Last September, DPAA announced that it had accounted for S1c David B. Edmonston, US Navy. S1c Edmonston was lost at Pearl Harbor, HI, on 7 December 1941.
S1c Edmonston will be buried this weekend – on Saturday, 27 July 2019 – in Portland, Oregon. Regrettably, DPAA does not seem to have posted the specific location for his funeral service or interment.

Corporal Billy Joe Butler will receive full Military Honors as he is returned to his family and laid to rest next to his parents.
A visitation will take Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 5PM-7PM
Funeral Services will take place on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 10AM in the main chapel at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville TX 78028. Internment will follow at Nichols Cemetery with full military honors.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kerrville Funeral Home (830) 895-5111.
PFC William E. Brandenburg — Visitation will be from 10AM-12PM, Service at 12PM at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, Burial with Full Military Honors at Hickory Flat Cemetery, all on 27 July in Hamilton, OH.
CPL Charles S. Lawler — Will be laid to final rest, with Full Military Honors, alongside his mother at 11AM, 27 July at the Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City, MI.
May they Rest In Peace now in their home soil.
