This is an update regarding the recent whining by the liberal media morons that Pres. Trump not only refused to go to the Aisne-Marne Cemetery near Paris, which is not true at all, but that he also said derogatory things about the WWI vets who are buried there. I originally posted this in November 2018.

Trump had been scheduled to lay a wreath and observe a moment of silence Saturday at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial, located adjacent to Belleau Wood and about 60 miles (100 kilometers) northeast of Paris. The White House cited weather conditions that grounded the president’s helicopter for the cancellation.
In the wake of criticism that Trump didn’t travel by car to the event, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a statement Sunday that noted the weather and “near-zero visibility” as well as concerns that a motorcade on short notice would have required closing substantial portions of area roadways.
“President Trump did not want to cause that kind of unexpected disruption to the city and its people,” Sanders said. She also said the trip to Aisne-Marne was 2½ hours each way by car.
The determination to ground Marine One, the president’s helicopter, due to bad weather is made by the Marine Corps and the White House Military Office, which then presents the recommendation to the White House in collaboration with the Secret Service, according to a Secret Service official. – Article.

Someone from the prior administration chimed in with ‘there’s always a rain plan’, and the logical response is: “Prove it in writing, sport.”

The last minute cancellation prompted widespread criticism on social media and from some officials in Britain and the United States that Trump had “dishonored” U.S. servicemen.
The president was scheduled to pay tribute at a ceremony at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in Belleau, about 85 km (50 miles) east of Paris, with his wife Melania. But light steady rain and a low cloud ceiling prevented his helicopter from traveling to the site.
“(Their attendance) has been canceled due to scheduling and logistical difficulties caused by the weather,” the White House said in a statement, adding that a delegation lead by Chief of Staff John Kelly, a retired general, went instead.
The decision was not made by Trump, period.
The Fox News post is in regard to The Atlantic’s story that Trump said disdainful things about American troops buried at the Aisne-Marne cemetery as well as why he didn’t go.

Bolton later added: “The press turned canceling the cemetery visit into a story that Trump was afraid of the rain and took glee in pointing out that other world leaders traveled around during the day. Of course, none of them were the President of the United States, but the press didn’t understand that rules for US Presidents are different from rules for 190 other leaders who don’t command the world’s greatest military forces.” – article
Even Bolton chimes in on it, saying “No, Trump did not say that”, and he went head-to-head with Trump over a lot of things before he left the White House.
From The Hill article: Former White House national security adviser John Bolton said in comments published Friday that he never heard President Trump refer to slain American soldiers buried at a French cemetery as “losers” and “suckers,” after the allegations were made in a bombshell report published Thursday.
“I didn’t hear that,” Bolton told The New York Times. “I’m not saying he didn’t say them later in the day or another time, but I was there for that discussion.”
Bolton’s remarks came after Trump himself denied any allegations of disrespectful comments toward American soldiers killed in action, which were first reported by The Atlantic’s editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg. – article
At the very least, The Atlantic has engaged in libel and is responsible for what it published. Hearsay is not proof and they have provided not one shred of proof that Pres. Trump said anything derogatory about veterans. When Bolton, who butted heads with Pres. Trump repeatedly, says he did NOT hear any such thing, he’s an eye witness, which is what The Atlantic is not.
If The Atlantic is jumping onto this ridiculous bandwagon that has been creaking along for several months now, one should logically ask what is their point? Are they this desperate for attention? Does anyone even read that magazine any more?

I didn’t bite because we don’t have any idea what actually happened.
Nothing in the video supports Tucker’s claim that his daughter was verbally assaulted. There is no point in the video that anyone swears at Tucker’s family. Tucker is the one standing and his family’s “attacker” is seated calmly.
The incident occurred over a month ago. If it happened as Tucker claimed it did I find it very unlikely he would have kept it private like he did. He would have politicized and televised the victimization of his family by a liberal mob because it would draw viewers.
The fact that he kept the incident private leads me to believe there were things about it he did not want public and thus likely not the innocent victim he is trying to pretend he is.
He only went public when the lawsuit filed against him went public.
Which ordinarily would lead me to believe he was the transgressor in the incident.
However, the guy that filed the lawsuit is a liberal activist that I also do not find credible.
Nobody involved is credible and nothing in the video shows a verbal assault on Tucker’s daughter.
So I don’t know who to believe.
What happened was the club had an internal investigation and shitcanned the slimy bastard who insulted the daughter of a guest. Good enough for me.

Having had in depth conversations with three of the survivors of that fiasco, at different times, I can tell you that their stories all matched, and that NONE of them matched the official line from Clinton, Obama, Rice or others in that administration. So this was NOT President Trump’s decision, at all. After all, he has his own private aircraft if he really wanted to be rebellious, but the RULES are that he has to use the government-issued stuff and follow THEIR rules.
In addition, I am never, EVER impressed by anyone who thinks he’s so important that he will go to a meeting outside IN THE RAIN and expect people to stand there, too, while he runs his yap. And bodaprez did that a lot. It was particularly obnoxious that he made the White House Marines stand in the rain and hold an umbrella over him – AS I SAID ABOVE – and get soaked to the skin. Trump went to France for the century observance of -why- we have ” Veterans’ Day”. Properly. If a 70+ year old man needs a day or two to recharge after that out-n-back jet lag, I am fine with that. He was on-game on the day that matters to me, the 11th. Monday was just a day off, at least for some folks.
Mr. Trump has, more than most, accumulated a reserve of tolerance. From, for example, every time I cash my fatter paycheck, or utilize the extra benefit my employer deployed from -their- fatter paycheck, or watching Trump gob-smack folks who so dearly need it.
I cut him slack because I think he is making us win. Since his opponents decidedly do -not-, their complaints seem … Hollow.
Repeated complaints about a Queens New Yorker being blunt? We didn’t elect him to be Captain Milquetoast, we elected him to -fight- for us.
I am not tired of winning yet. I am, however, rather tired of being told we are not “really” winning, by folks who seem to want anyone else but us to win.

There was NO ceremony on November 12. Veterans Day is November 11, and has been November 11 for some time now. All Veterans Day ceremonies are held on the DATE of November 11, regardless of the day of the week.
