1 dead, 3 arrested in home invasion, Salt Lake police say
By Pat Reavy
SALT LAKE CITY — One man is dead, three people are in custody and another person is being investigated after an attempted home invasion robbery turned deadly Tuesday.
Just after 10 p.m., two 18-year-old men and two 17-year-old boys forced their way into a house at 245 N. Rendon Court (635 West), said Salt Lake police detective Greg Wilking. Investigators believe the group was attempting to take something, but Wilking did not know what or if anything was stolen from the house.
Detectives were looking at the possibility that the home invasion was drug-related, he said.
He did not know Wednesday how many people were in the house at the time.
After the four males ran from the house, they got into a car to drive away. But one of the occupants of the house chased after them and fired several shots at the car as it was driving away, the detective said.
The driver, Abubakar Mohammad, 18, was struck and killed, causing the car to crash near 200 North and 600 West, Wilking said. The other three occupants got out and ran. Police were able to track down the group.
Jordan Ismyale-Lucas Audinette, 18, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of aggravated burglary. Two 17-year olds were booked into Salt Lake Juvenile Detention for investigation of the same charge.

The article implies there was more than one robber, but I’ll count the one until updated. Read the rest of the article here: Fox 57

Busy day Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. One mort, a stellar five inconvenienced, and one in the wind. Not a bad days work.
Our Founding Fathers were proud that Americans were trusted with arms because they knew that only when people are armed could they truly be thought of as free citizens. And that’s where the circle closes. Those who want to deprive you of your right to keep and bear arms are intending to deprive you of your freedom, period. Like the criminals their policies encourage, these elitists know that it is always best to disarm victims before you enslave them. — Charley Reese

More openings in the choir. I “like” it when there are openings for the choir. Wonder if the SLC perps are also members of that religion of peace? With a name like they have, doubt if they are LDS. Winnings been pretty good lately. We may have to issue an extra grog ration.
Gun pr0n at it’s finest; a scary camo rifle and a steely eyed Ginger.
Yeah, if your life is no longer in danger you may be held accountable for shooting at someone fleeing.
A lawyer one time told me that a man owned a convenience store and thieves kept coming in through an open space above the door. So the owner hooked up a bare metal box-spring to a battery and the thief fried himself dead. The owner was charged with murder.
Except in Texas, if it’s to prevent the thieves from taking off with your property.
Setting lethal booby-traps is a no-no, though.
Too much eye makeup, looks like an alley cat.
Two bad shoots. First in Salt Lake City and the second in Columbia SC. In Florida, the bad shoots could lead to jail time.
I will have to find out what bank allows its employees to be armed? I keep thinking of a movie where the idiots tried to rob a Cop Bar, and everyone but the bartender pulled out a gun!
