Davis P380 Saturday Night Special

Florida cop shoots 1, injures another during botched traffic stop

By Bradford Betz
A Jacksonville cop fatally shot one man and injured another while attempting to stop a vehicle that was driving the wrong way down a street Sunday night, investigators said.

The incident unfolded around 9:20 p.m. after Officer N.E. Lawson tried to pull over a vehicle that was going south in a northbound lane, the Florida Times-Union reported.

A brief police chase ensued before the vehicle crashed into another car, injuring two people, then slammed into a pedestrian bridge, Jacksonville Police Chief T.K. Waters told reporters during a news conference.

After the crash, Lawson approached the vehicle. An exchange took place, and the officer “ended up firing his service weapon several times,” Waters said.

I did two tours in Jax, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, and didn’t leave anything there I need. So for today it looks like one DRT, and a trifecta of “inconvenienced” who richly deserve that which they received.

Traffic cop; “Sir this is a one way street.”

Driver; “I’m only going one way.”

PEW…PEW…PEW!

Nothing says “I Love You” like a regular beating.

Cute little pocket pea shooter. Looks like it would make a fine paper weight. Prolly works real good at Jack Ruby range.

Davis pocket pistols are junk. They are right up there in quality with Raven Arms of Baldwin Park, CA. But they make a perfect drop gun, when you need one.

That Alabama father adheres to the old “I brought you into this world, and I can take you out again” philosophy of Southern parenting.

A story worthy of Foxworthy: If you’ve ever been shot by your father while beating your girlfriend with a dog chain…

A 380 Saturday Night Special? Used to be that most of them were 22’s, usually had some electrical tape somewhere, pealing paint, and often no grips. It was the electrical tape accessorizing that got me.
