Don’t Believe in Man-Made Global Warming? You’re Delusional!

| November 2, 2019

Governor Cuomo launched into a climate change-related statement during an interview. Certain weather events “were not” experienced in New York before climate change. Hurricanes? Not experienced in New York before. Severe weather events experienced recently? Ditto, not before climate change.

However, in 1635, a hurricane made landfall in the Massachusetts Bay colony. In 1667, a hurricane struck the mid-Atlantic states. In 1693, a hurricane hit Virginia and impacted inlets as far as Fire Island… In New York.

In October 1743, a powerful storm hit the eastern seaboard and impacted the Northeast. It apparently was a week hurricane or strong tropical storm.

One common denominator among these dates? They occurred during the Mini Ice Age. Perhaps these powerful storms that we are experiencing all over the country, to include New York, are a symptom of our either being at the beginning of a new little ice age, or about to be in one.

From The Washington Examiner:

“Anyone who questions extreme weather and climate change is just delusional at this point. We have seen, in the state of New York, what everyone has seen. We’ve seen these weather patterns that we never had before,” Cuomo said.

“We didn’t have hurricanes, we didn’t have superstorms, we didn’t have tornadoes. This is a storm that came up just overnight, dropped about 5 inches of rain, and it was, literally, a matter of life and death for people,” he continued.

The governor relayed the story of one rescue he witnessed in which emergency officials saved a family of five, including an infant, from a flooded a home.

“It was a very dangerous and very precarious situation,” Cuomo said. “This is a recurring pattern, and anyone who is still in denial is making a very serious mistake.”

From his mouth:

Those of us that don’t buy into the man-made global warming narrative are not “climate deniers”. We’re climate realists. The real deniers are those who insist that the planet is warming up and that people are the cause.

The Washington Examiner has more on this story. You could read a list of “pre climate change” hurricanes on hurricaneville. As you go down the list, you read about other New England hurricanes/tropical storms. New England is mentioned here, as they’re in the same vicinity as New York.

History.
Reading.
Not too complicated; It’s the black stuff on the paper. (Or on the screen, for those who asked,”How many ‘e’s in ‘library’ “.)

Dumbfucks.

Cuomo is an idiot.

We’re in a grand solar minimum. NASA SOHO’s orbiting observatory records daily images of the Sun and the sunspot count. https://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/sunspots/

The sunspot cycle is weaker and weaker every time it starts and ends. Expect worse weather and stock up accordingly.

Here’s a list from Wiki of the hurricanes that have hit New York, going back to the 17th century. 🙂 If Cuomo could be less full of –it, he’d refuse.

Looks like they left one out. On November 3, 1861, a hurricane reached New York City with torrential rains lasting 20 hours. It brought out thousands of rats which residents chased with their hunting dogs. The Cuomo family is unfortunate living proof that many of the rats got away to reproduce..

VAFFANCULO, Coumo. Sei un stonzone di prima classe!

6 years at Ft Drum, NY in the early 80’s. We had climate change every late May/early June when it stopped snowing and every September when it started again. Only two seasons existed: winter and early fall. What was memorable was the December 1980 monthly record of 108 inches of lake effect snow off of Lake Ontario.

I had cross country skis strapped to my car every winter just in case.

Ex-PH2

I had climate change right in my own yard this week. Went from warm and sunny to cold and snowy, up to 5.25 inches of that nasty stuff, and now it’s back to cold and no snow. Just yanks you around!

UpNorth

Today, we had, in order, sunrise, sunshine, cloudy, rain and snow, snow, a little hail, rain, snow, sunshine and sunset. Just a typical fall day in Michigan.

Grew up there. You missed the Winter of 47. Old timers still use it as the Bench Mark.

How in the everloving hell do these idiots get elected? Have they been lying to people for so long and so often that it is now just as natural as breathing? A few years back a person had to dig out an Encyclopedia Britannica or ask an old person for answers. Now-a-days a body can just punch a few buttons and get all sorts of sources. What’s even scarier is these idiots that vote them in.

Man puuulleeeezzzee! We have had climate change/weather change since before the atmosphere formed. And we will continue to have that. Hell yesterday I had all 4 seasons in one day. A weather forecaster is the only job in the world where you can be wrong most of the time and still get paid AND keep your job. ‘Specially if you are a personable cutie pie of either gender.

No wonder daTrumpster changed his Home of Record. Had to get far away from your stupid ass.

That and the ways that they have voting rigged for the D-rats in nearly every major city.

To paraphrase the old saying.

You can fool all the New Yorkers some of the time
You can fool some of the New Yorkers all the time
but you can’t fool all the New Yorkers all the time.

He is fooling all the morons and free loaders all the time.

Hey Cuomo, you can’t both be Fredo. Stop trying to compete on who the bigger idiot is.

King Cuomo I is just another commie in selfish asshole’s clothing.

Climate experts have it better than weather forecast. Every climate forecast has been completely wrong. Temps nowhere near as high as models predict, there’s still ice in the arctic, the glaciers are still here and children still experience snow. Oh, and polar bears are doing just fine. But somehow these “experts” can’t be criticized? If you had a doctor who was wrong only half as much as climate experts you’d fire his sorry butt.

George V

To finish my own comment… At least weather forecasters are correct a reasonable percentage of the time.

A Proud Infidel®™️

If they cannot accurately predict what the weather will be even a few weeks from now, then why are we supposed to believe predictions of what it will be decades from now coming from college flunkouts like Al Gore Junior who make multiple millions off of snake oil enviro-scams?

The hurricane of 1938 raised particular hell in Vermont. I am pretty sure N E N Y
didn’t fare well either.

Read what the Wiki link from PH2 above says that storm did to New Yawk. It destroyed almost 9,000 structures, killed 60 people and injured hundreds more.

As a local meteorologist told us about 10 years ago, that was due to the loss of the monsoonal flow out of the Gulf of Mexico.

I can vouch for the heat, because my mother lived and worked in Chicago at that time, and she said that people were sleeping outside in the parks because of the heat. Being close to Lake Michigan apparently did nothing to reduce the misery, but no one did anything bad to anyone else.

The loss of the monsoonal Gulf of Mexico flow was responsible for the drought and the Dust Bowl that resulted, but none of the politicians in WDC believed the Dust Bowl was really happening, until a massive load of dust-laden from the Southwest blew into Washington while Congress was in session.

Some time back I read on Anthony Watt’s climate website (wattsupwiththat.com) that some years back NOAA adjusted the US records of temps of the 1930’s downward. “Adjustments” they said, “to ensure accuracy”. What they didn’t expect was that some scientists kept the data. Without those temp adjustments the arguments that of all the recent years being the hottest ever in the USA are just wrong.

So, if we who don’t buy their crap are delusional, what are they? Typically, those who fear a threat which is not there are called paranoid. Their religious fervor at controlling man-made factors which could not possibly contribute to the weather while ignoring the obvious is foolish at best.

Meanwhile, many of us have always been good stewards of Earth just because it is the right thing to do. We will continue to do so in spite of their hysteria. AND concurrently be prepared for as many eventualities as possible. Like the changing seasons.

I’m wondering when they will get back to sacrificing virgins like the ancient Indian tribes did when the rains didn’t come…….

Personally, I’m all for letting the Antifa and eco-kook types have human sacrifices as long as it’s them doing it to each other!

“these weather patterns that we never had before”

No. We may never have *seen* these weather patterns before, but our records only go back a short time. Even a hundred years ago weather was measured and recorded in only a very small portion of the Earth’s surface. Or Atmosphere. There are still large gaps.

Slow Joe

I just dropped a bomb in my toilet while reading this. It was so big, that it changed my climate.
Dedicated to Cuomo.
