Man jumped out a University Place window to make getaway. He got shot when he returned

By: Craig Sailor,
UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – A man jumped from the window of a University Place apartment to avoid getting arrested and was shot when he returned hours later, authorities said.

The string of incidents began just before noon Friday when a 65-year-old woman called her brother for help, said Pierce County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Ed Troyer.

The woman’s daughter, 35, and the daughter’s boyfriend allegedly were trafficking in stolen property from the older woman’s home in the 3300 block of 72nd Court West, Troyer said.

The woman was afraid they might hurt her. Her brother called police after she contacted him.

When deputies arrived at the apartment, the boyfriend jumped out a window and ran. Deputies arrested the woman’s daughter and took her to the Pierce County Jail in Tacoma.

Around 2:45 p.m., after deputies had left, the boyfriend returned and “assaulted the brother,” Troyer said.

Suspects knock on apartment door, resident starts firing shots

By Catherine Catoura
ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) — Police responded to a shooting in the early hours of Saturday morning in northwest Atlanta.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. at an apartment complex on the 500 Bishop Street.
The victim told officials, he heard a knock on his door and he then looked out his peep to see if anyone was there. Prior to opening his door, the victim grabbed his firearm for protection.

He then opened his door slightly and saw two to three men standing there with firearms, so the victim started firing.

According to officials, the suspects then fled the scene and no one appeared to be injured during the shooting.

We start the work week. Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, with one achieving ambient temperature, two inconvenienced by local constabulary, and at least two, perhaps three in the wind, likely on the way to the nearest laundromat.

Before the advent of Hitler or Stalin, who took power from the German and Russian people, measures were thrust upon the free legislatures of those countries to deprive the people of the possession and use of firearms, so that they could not resist the encroachments of such diabolical and vitriolic state police organizations as the Gestapo, the Ogpu, and the Cheka.

“……wounds from a singe gunshot.”
Standing that close?

So it’s a 1/2/3, what are we fighting for…?

2am, no one you know at the door, with guns. Yeah, I’d start shooting back first too.

Not a circumstance where opening the door is wise.

2am at my door with a gun in your hand? Better be dropping it off on the doormat for adoption.

Whatcha wanna bet all 3 stories were drug related? Play teh stoopid games to win teh stoopid prizes.

Nice history lesson on gunz control. Too bad the people that need to learn from history won’t see it.

Also nice little James Bond Hide-a-way. Woulda been nicer if you’d shown us a Bond Girl. C’mon Dad, we promise to be good.

IIRC The Lioness in question was merely asking for equal eye candy specific to her gender preference. My suggestion of layered ribeyes iced with worchester (beef cake) was also shot down. How about a double patty melt with bacon and cheese? That may suffice. I have it on good authority that she does “LIKE” bacon.

Barring the posting of those type of beef cakes, I’m sure that the majority of TAHellcats would suffer thru the posting of the Lionesses preferences would be offset by the bringing back of competent handlers of firearms that just happened to have all of their pieces and parts arranged in a satisfactory sequence.

I don’t care if they have parts missing. Eye candy is eye candy. WWs at the shooting range are fine by me. 🙂

Ex-PH2

OH, there was no ‘stop with the gun girls’. I just wanted equal ‘gun boys’, that’s all. Eye candy is eye candy, period.

(Sigh) I guess I’ll have to post my OWN gun guy eye candy.

Who is stopping you from posting your own preferred “range time” stuff? As long as the model is dressed for actual range time, it is unlikely to seriously offend anyone sane.

Almost all the stuff I have seen here is pretty tame. Little of it shows a high risk of “hot brass went -where-?”.

Nothing at all, so far, would have kerfuddled Chaplain Williams. (Then again, he tended to annoy some other chaplains, including his notional uniformed boss.)

You are a pretty good camera jockey. You could post from either perspective, and probably get good feedback.

Gun photos are a whole bunch of technical challenge. Lighting for photos of shiny metal is …. bitchy. A pro showed me some of the tricks of firearm “glamor shots” for gun publications.

Bet you could do it.

AW1Ed has the com on the FGS stuff.

I’m probably too demanding. The finesse involved in finding guys with guns but not protruding abdominal circumferences is both time-consuming and might make me seem like a stalker or some other peculiar denizen of the Dark Side of the interwebs.

I’ll figure it out. Thank you for your support.

Here is another real Monday Feel Good Story: Word on the street in the District of Criminals is that our pal “Nuke ’em” Swallowswell is pulling the plug on his campaign for President.

11B-Mailclerk

He is pulling someone’s plug, anyway.

Oh, ending his campaign.
