A little something for those among us who needed a parachute to jump out of their airplane.*grin*

Teen accused of stealing friend’s gun, later shooting him with it

Sarah Reese
ROWN POINT — A Gary teen was arrested Friday on charges alleging he stole a man’s handgun and later used it to shoot the man after he and his father showed up to try to retrieve the firearm.

Antonio M. Brown, 17, was in a car with the man and three others Jan. 17 when he asked to see the gun, which wasn’t loaded at the time, court records allege.

The man handed Brown the gun, and Brown got out of the vehicle and pointed the gun at those still seated in the car, records state.

The gun’s owner told police he told the driver to take him home, court records say.

He then told his father that Brown, whom he had known since middle school, stole his gun, documents state.

The man and his father drove back to the area of 47th Avenue and Jefferson Street, where Brown allegedly took the gun.

They spotted Brown walking near 48th Avenue and Adams Street and pulled up alongside him, records state.

The man’s father rolled down his window, and Brown turned and began firing the gun at them, records state. The man told police he didn’t know how Brown obtained ammunition.

The man’s father told police he pulled his own gun and returned fire before driving away. The son was shot in the arm, and the father drove him to Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus in Gary for treatment.

Armed dad stops carjackers, follows them through Old Brooklyn neighborhood

By Kelly Kennedy
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A father from Old Brooklyn took crime-fighting into his own hands, and it has the neighborhood talking.

The man, who asked not to be identified, was returning home with his wife on Tuesday night when he noticed two men trying to break into his cars.

The father, knowing his daughter was home alone, took action.

“I had two pizzas on my lap, so I kind of threw them up on the dash,” he said.

As they approached him and his wife, the man pulled a gun on the suspects.

The two young men ran off. So, the dad hopped in his truck and followed them from his home on Buechner Avenue.

Surveillance video from his neighbor’s camera shows the man trailing the suspect.

“They were kind of like jumping through the yards, so I was catching a glimpse of them here and they would disappear for a second.”

He caught up to the crooks at an auto repair shop, then they ran and jumped into a waiting Chevy Traverse.

“I think we’re more angry than anything, it’s just like almost violating.”

“I think if we want to keep it a good neighborhood we’re gonna have to fight.”

“In the wind trifecta”? Yeah maybe. Or we could score it a future full house with a pair of dumbasses leaking fluids and 3 of a kind that will show back up…eventually. Just a little curious how the reporter knew the Detroit perp was 20. And it is obvious that the hood rats were out in force…again!

Those that jumped from perfectly good airplanes at higher than diving board level needs a parachute…that is, if they want to jump out of another perfectly good airplane. And as nice as the FG 42 may have been, I would still take the designs of his most Saintliness JMB and his B.A.R.

Bring on the phonies…and the conceal carry for ladies.

That first story is a real head-scratcher. Too many WTF moments. And I ain’t linking to the NYSlime to read the rest of the propaganda.

Actually, that link is not to a “NYSlimes” article, it is a link to NWTimes.com, which is a Shotcago, IL publication/website. The head-scratcher in that the article, which is verbatim what AW1 posted, is that the son was packing a pistol, even though unloaded, since he and the shooter were once classmates in middle school. That means they were both under 21 and prohibited both state and federal law from possessing handguns. From the mugshot of the 17 year old shooter and those that follow of other recent area arrests, I would speculate that everyone involved in said incident was of the non-melanin challenged variety. Scroll through the mugshots and you will see what I mean. So, daddy was letting his 17 or 18 year old son have a handgun (even if unloaded) that sonny had a habit of handing to his homies. Looks like a formula for some future felonies to me. But in Shotcago, this is apparently what the yutes do for walking around money instead of a paper route.
