I just wanted to update folks about the recent changes to our domains.
A couple of years ago it became apparent that using the domains that ended with the .us extensions were going to become problematic for use in our line of work. The requirements to maintain that type of domain have been continually changing over the past few years. Every time Jonn or I have tried to comply with whatever newly dreamed up nonsense they come up with it has always turned into a pain in the ass.
There are other domain extensions. For example, if you go to www.thisainthell.blog you will end up right back here where you started. We own many other domains as well.
We had planned on a bit more of an organized transition in June but I refuse to give out the personal information of a dead friend to satisfy the ghouls that run domain registrations. It will take a while to bring that domain into compliance so it’s better to just take it offline and bite the bullet for now.
We have been pushing to make this transition for a couple of years now. Consolidating all of our efforts and resources into a single effort has been a daunting task. Sadly, we have seen many others come and go over the years.
We are not going anywhere.
thisainthell.us lives on and so does the legacy of one Jonn Lilyea.
Once the Google Gods crawl the new domain a few times we should be everpresent for matters of Stolen Valor on the interwebnet thingy.
There are a lot of new things that we have included in the new site. I hope you will enjoy them as we deploy them in the upcoming weeks.

This Village Loves its idiot and is highly appreciative of what he has done, along with the others, that has kept us going over the past 10 months. A labor of love and a legacy tribute to a man who had the utmost respect of all who came here. I’ll hang out as long as the doors are open and y’all let me.

The new domain is being served from Solid State Drives (SSD) vs. the old spinning hard disks.
You should notice that there is quicker response time to your clicks – i.e. it’s “crisper” or “snappier.”

I’ll ante up as soon as the damned replacement credit card shows up. I received a text about verifying purchases so I logged into the bank’s app and noticed a bunch of transactions I didn’t make. Caught it before it became a problem. Thank you to the angel(s) for the near hit.
