News From Iran

Iran is spinning more centrifuges.  After all, they have to have some way to celebrate the anniversary of taking hostages at the US embassy, don’t they?  It’s only been – what? – 40 years. Gotta party!

From the article: TEHRAN, Iran — Iran on Monday broke further away from its collapsing 2015 nuclear deal with world powers by doubling the number of advanced centrifuges it operates, linking the decision to U.S. President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the agreement over a year ago.

The announcement — which also included Iran saying it now has a prototype centrifuge that works 50 times faster than those allowed under the deal — came as demonstrators across the country marked the 40th anniversary of the 1979 U.S. Embassy takeover that started a 444-day hostage crisis. – article.

It isn’t just celebrating taking over the US embassy. There is some unrest fermenting within Iran, as indicated in this paragraph:  However, this year’s commemoration of the embassy seizure comes as Iran’s regional allies in Iraq and Lebanon face widespread protests. The Iranian Consulate in Karbala, Iraq, a holy city for Shiites, saw a mob attack it overnight. Violence there killed three people and wounded 19, Iraqi officials said. – article

Keep a weather eye on that place. Iran is having difficulty selling its oil, needs money, and is facing local unrest.

O/T, but reason for not voting Democrat… progressive single-payer healthcare goes political: Brit NHS declares it won’t treat sexist or “racist” people.

Holy sh*t. WhatTF is wrong with the Brits?!
(That’s rhetorical, if we started a list we’d run out of time)

What is wrong with the British?

They decided to stop being British.

They are now a pale shadow of their former selves, hollowed out, crumbling, and waiting for the storm that knocks them down.

Some will persist. Perhaps, they may throw off their betraying masters and regain Liberty.

      I rather doubt it.

Wonder how good of a standard of living the Iranians would have the the Peace Loving Mullahs of that Peace Loving Religion would spend money on something besides hate for the Great Satan?

Nuke the mofos (Mullahs) from orbit, then ask…who wants to be next? Chop the head off the snake, the snake will die.

  4. If we drop some ordinance on their Hq, the mullah can say Iran all the way home just to say I’m sorry, please let me stay, Iran all the way. Gee, that would make a Boss uptempo song.

It took us three years to invent atomic weapons, make enough fissile material for three, and use them. We had to invent all the engineering for every aspect of atomic weapons.

Apparently the Mullahs are not quite up to the task, despite oodles of money, decades of time, and available on-line info and for-hire expertise.

Which puts them solidly behind the impoverished hermit-kingdom of the DPRK.

    That’s gotta burn…

    Xerxes weeps.
