Rand Abbott – Cleaning shitters
Amid reports of plundered Native American artifacts, illegal behavior and chain-sawed trees, officials at Joshua Tree National Park have announced they will close the park entirely to mount a massive cleanup effort. It remains unclear how long the closure will last.
I came across our buddy Randy Abbott recently. With the Gubbermint shutdown and all he just had to step up and “help”.
I’ll betcha a can of fruitcake from an old B3 unit that he can not do this without stirring up some stank.
Most folks don’t really know how to deal with an embellishing liar like Randy and because he is in a chair… my guess is he will use that to play on their good nature.
My suggestion to Randy is to STFU if he is going to help clean shitters and don’t cause problems for regular folks.
I doubt he will listen. Regular folks should not be shy about telling Abbott to STFU. My experience is that where ever he goes … controversy follows, but that’s just my opinion.

I can say to the good folks around Joshua Tree that if they get involved with Marshall, Abbott, or whatever he goes by these days, it will probably be in some Not For Profit kinda flim-flam.

Was hiking at Joshua Tree park yesterday and didn’t see any of the damage. There even seemed to be a lot more work activity going on that usual. After returning home received a message that the park would remain open, then a story appeared in the local Patch this morning saying the same.
This park is a cash cow for the guv and local businesses, so no need to close it for lack of funding. It funds itself. Trump has left the door open for visitors anyway, but in 2013 when obama closed down the government he locked the park down completely.
You’re right SK2Bob – was stationed at MCAGCC twice, and live not too far from the park when their the last time. Joshua Tree would be a skidmark on the highway without the Park.
BTW – have a knit pullover from Joshua Tree Outfitters that I still wear on chilling PWN days.
