Police: Man arrested after exchanging gunfire with Church’s Chicken employee

by: Melissa Moon
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Around a dozen bullets both inside and outside the Church’s Chicken on Summer Avenue after police say a man got into a shootout with a female employee.

Police said the suspect Ledarrius Stokes had been at the restaurant earlier with his girlfriend who works there. She called the store and told them he was coming back to shoot up the place and then came back and locked all of the employees inside.

Stokes allegedly fired numerous shots through the drive thru window at one particular employee, who fired back. She then went out and started shooting in the parking lot.

There were at least 10 people inside the restaurant at the time along with eight cars in the drive thru.

We talked by phone with a customer who left the store right before the shooting. He said even before the shots were fired there were problems inside the restaurant.

“Everybody was mad. Some employees were accusing each other of stealing money from the cash register and people were walking to the door with their orders messed up.”

According to witnesses, the man was injured in a shootout with bank security guards. Police have indicated more than one suspect was involved in the attempted robbery, but they haven’t specified how many. An unoccupied vehicle believed to be used in the crime, located a few blocks away from the bank, was seized by police.

Two inconvenienced, an unknown number in the wind, and a DRT Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. One wonders what the AZ homeowner was threatened with.

Be nice to the person at the window.
Smile and thank them for your order.
Hold that smile as you drive away slowly.

Didn’t even need to see the picture to know that Claw and the Wheel would be needed. DaHell is a convicted felon doing with a firearm anyhow. That’s against the law, isn’t it? Not a bad score to end up the work week.

Wrong picture? Nah ‘beans, you just seeing double trouble for dirtbags. A copy of The Works of that Great Equalizer, Samuel Colt, to add to the joy of seeing the Works of his most Saintly John Moses Browning (Howitzer be his name). More proof that AW1Ed loves us and wants us to be happy.

Even (especially?) in Chandler, AZ, make sure yours is the only story told to the police.

“He threatened me”

Hmmmmmmmm……….

Claw

Memphis? Shoot-em-up at a chicken joint? Where was Turd Bolling and the Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency (National and International) when they were really needed? Anyway, the Whiz Wheel®™ spins up a base score of 20 in “Honor” of Ledarrius Stokes.

Well I guess Church’s Fried Chicken just isn’t hiring the best managers anymore if employees are so upset that they are arguing in front of the customers, accusing each other of stealing money, and having their boyfriends some down to “shoot up the place”!
Wow, over 100 rounds fired!!! That is a heck of a lot of reloads. Them folks in Memphis believe in being ready for the Apocalypse… even at work! I know I am conservative when I only carry two reloads, but mine are .45ACP so I expect to hit with my shots not like some 9mm carriers who think rounds down range solve the problem.

Ok, not sure what I was reading…it only says a dozen…which is much more realistic.
