Husband dies in struggle for gun with his wife near Big Bear

By Brian Rokos
The estranged husband of a Big Bear-area woman was shot and killed Wednesday when he broke into her residence, they struggled for control of a gun and it fired, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.

Kyle McWilliams, 33, died at a hospital.

Southern California News Group is not identifying the woman because she has not been arrested or charged.

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance with shots fired about 11:20 p.m. in the 700 block of Leonard Avenue in the community of Sugarloaf, located southeast of Big Bear Lake. They arrived to find McWilliams suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that McWilliams forced his way into the home and that a fight ensued, during which McWilliams and his wife fought for the gun and the gun went off, a news release said.

So close, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, but no trifecta today. 2 / 1 / 0, two achieving room temperature, and one learning the relative merits of garden tools against firearms as effective weapons. None reported opening datum at a high rate of speed, but perhaps they’re just getting better at flying below the radar.

A more refined gentleman might have brought along an autographed Lester Maddox axe handle.

Hate the “gun went off” line in so many places. Guns don’t spontaneously go off, some dickhead’s finger was on the trigger.

Best comment on Lester Maddux and his restaurant came from Truman Capote when Maddox walked off the Dick Cavett show. Maybe another old fart remembers it?

Capote; “I’ve been to his restaurant and his chicken isn’t that finger lickin’ good.”

Or words to that effect. IIRC

Sure glad we rolled yesterday’s winning over. Not a bad pay off. Good on the ladies in the articles for fighting back. You DO NOT have to put up with dirtbags. Just give them a dirt nap, or at least some more ventilation holes. Glad there are 2 less for the persons of the female gland to deal with.

Don’t think a Pic Ric handle woulda done homeboy much good. It didn’t help Lester that much. Those things used to be a dime a dozen. Another political ploy by a POS politician. Y’all may recall he was a Demon Crap? He never actually used the pick handle to harm anyone, and later in his career used to trot out his black “friends” and did do a lot to help blacks as Guvanator. Still a POS as was Wallace.

Outcast, see if you can pry Jeff away from Miss Thang long enough to load up the truck. I hired her to be a distraction for the ne’er do wells, not for him to have a play toy. And see if you can add some more gee gaws, doohickies, and bling to the gun pr0n. Seems to be missing a little something. Brother Saint John Moses Browning (Howitzer be his name) is not quite spinning in his grave just yet….but he will be.

Outcast

I’ll let you do the prying, did recon and place is like Fort Knox and she patrols front with long gun and spare clip as well as locked and loaded pistol, in back they have 3 viscous dogs that she lets loose in front when she goes inside. Seen Jeff once and the boy is walking funny and looks awful drained. 2/1/0, will take mower and couple wagons as also need to get some supplies here as to incoming white stuff. Dumbass, never go visit your ex for anything, always cost severely, gun went off and gun fired, hmmm must be one of those new fangled things that are electronically controlled. Shovel handle, dumbass, if you are going to try something bring the whole shovel, then he can use it to bury your ass, it’s called being neighborly. Never, and I mean NEVER get in a car that has a female driver unless she is family, They could be figuring some way or other to kill you. Oh the Howitzer looks to be cleaned up and pointed at front gate and it looks like there are a couple extra shells, some strange wires located around the outside.

If the lady from PA was in NYS, and the incident in the auto happened, and she had a permit, then she was abiding by the Sullivan act.
