UFOs, the Navy and the Musician

| October 26, 2019

Well, people, when the military teams up with rock musicians to explore new technologies like the molecular structure of metals, you know things are on the table toward building interstellar spacecraft.

Much like the universe, the military’s affiliation with alien-related subject matter appears to be ever-expanding.

In 2017, the Pentagon confirmed the existence of a program that existed from 2007 to 2012, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, that was dedicated solely to investigating reports of UFO sightings.

The Navy then verified the authenticity of a declassified 2015 video, released by former Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge’s To the Stars Academy, featuring a bizarre encounter between Navy pilots and a high-speed, low-altitude unidentified flying object.

This April, the Navy confirmed it was drafting a fleet-wide message to establish guidelines for pilots and other military personnel to report UFO sightings, the culmination of a surge in what the Navy called a series of intrusions by advanced aircraft on Navy carrier strike groups. – article

I have no issues with this. If DeLonge can contribute something worthwhile and we benefit from it, it’s fine by me.

There is one thing they should consider: those “intruders” may not be mechanical. They might be unidentified critters, a species that can and do act independently as shown in those Navy videos of pilots chasing UFOs that just stop dead and hover in place.  https://www.navytimes.com/off-duty/military-culture/2019/04/25/aliens-ahoy-navy-developing-guidelines-on-reporting-ufo-sightings/

There are birds that can do that, too, as well as dragonflies, which are experts at it.  When I photograph birds, I watch them fly.  Male goldfinches squabbling over turf in the bush willows will chase each other at full speed, and when they turn, they corner like they’re on rails, without slowing down. Falcons can dive straight down at enormous speed and come to an abrupt halt in the blink of an eye.

That isn’t alien technology, and we don’t have any human pilot who could withstand the enormous pressures produced in something like that. The closest we can get to how a dragonfly operates is the helicopter and that can’t move abruptly from one spot to another like the dragonfly does. I do not know how fast the meganeura could fly, but just because it’s a lot bigger than its modern cousins, it does not mean that 3-foot wingspan didn’t rock the Carboniferous.

So is this partnership with a musician a good thing? Why not?  Some real good stuff may come out of it such as improved strength of materials and improved communications…. maybe even warp drive.

We “borrowed” portions of it for our high school band marching cadence.

Neil Peart of Rush. YYZ, Exit … Stage Left.

-much- better.

This is stupid.

Nothing good comes from doing “research” with people who don’t even understand the scientific method. This dude from Blink 182 is clearly biased, thinking and “researching” from a position of Obligated Reasoning rather than Objective Reasoning.

No amount of evidence, or lack thereof, convince people like that to remain open-minded to possibilities other than aliens from extraterrestrial civilizations.

It’s like arguing with a lefty:
-President Trump has been investigated for 3 years and no evidence of collusion with Russia has ever been found.
-Yeah, but this time we have a diplomat who will testify to Trump interference in Ukraine, which will unravel the trail of evidence to Trump’s crimes by next week!
-Sure dude. Like every week for the last 3 years? Aren’t you opened to the possibility that perhaps there is something else going on here?
-No. It is obvious Trump is a criminal and hates women!

Come on, SJ.

Admit it.

You enjoyed Skunk Baxter playing our National Anthem on guitar and the Iron Butterfly Drum Solo.

😉😊

The Stranger

Wasn’t Skunk also a defense contractor? There is precedent here. Also, I believe that Brian May has a doctorate in Astrophysics.

ninja

Yes.

He is featured in the first video above

Hey Slow Joe, you just spouted off facts that will likely make some UC Berzerkely Seagull’s head explode yet again!

The brown acid is what caused the song In The Garden of Eden to become In A Gadda Da Vida.

Typical gubmint spending of taxpayer money. Why don’t they just call up Agent K @ MIB. Ex is right UFOs are just Bug Buggies.
