Two one and oh, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. None in the wind again, either. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

Good to know that 2 bags of trash have been taken care of FIRST thing this morning. The Highland Park gig is a repeat from Friday, but that’s OK. I “Like” repeated Happy Ending Stories.

That pretty pink pistol will still pump out some pellets and perforate your putz.

5th/77th: I suspect I’m being trolled with the pink Walther…

I did get to sell my PPK/S 22LR at a gunz show, though, and return the funds to Mrs. GB.

Roger that GB. After reading of your experience with the Walther Company, I wouldn’t use anything they got for anything more than a paperweight. Glad you dumped that junk and hope Mrs. GB ended up with at least your initial purchase price. No way you could put a price on the aggravation you went thru.

Graybeard

In all fairness I have to say that the service department did try to make it right.

I’m thinking I just got a lemon – but at the gunz show I did have no problem ignoring the Walthers… Once burned, twice shy.

I got most of the purchase price back, but got beat out by a ‘horse trader’ who turned around and sold if for what I bought it for. >sigh<

David

Gotta figure they aren’t going to give you full retail, especially when they have to sell it as used.

Graybeard

Roger that.
Glad you were on target.

Like the GA writer’s nom de plume, “Cabbagestalk”. Put a smile on my face just reading that. And with the FGSs 2/1/0, the day is starting out fine.

To those who like to remind there are no absolute rights under our Constitution stories like these remind me that without the second amendment the most basic aspect of any right, absolute or not is in jeopardy.

When we lose the right to take arms against those who would kill us over a few possessions we lose the most fundamental right of all. To protect ourselves in our own domain.

These stories make me happy that those who would have been victimized are not victims as a result of the second amendment. These stories remind me that the essence of a free people is not requiring government permission to keep and bear arms.

They should remind us all that every “reasonable” restriction is usually anything but reasonable and leads to ever more “reasonable” restrictions until there is no room for any more restrictions because the fundamental right has been taken without any constitutional convention. It dissipates because of ever weaker, ever more dependent citizens who are easily frightened into conceding their rights to an ever more despotic and corrupt Federal Government.

Bad shoot in Dayton. A pink made in China porcalin Lodge skillet and the pink Walther would be a nice set for Ex Ph-2. FYI. Lodge makes their cast iron skillets in the USA, BUT the porcalin ones are made in China for Lodge. Was going to stop in their plant/store in 2010 when I drove up to the USS IWO Jima Class ship reunion in Tennessee but decided not to.
