an “all or nothing” fashion–it’s either “all this” or “all that” with no middle ground which is characteristic of his own Trump derangement. I was critical of Trump in my writings here even when he was running for office but I supported HIM to oppose HER. And, even then, I was complaining about him being painful to listen to. That hasn’t changed: the man IS a terrible public speaker. But where fools like Lars and the other Trump haters go totally off the tracks is in confusing a disjointed, rambling, maddeningly repetitive manner of speaking with a disordered, defective mind. Liberals love eloquence, even when it’s empty eloquence as with their beloved Obama, or even evil eloquence as with so many socialist pied pipers. Career politicians hone speaking skills as a critical component of their path to political power–Obama is the textbook study of that. Donald Trump is not a career politician. Poe’s a small town guy whose career took him into every major city in this country and he lived in a few. He hated all of them except perhaps San Antonio and San Diego back before they became megalopolis’s. As such, what a man says and how he says it matters little to me–it’s what he does that I’m watching. In that regard, Trump has done better than I expected on most issues so I’ll be voting for him again and urging you who read here to do likewise. Lars is right in one regard: I’d vote for Trump even if he hadn’t done a good job, simply to keep the socialist lunatics in the Democrat party from taking power and continuing their agenda of “fundamentally transforming” this country. Folks like Lars fail to grasp that if you want the people to vote for… Read more »
It took a global pandemic to bring the economy back to the days before “the stupidest [person] to ever hold the office of President” came into office.
Nicely said. And pithy (no, I do not write with a lisp).
I think a good portion of those who voted for Trump did so solely as a vote against Hillary. And all of the GOP primary candidates (12?) other than Trump thought that being not-Hillary was all they really needed (that and their personal wonderfullness). But Trump also had at least one policy, immigration being the main one, that the others did not even mention, and that is what won the primary and general elections for Trump. It is probably what will also get him reelected. It sure isn’t his eloquence.
I’m sure there is a whole lot of people, me included, that voted for Trump mainly because we didn’t want more Liberal Justices on the Supreme Court.
G-Spot nails it for the win!
Well said. Difficult though it may be I still would rather listen to Trump than to “W”. For some reason listening to “W” was like listening to feedback for me. Your mileage may vary.
Unlike some, though, we seem to be able to discern the difference between content and presentation.
So just WHERE IS your “Empirical Evidence” to prove what you’re saying?
Speaking of cults, your worship at the alter of the left wing is glaringly obvious. I guess you and ever other Liberal in the country missed this part of the press conference;
“It wouldn’t be through injections, almost a cleaning and sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work, but it certainly has a big effect if it’s on a stationary object”
Everything you claim in the other side is clearly evident in you.
Arrrgghhh! An actual Quote! No fair!
I’m not holding my breath waiting on a reply from Lars now that I have proven that he is full of shit.
I just wrote and deleted a long reply accurately describing your drivel.
That should piss everybody off.
Oh, I can write a short and concise response to virtually all of Poodle’s lengthy commentary at TAH. Here it is in 5 words:
“Verbose male bovine organic fertilizer.”
I can be even more concise if required, but then the response gets a bit crude.
IMHO YOU “Commissar” are one such empty person who always has to force his opinion and dogma down everyone else’s throats and insult those of us who refuse to accept it.
Or as Metallica put it more succinctly; “The empty can rattles the most.”
Another complete waste of time. Now there are two trolls to ignore. Waste of time to read, but slightly less time wasted scrolling past them to see if something cogent follows. Not this time.
You guys that feed the trolls irritate me almost as much as the trolls themselves.
/rant, for now
“You guys that feed the trolls…”
We’re in quarantine. Nothing much to do except troll the trashfish.
Feel free to write a long, entertaining, and informative comment. I think the management will go along.
Hey! I only rant about trolls a time or two each year. Don’t want to waste a second one so soon.
Sorry, it was to easy.
‘sOK. The difference is that I get over my irritation with y’all in a matter of minutes, with myself for getting sucked into another time waste takes a few minutes longer. The trolls? Not worth being irritated with at all. That is what they seek, and I am certainly not giving them what they want.
Steeleyl,
I direct your attention to the TAH FNG tab the top of the page. Lots of good information there. More specifically:
I appreciate and approve of spirited banter among commenters here, and I well know sometimes discussions can get heated. I stay hands-off until it becomes necessary for me not to be.
Your passive-aggressive trolling has become tiresome.
If you wish to continue to comment here, and I sincerely hope you do, dial that towering intellect back and contribute in a more positive manner. That was both part sarcasm and not a request. I think you can figure out which.
Around here, trolls get one warning. Consider this as it.
AW1
Ed, now don’t you go bein’ too hard on SteeleyI. After all, he’s just tryin’ to show us that what us knuckle draggin’ Neanderthals here at TAH say about him makes him no never-mind.
Well, he’s convinced ol’ Poe–an’ it only took him seventeen comments to do it.
I’m a believer…
Brother Poe, do you know how I know when you’re FOS?
*grin*
“That was both part sarcasm and not a request.”
At the risk of getting my own hand slapped, dare I suggest that may be a bit too opaque? Perhaps something a bit more Anlgo-Saxon and monosyllabic in nature might be more appropriate? Repeated?
Just a modest proposal, is all.
Thanks for the input- I think he’ll get it. My last line is pretty direct.
AW1:
Have a look over my comments and the responses. You will find, once again, that I always state a substantive point of view and respond to counter-argument in kind. You will also find that I respond to insult in kind.
If I am a troll because I state opinions counter to the majority view here, then I proudly accept the title. I would think that people would enjoy debate. If your goal is to simply create an echo chamber in which the loudest and most insulting voices can drown out any opposing view, then I will willingly withdraw.
Look at SgtM’s posts. He started this when he said “Your welcome. Now go do something to benefit society, other than orange man bad. I do, thank me every time you stick food in your mouth. Non essential.” He made no statements, had no argument, made no points. He just insulted me, and continued to do so for several posts.
Look at every other post made in response to me. You will find that I respond to debate with debate, and insult with insult. Please point out to me where I insulted someone else first. If you can, I will apologize to that person and the blog as a whole..
Just addressing your ridiculous argument that Trump wants us to inject Lysol. Make a stupid assumption get a snide comment.
First and foremost, Trump has not “recommended” anyone put any substance into their bodies without medical supervision to treat this virus, period. Speculation about research into what kills this virus inside or outside the body is hardly a medical prescription for any treatment. Oh, and Wicked Wanda (a D-rat who puts money into Trump resistance outfits) and who killed her husband by feeding him fish tank cleaner is now being investigated by homicide detectives in Arizona over the death of her husband. They have requested the tape of her interview with the Free Beacon reporters wherein she admitted she didn’t tell hubby she put the poisonous to humans aquarium cleaner in his drink.
P.S. The Steeley-eye is likely a paid troll. He and Squidward seem to march to the same pre-arranged tunes. AW1, I would just save space and replace all their comments about Trump with “Orange Man Bad!!!.” That would save us from having to decipher their insipid blather.
rgr769, you’re an old hand here and well respected. You know I won’t go and edit comments without cause. Lars is a known quality, and I just warned Steeleyl. This would be a very boring place if everyone thought the same. Everyone is welcome to express their opinions, and should expect reactions from the crew. Some cross the line and I have to administer some stick and rudder, and that’s fine. Goes with the territory. I am watching.
“This would be a very boring place if everyone thought the same.”
Or expressed it the same.
Although, come to think of it, a little judicious editing (while leaving the original drivel available to compare) might be entertaining.
Put the good idea fairy back in the cage, timactual. I’m pretty much swamped as it is.
AW1
My point is that the president, while speaking at a nationally (globally) televised press conference, should not speculate like this. He should perhaps allow actual experts opine on what treatments are on the horizon. There are many dangers to his speaking this way. I don’t think that many people will actually drink or inject Lysol, but decision makers at the FDA may feel pressure to green light solutions that are not ready.
I am not a paid troll. I just think, as I said in my original post, that the president should not have made that statement publicly.
I find it interesting that absolutely no one here has responded to my actual points or line of argument, but resorted instead to insults and deciding that I am a troll.
“My point is that the president, while speaking at a nationally (globally) televised press conference, SHOULD NOT speculate like this.”
“I just think, as I said in my original post, that the president SHOULD NOT have made that statement publicly.”
Um, last time I checked, those are opinions, personally held beliefs, not facts. Those who responded to you did so with their opinions of your opinions.
So, let me get this straight: Your opinions carry intellectual heft and value but the opinions of those who respond to you are merely folksy, ungrammatical and of no value.
That about sum it up, Mr. High and Mighty?
Please feel free to educate this benighted old man…
Yawwwwnnn.
Just more of your insipid blather. A further waste of electrons.
I work in the “wow!” Technology field. It is sometimes difficult to translate Geek into English, highly technical and esoteric research into layman terms.
Our free market system produces amazing technological breakthroughs, over and over and over again. It is important to remember that, because we eventually overcome our challenges through the hard work and profit-seeking of individuals. “Folks are working on amazing stuff!” Is valid morale building. Of course it won’t all work out. Most of it won’t. So what? Some will, and a few will do so spectacularly.
Now, there are some folks who deal in misery, who object to that sort of morale building. They want folks believing that only the right leaders can handle the need to share misery around, because you can’t make things better for yourself, so rely on the Party to take away from those who do well, and thus make your life perhaps no better, but at least those other folks won’t be any better off. The Party doesn’t actually help anyone but themselves, so they can’t allow -any- discussion of self except in negatives. Anyone who challenges that false reality must be destroyed. No hope allowed but the Party, or whatever it is being called at the moment.
Sick.
Another pair of items to ponder, that have profound impact on the current damn-panic:
People who panic will almost always go to absurd lengths to post-hoc rationalize their unreasoning gland-driven reactions as somehow appropriate.
Panic is contagious. The panic-prone spread panic as part of their attempt to justify their behavior, as they feel better when surrounded by similarly misbehaving and non-rational folk.
“No no no! You are stupid! Fear this! WHAT I AM DOING IS RIGHT! You are stupid! Fear! FEAR!”
Go lemmings, go!
That, 11B Mailclerk, is why you make sure there is a doorway or an alley to duck into and get out of their way. The thundering herd of lemmings, panic-stricken or otherwise, has the same blistering effect as the incendiary shockwave of a small nuke. If you’re in a small, inset culvert off to the side (e.g., an alley), the worst part is when they attempt to suck the brains out of your head.
I have no Idea what the subject is about… I just like talking to hear my brains rattle.
Commissar is my bestest, newest friend!

A whole bunch of acts that suggest the haters are -very- wrong.
Thanks for that. Good to know.
I hate it when they fight…….that’s why we can’t nice things….
Nobody who watches the MSM, especially just the evening news, knows that Trump is up there taking questions for a while, sometimes HOURS. No president has done that before. When you’re giving somebody hours of source material a week, they can cut, edit, and mis-contextualize all kinds of stuff.
He’s not going off a script either. Apparently the media expects the President to be an expert on every topic, all the time, with no preparation. These press conferences aren’t like ones done for Democrats where they get the list of questions ahead of time.
Dem. press conference holders don’t need no steenkin’ prep notes, they *are* experts on every subject known to man. Just like Prof. Irwin Corey. When you are as ignorant as the media every hack with a (D) after his name is an expert.
Earlier today, somewhere, I came across a 1 hr.+ video of a doctor explaining and demonstrating a method for cleansing the blood with UV light. The method has evidently been around since the 1920s but was dropped when safer and more effective methods (penicillin) of fighting infection came along.
Sounded legit to me. Creepy though.
I remember back in he mid 80’s visiting a hospital in Ologapo City, PI. They use to reuse surgical gloves and after they were washed, they hung then m out and used UV lights to disinfect them. Never knew what the incidence of nosocomial (hospital acquired) infections was, but it struck me as being really odd. It is an accepted practice
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultraviolet_germicidal_irradiation
Current practice for end case room cleaning at my hospital involves a very large UV light that is brought into a room and activated on a timer after the room is empty of people. We also have a small desktop unit that can be used to disinfect cell phones, hospital badges, watches, etcetera. It’s about the size of a cookie sheet (24X18”)and about 3” tall.
And when people tut tut using lights as a treatment on people, I ask them what is the standard of care treatment for newborns with jaundice.

Don’t they use UV in bowling alleys to
sanitize the shoes? I recall seeing
those purple lamps with shoes on them.
