Thomas Aaron Vachét – Not a Navy SEAL, Blog of Shame

| March 7, 2019

The good people at militaryphony.com send us Thomas Aaron Vachét or Thomas Vachet for the sake of the Google Gods.  People seem to be under the impression that Tommy was a Navy SEAL during the Viet of Nam Times.

He has lots of pictures where he is prancing around with the SEAL Trident and Bone Frog on.

He likes to write about his Viet of the Nam Times and all about BUDs.

His official records were ordered through a Freedom of Information Act request.

It appears that Thomas Vachet was medically retired from the Navy…but it didn’t have anything to do with covert operations as a Navy SEAL.  Looks like he got injured in some manner but was not wounded in combat.  He has a long history of using his SEAL claims as some kind of motivational speaker or life coach of some kind.  That’s cute, maybe he can get motivated enough to tell the truth about his military career for a change.

Maybe he could even get motivated enough to stop prancing around giving people the impression that he was wounded in combat while serving as a Navy SEAL.

Maybe, just maybe, he can remove that Bone Frog tat.

He served when many wouldn’t and was at least in the territorial waters of the Viet of Nam, but that wasn’t good enough.  He was some kind of Twidget but that wasn’t good enough.

I am sure Tommy has a perfectly good explanation for all this.

There is much more on this clown over at militaryphony.com please pay them a visit.

Wait a minute…..wait a damn minute. This dude LEGIT has a CAR….and he pulls THIS bullshit. FUCK…HIM.

thebesig

Additionally, he has awards related to Vietnam service. That alone would get him a lot of respect among today’s service members, and veterans. As a population, they are already decreasing in number. So yes, Thomas Aaron Vachét, Phony Navy SEAL, deserves the Google frame that we are giving him here.

Comm Center Rat

Vachet legitimately earned the CAR, VSM, and VCM. If all he did as a junior sailor was chipped paint and swabbed decks I would still respect his VN service. But the lies about being a SEAL and a combat wounded, medically retired veteran are despicable and cowardly.

He’s now 66 years old and still rockin’ the SEAL and “heavy combat” lies. Vachet needs to fade away like his Bone Frog tat. Hopefully, his businesses built on Stolen Valor claims will collapse and he’ll learn the true meaning of “no easy day.”

PTBH

Seriously, what is “combat injured?’

Does it mean injured while under fire but not the direct result of enemy fire? i.e. while under fire fell from a height greater than 6 ft and injured your back? TBI? etc.

If there is no formal medical or legal definition, then it sounds like a play on words.

NECCSEABEECPO

That’s true, TBI is listed as Combat related in my records and I am over 50% Combat rated. I don’t claim it as Combat Injured, but have wondered if you can call it that. The VA says it is Combat Injured, so good question.

SSG Kane

VA has me at 30% also as “combat injured”. Apparently the difference is “injures that resulted from actions in combat but not as a result of enemy action”.

NHSparky

It is. Without doing too much research, sounds like his ship was on the gun line off the VN coast, took some fire, and he got hurt, though not as a direct result of NVA fire.

Sucks, but certainly not a reason to fucking lie like that. I knew a couple guys on the San Fran who got hurt when they slammed into an underwater mountain but they’ll never claim combat wounded, or anything of the sort.

This motherfucker, OTOH….

26Limabeans

“took some fire, and he got hurt”

I tripped and fell while running for a bunker. Limped for years, developed Avascular Necrossis requiring a THR.

I can see that happening to this guy but it did not make him a SEAL just as my tripping over myself did not make me an Airborne Ranger.

rgr769

I severely sprained an ankle on a simulated combat night ODA insertion jump in Germany, and I soldiered on for the next three and a half weeks to complete the mission. I guess I was walking (really limping)simulated “combat wounded.” Where’s my simulated Purple Heart?

Outcast

26, am analyzing your statement, Airborne, yep probably for a brief instant when you tripped, running for bunker means you were in a hurry and forgot to snag your chute and thus were unable to deploy it while in air for an instant, your right as to no Airborne ID. Ranger, don’t know about you but the closest I can come to that is I have one parked outside but wasn’t given any thing to show that I own one to wear on clothing and you may be in the same situation but you are one up on me as I was never Army. As to numb nuts, has same haircut as Seals that I have seen at a Zoo but don’t remember bushy crap around the blow hole like this idiot, unless he is standing on his head, can’t be sure as to that, as looks like an ass either way and the Navy, I believe, does not have a Walrus team and I remember them as having hairy area around mouth.

Mustang Major

Yikes! Danger close! Looks like this ass clown is in the Tampa Bay Area now- my stomping grounds. One of his photos indicate he might be infesting one of our favorite beaches. We just got over Red Tide- now this poser washes ashore. Can’t catch a break. Why do we seem to get more than our fair share of these frauds living here?

If he is medically retired, I may run into him at the MacDill AFB exchange or commissary. Should be easy to spot standing around in the laxative section. I will be sure to say something to him.

HT3 '83-'87

This POSer is kicking it in my barrio??? That’s a bad, bad idea. With MacDill & USCENTCOM plus tons of retirees in the AO, its only a matter of time before he was exposed. I’d offer to take on a roadie across SR 70 to visit some of his “brothers in arms” at the UDT/SEAL Museum in Ft. Pierce. I doubt he’d have the sack to make that trip.

Combat Historian

Vachet also lied about his total time in service, claiming 3 years and 6 months (Jun 70-Nov 73), when he was really in for only 2 years Nov 71-Nov 73). The extra 16 months must’ve been spent in some secret squirrel “Naval Speciak Warfare” training. The guy’s a liar all the way around…

rgr769

Yes, he did his secret squirrel missions right before they sent him to Boot Camp at San Diego in November, 1971. But then again, maybe he imagined them when he was smoking weed about the same time frame, cuz he was fined $100.00 for weed possession in the weeks before he reported to Boot Camp.

thebesig

Thomas Aaron Vachét is/was not a Navy SEAL, for Google posterity.

Roh-Dog

Turd.
Creepy smile alert! Don’t allow this clown around your childs or farm animals.

Can’t be happy with being a legit, CAR-earning disabled vet, huh? F-ck him and the giant dump on his service he took.

26Limabeans

His bald head is big you can see the Equator across the top.

A Proud Infidel®™️

“True North Health & Life Navigation “, sounds like some cheesy-assed wienership and “life coach” bullshit motivational outfit. So Thomas Aaron Vache’t puts out his FAKE USN SEAL bit to attract business, I wonder how soon The Power of Google®™️ will catch up with Thomas Aaron Vachet, Thomas Aaron Vachet needs to realize that he was never a USN SEAL because the Internet is forever!

Weinership! Idk why that made me laugh so fucking hard but thanks!

A Proud Infidel®™️

My interpretation of what he calls leadership.

Cameron Kingsley

Ah, I see. It certainly is appropriate too.

Daisy Cutter

My Life Coaching: Deal with it.

That’ll be $260.

rgr1480

You forgot to add:

“Quit feeling sorry for yourself!”

Outcast

Interesting, DC, 6 words and $260, rgr wants you to add 5 more words and that would be $476.65 total. Public speaking seems to pay pretty well. Probably pays more if you weren’t butt ugly and bald or is it bald and butt ugly, oh well someone else can figure that out. My claim to fame is I’m old but I’m slow. Numb nuts should have kept his blow hole shut and wouldn’t be in cross hairs.

Keepin' It Real

Tom Vachet proves that people can be successfully motivated by BS.

PTBH

One person that, along with 30 of his coworkers, attended Vachet’s seminar where Vachet claims that he was shot several times (12 to be exact) in a firefight and was shot in the head.

So, there’s that.

AnotherPat

Don’t forget he is also known as “The Muscle Whisperer”!

😉

https://blog.lafitness.com/2018/03/12/member-spotlight-muscle-whisper

“Tom Vachét, a Pro Results® trainer for LA Fitness in Florida, has lived a life that’s motion picture-worthy. Known as “The Muscle Whisperer”, Tom has worked with dozens of celebrities, top athletes and Olympians over the years, spanning sports such as MMA, NFL, NHL, MLB, to Tennis, Volleyball, Downhill Skiing and even Ballet. He’s even been credited with resurrecting an NBA star’s career. Tom’s notoriety quickly spread like wildfire as more and more people noticed the results that came from his training – but what makes Tom’s story even more remarkable is the life that led up to this.”

“At the time of Tom’s graduation from high school, the Vietnam War was raging. Undecided about his future, Tom enlisted in the United States Navy. At the end of his second tour of combat in Vietnam, Tom was injured and, following recuperation, left the Navy with a disability retirement. He was again at a crossroads in his life. He decided to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and became a specialist in rehabilitation and medical case management….”

rgr1480

…Tom’s notoriety ….

That says it all right there! Otherwise, the text would say “Tom’s fame….”

Sounds pretty notorious to me.

no·to·ri·ous
Dictionary result for notorious

famous or well known, typically for some bad quality or deed.
“Los Angeles is notorious for its smog”

USMCMSgt (Ret)

The only thing missing from his claims is that he and Frank Dux we’re tag team partners in the Kumite.

Contractor1803

The Muscle Whisperer? Is that what they called it on ship back then? How did he get his disability, throat injury, blunt force trauma to his tonsils?

Morgan Blake

“The Muscle Whisperer” – that sounds like the title of a gay porn movie (not that there’s anything wrong with that).

Another Google hit for you, dipsh*t! Thomas Aaron Vachet never was a Navy SEAL. He is reputed to be an embellishing, lying, Stolen Valor Piece of Sh*t. Should be prosecuted since he uses his false claims of derring do to promote a for profit business.

Here’s some motivation for you Dippy; embrace the suck for it is you. Pay the lady on your way out.

SSG Kane

Ok, so how exactly does one leverage their military experience to become a speaker and life coach and shit?

I mean I’ve done some cool stuff (like going to basic training twice) and at 45 maybe its time I started cashing in on that.

Mustang Major

Now that is funny! Thanks for the chuckle SSG Kane.

26Limabeans

“its time I started cashing in on that”

You could be a “greeter” for Basic Training.
Kinda like Walmart for retirees.

NHSparky

Although it was a SEAL-source rating back in the day.

I’m thinking of another fake-as-fuck former OS who still claims to be a SEAL.

Isn’t that right, McChippendale? Nice to see that word alone puts Joseph Cryer right at the top of teh Googul search items.

The AlGoreNet knows all, sees all, and sure as fuck never forgets.

Daisy Cutter

Both his LinkedIn AND Facebook page are now gone.

Tom Vachet fought the good fight, he was defiant, but in the end, it proved to be too much for him.

He scuttled the Facebook ship – it took on too much water. He activated the water pump but it still wasn’t as effective as a scared man with a bucket.

Daisy Cutter

Tom, Come Back!

SFC D

Ahhh, nothing like a pic of the old homestead. Although I grew up on the other side of the Tetons.

5jc

His business page has undergone some hasty revision as well. Suddenly he is a SEAL no more. Or at least much more modest about it.

Ex-PH2

Words fail me on this mushroom.

STGCS Ret

His Instagram is still live

5jc

I am opposed to his evil plans to turn evil looking semi-automatic rifles in to Class III weapons. It takes a year to get a permit approved for a can or SBR. Can you imagine the wait times if every AR15 type had to go through the same process?

5jc

Also he is really an idiot if he thinks AR style rifles are a poor choice for hunting. Just about everyone around here hunts with one.

26Limabeans

The coyote eradicators love them for night hunts. Very quiet and effective.

5jc

I use an AR10 for deer and hogs. It is awesome on both roles. Allows for quick follow up shots for other targets. If I can bag two deer in one encounter that is a clear win.

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

He’s from Florida!. I see the DD214 doesn’t have the French accent Grav above the E on his last name. A Deck Ape giving his Dept a bad name.

Team TAH:

After reviewing my worn, dog-eared copy of the Official TAH Poser 101 checklist, it appears that while our hero here is already rockin’ the phony tattoos, he may be missing a few additional standard poser claims and pieces of poser gear that would make his overall poser persona much more powerful:

– No phony sniper claims?

– No phony claims that “I was held as a POW in a Tiger Cage with rats crawling on my head, and I was only able to escape after I had killed all of my captors with my bare hands”?

– No phony claims that he was on at least one “Black Op” (highly classified records of the mission are sealed at the personal direction of POTUS, of course), where his best friend died in his arms and he was the sole survivor?

– No motorcycle?

– No leather vest covered in poser bling?

– No doo-rag?

– No dumbass-looking, white-framed, wrap-around, mirror-lens sunglasses?

– No service dog to help him cope with the ravages of The PTS of D?

Please feel free to pile on if I’ve missed anything, which I probably have…

Mick

Saved round:

– No phony claims of an absurdly high number of “confirmed kills in hand-to-hand combat”?

USMCMSgt (Ret)

He forgot to add he was forced to play Russian Roulette against his best friend while in captivity.

rgr769

That is always my favorite story of proof of VC or NVA captivity. What most people who never served there don’t know is that neither the VC or the NVA had revolvers. The only captured enemy pistols I ever saw were semi-autos. The Chi-coms also had no revolvers. Ammo for a revolver would have been problematic, as the only pistol ammo the commies had was for the semi-auto pistols in 7.62mm.

Bubble Soldier

Every time I read about how a POW managed to kill his captors with his bare hands and escape, I wonder how that badass got captured in the first place. Shouldn’t he have been able to kill the bad guy before the bad guy captured him?

HMCS(FMF) ret

What about the field phone? Gotta have some story about being tortured with a field phone hooked up to you!

Daisy Cutter

Silly question: Do they put the number of confirmed kills in a military service record?

SFC D

Only if you’re a cook.

26Limabeans

Only if you turned in the ears for official body counts.

Daisy Cutter

The ear nacklace is real.

SFC D

True story: Bagram, MAR 2002. Sent a few of my cabledogs to Kabul to work on a problem at the embassy. Had a young kid that was cocky as hell, tells the team chief (SGT L)not to kill anybody. SGT L was a former Marine infantry type. He just grins and looks over at me. I said “If you guys get into a dustup, I need proof. You know what to do”. Team comes back in a couple of days, L has taken beef jerky, cut into roughly ear-shaped pieces, and strung them on 550 cord. Tosses it to the kid and says “brought you a present. Taliban ears”. Never seen that shade of green on a human being before.

ChipNASA

HAHAHAHA!
He should have reached over and yanked one off and eaten it.
That’s what I would have done.
I loves me some beef jerky.

So will Thomas Aaron Vachet just go silent, make lawer threats, or will we see sock puppets? Time will tell!

*Grabbing a cold beer and making popcorn *

I was thinking yesterday that I don’t recall sock puppets showing up like in the past. Those were the good ole days. The newbie posers aren’t as much fun as the likes of Chevy, Round, Forging Frank…

Stan Lore

I want to see his admin records for his mos and training. You dont get a CAR just for being in country. His mos will tell more than we have now.
His rank (SN) is an E2 isn’t it? He must have been a shitbird to be injured in Vietnam, combat or no, and not get promoted to at least E3. Rank was pretty quick in the hospital.

rgr769

He wasn’t injured “in Vietnam.” He was stationed on a destroyer at sea that was hit with a few artillery rounds from an NVA shore battery. Apparently, everyone on the crew of a ship that takes enemy fire gets a CAR. He may very well have been injured in some mishap that occurred well outside the Navy’s Vietnam operational area. He could have been injured by falling down a gangway or ladder at Pearl when he came back to the ship drunk and his service record would read the same.

Contractor1803

See the link. The entire ship received the award. It’s just like a unit award in this case. You only have to be in the unit one day of the period of the award to rate it. http://www.usspreble.org/awards.html

PTBH

SN = Seaman = E-3.

In his group photo as well as other references, he was an Operations Specialist.

This is in contrast to a SEAL Special Operator. They sound the same but are different ratings.

“Enlisted with a BUDS contract”, eh?

Was the Navy even offering that (enlistment contracts guaranteeing attendance at BUDS) in 1971 while Vietnam drew down?

STGCS Ret

Not that I am aware of we didn’t start those type of contracts until the 2000’s – he may have stolen that idea as well.

Mike

The Army was doing those kinds of contracts at least as far back as 1978. I know, I enlisted on one. I’ll defer to the Navy old timers on what they did.

Those contracts were around in the 80’s. They were called the Dive Fare contract for SEALs and EOD.

Neck tats optional.

Charles

Yes, as soon as I read the first two quotes on his web site (above, at top) it was obvious he was a sniveling poser:

1 – “I enlisted in the United States Navy, contracting for the BUDS Training Program to become a SEAL …”

Well, there is a world of difference from “contracting” for training and actually “attending” such training, much less actually “graduating” from such training and service in that assignment.

2 – “I didn’t ring the bell…”

TRUE. If he never attended the training, he never rang the bell. Hell, I can honestly state that I “never rang the bell” at BUDS/SEAL training. Of course, the fact that I spent my entire military career in the Army and never set foot on Coronado may have had something to do with it.

In like manner, let the record reflect:

“I never quit Astronaut training.”

“I never refused a mission to lock out of a nuclear submarine at 1,000 feet underwater.”

“I never refused to parachute from a B-52 bomber at 40,000 feet.”

And so on.

I think we have discovered a new form of fakery.

PTBH

Tom Vachét posted in the comments section on the Military Phony Blog of Shame: “Sirs: I am responding to having been placed on the Wall of Shame. I consider this the result of both my actions and inactions. The meticulous biography detailed there creates a disheartening impression of someone whose life was that of a loser. It’s true I’ve had failings. But I’d like to believe my successes outweigh these. Yes, shortly following graduation from high school I was arrested for possessing wild marijuana picked from a roadside in rural Southern Indiana. It was a stupid, youthful transgression. As a result, and in an effort to find direction in my life, I joined the Navy in 1971 on a UDT/SEAL contract. In recruit training, I was nominated and served as RCPO of my company, and was told I was a natural leader. Unfortunately I didn’t make the cut, and never went on to BUDS. Instead, I was sent to the fleet as a Bosuns Mate, and where I was given the opportunity to become an OS (Radarman) striker. My ship deployed to Vietnam twice, took and returned fire with shore batteries on one occasion, and thus I earned the Vietnam Service and Combat Action ribbons among others. I was later injured during my service, and received an Honorable Discharge and Medical Retirement. I went on with my life, serving in law enforcement while working on an undergraduate degree in Nursing. Then I moved on to what became a long and successful business career. Along the way I married, had children, (now with five grandsons) completed a Master’s Degree and climbed the corporate ladder. For many decades, my military experience was simply not part of the conversation. I had also, at periods throughout my life given my time and money to charitable endeavors such as Habitat, and had founded a non-profit profit for disabled children. So, I tried to fulfill what I felt was my responsibility to give back. In 2000, I experienced the failure of a business in which I was an equity partner. It was devastating. “I never referred to myself as a SEAL” — Tom Vachét

Yeah, that screen capture from his former LinkedIn page sure seems to contradict the “I never referred to myself as a SEAL” claim.

26Limabeans

“My reputation, and my life, are literally in your hands”

Seems I have read that before.
Especially the “and my life” part.
Wasn’t there a guy claiming SEAL a couple years ago that faked his own murder on a beach? Turned out he offed himself and set it up to blame his accusers.

MCPO USN

It’s this simple. He’s a liar and got caught.

Claw

Yadda, Yadda, Yadda. I sure wish Mr. Vachet (or a Sockpuppet) would show up here on TAH, as I have several questions.

Starting with how he thinks growing up in a town (Vincennes, IN) with a population of 17-18,000 people and attending a boys only, private Catholic High School is the same as “My life growing up was similar to that to the boys in the film, “Hoosiers”, where in the fictional farming town of Hickory the population was less than 300.

Or how he thinks being arrested with a grocery bag full of marijuana 15 months after graduating from high school is “shortly following graduation.”

But questions like that will forever go unanswered if he never shows up, so c’mon Tom, get with the program and make an appearance here on TAH.

So many questions, so little time./smile

HMCS(FMF) ret

Tommy-boi doesn’t have the stones to show up here and justify his lies – or apologize for making them.

Here’s one that I knew… and gave his life for our country:

https://thefallen.militarytimes.com/navy-chief-special-warfare-operator-seal-michael-e-koch/3357692

26Limabeans

“was arrested for possessing wild marijuana picked from a roadside in rural Southern Indiana”

I had no idea you could pick it from a roadside. Is that just Indiana or should we look for it in other states?

Roadside reefer?

Claw

Yes, that wild marijuana is everywhere in Indiana (I grew up in northern Hoosierland) from back when in WWII a lot of fields were planted in hemp to make rope out of. The wild stuff grew out of those escaping plants from the cultivated fields. As a youngster, there was wild marijuana growing in the fence row between our garden and the corn/soybean fields and whenever I went cat fishing in the irrigation ditches, I rested my pole on a hemp/marijuana plant between bites./smile

Of course, that hemp/wild marijuana didn’t contain all that much of the THC of real marijuana, that’s why we called it “Indiana Bull Thistle.”

I seriously doubt he became a radarman without going to and completing the A-school at Treasure Island. Whatever he did on his ship, it was obviously not enough for him or he would not have pulled this “I was a SEAL and combat wounded” horseshit,

NHSparky

Correct. He was a “striker”, meaning he was trying to become an OS. Had he actually attended (and graduated) the school, he would have been OSSN.

But again, no.

Indiana Joe

I knew him in the 70’s and know that he got a medical discharge from a non-combat medical issue (either a knee or hearing loss). I was also his Facebook friend during the last few years and saw countless references to his time as a Navy SEAL (that’s why he removed his FB account). I knew that it was only a matter of time before he got outed. RIP Tom Vachet. BTW, in high school his last name was pronounced “vat-shit”. He added the accent and a french pronunciation much later.

Thomas A Vachet

Lots of harsh comments here. I’ll take them as earned. I made some mistakes. I let some folks I trained start saying the way I worked them out was that of a SEAL. As time went by, I began to buy into it. After all, it is what I wanted to be when I was 18. BTW, it states in my jacket, dated Nov 03 1971, I am enlisting in the Seaman category of the High School/Junior College Training Program as a volunteer UDT/SEAL Trainee and have sighted a list of schools/courses available. But I didn’t make the cut, which was a disappointment. As I stated in a previous comment, none of this was intentional. It just happened. But I think it’s important to say that I never put on a uniform after leaving the Navy. BTW, I didn’t want to go. I was forced. And I never hung a medal on any clothing. I also, even when I was training athletes, and reporters and magazines were talking to me, ever was a single word spoken or printed anywhere about me being a SEAL. My business wasn’t based on a military record. It was based on the fact I was good at what I did. And yes, I used principles used in team training, but so do many others out there. I also never gave a talk or a presentation that even mentioned any part of my military background, much less being a SEAL. Fact is I’m an old man now, and one who did good things, and some not so good things in my life. But from 2013 to 2015, when I was a patient in the VA, trying to pull myself back from the brink, there were a number of things I had to deal with. I took down my social media pages not to hide anything, but to protect other people in my life from being hurt. Friends I don’t worry about. Other veterans reading this page about me, I don’t worry about. I confessed. I didn’t run away. But my children, or my grandsons, who are… Read more »

Comment #100 – Tom Vachet is half-way to getting in the Big Show.

” This site is here to serve out punishment.” Negative, this site is here to shine a spotlight on embellishers/posers, if you see it as punishment, you have no one to blame but yourself.

First, let’s talk about that header page to your now defunct LinkedIn Page where you write you were a SEAL with three years and six months service.

And GO———

A Proud Infidel®™

MY ASS, IMHO you sound like someone who’s only sorry they got caught. THERE IS NO WAY this site or MP would post what they did on you without CONCRETE PROOF of you lying and/or embellishing.

RGR 4-78

“But really, am I all that bad?”

It has been my experience in life, that men and women that were shit bags before enlistment, were shit bags during enlistment and continued to be shit bags after their enlistment.

Where do you fall in this assessment?

SFC D

Nope. Try again. You’re covering bullshit with more bullshit and calling it an explanation and an apology. Fact is, it’s just deeper bullshit.

Tangomike147

On here and MP you drop back to saying you were “going to be a SEAL” because of some contract. As a retired Frog I would have to say including that in your excuse says a lot. Chocked up as one of your first failures as an adult. You then fall back on “everyone does it”. That also says a lot as it points to your deeper feelings that lying about it is no big deal. On your own LinkedIn you claimed to be a SEAL so hold off on the never claimed it crap. You told people you were a SEAL. You may not have worn uniforms or medals, but you skipped the part about wearing the SEAL Trident on your jacket. That, dumbass, is a uniform item. I don’t care if you raised your hand a swore an oath, we are not brothers and you shit on whatever service you had. I was going to comment on your statement about making E3 but if that was such a huge thing for you, I will let it slide.

Rana

I agree 100% plus you either need to cut off those frog tattoos or get them covered ASAP

NHSparky

“And I took the E-3 test while at sea. and passed.”

Horseshit. E-3 requirements, then as now, were 9 months TIG as E-2 and CO’s recommendation.

The only E-3 test you passed was fogging the mirror.

For those that want a condensed version, here is the translation of Tom Vachet’s post above:

After reading and evaluating all the evidence as well as the comments — I forgive myself – why can’t you?

Ret_25X

Well, Tommy-boi…I have an observation for your consideration.

If you had stolen money at the bank, you would be a thief. If you had a DUI you would be a drunk driver.

If you lie about your service you are a liar.

See how easy that is?

You lied. End of story. No explanations needed. We know you lied, you know you lied, and now everyone who can use google knows you lied.

The question here is not why you lied, how the lie came to be or even who helped you lie. No, the question is this–when will you stop lying?

You are still lying about all of this by pretending it is not your lie, not your fault, others are too harsh, blah, blah, blah.

Take your reality–that you are a lying sack of goose sh*t–and deal with it.

I’ll just leave this here because it’s one of my favorites…..

“none of this was intentional. It just happened”

“I was forced”

Well, there you go again with the victim shit.

Mustang Major

Just wondering Thomas, now that you have tried to come clean, what does your wife say about all of this? Did you give her all of the BS that you posted online prior to marriage? Does she know you have been exposed as a fraud?

I think honesty in the relationship with your wife is something you better get straight.

As for you saying that you are an old man now- BS! I am your age and don’t feel old so where do you get off on playing the “old coot” card?

MustangCPT

Here’s my question…what possible reason could anyone have for bringing up serving as a SEAL on a discussion thread about the NBA draft?

Ret_25X

everyone knows that Navy SEALS are the go to sources on all things NBA!

bwahahahahahaha!

Scotty

News Flash Dumbass Thomas A Vachet You’re not good at what you do. Otherwise you wouldn’t claim to be something you’re not.

Mark Lauer

What did he just said?

He sure talks a lot for someone who got nothin’ to say worth hearin’. Well I was done listened to him from about as soon as he started.
So, I was done real soon.
