SHANKSVILLE, Pa. — Standing 93 feet tall on an oval concrete plaza Saturday was the Tower of Voices — a new structure that will serve as a landmark for Flight 93 National Memorial from U.S. Route 30 and mark the gateway to the memorial.
As local residents and others across the nation prepare to honor the lives of those lost in the horrific terrorist attacks that shook the nation on Sept. 11, 2001, a special dedication ceremony was held on Sunday, Sept. 9 to commemorate the new memorial addition.

I think that’s a pretty cool feature. Somewhat haunting but at the same time, you will carry the experience with you, not just the one time a year.
You may or may not have heard of Wheaton College in Illinois. It was at Wheaton College that Todd Beamer met his future wife, Lisa, when the two were students there. Todd played baseball for Wheaton. He was good, a solid player who appeared in 92 games at third and shortstop for the Wheaton Thunder, a Division III school, and alternately batted lead-off or second. He also played round ball for the school. Their eldest son, David, followed the path his parents paved and chose to attend Wheaton. Like his Dad before him, David Beamer was a solid athlete, but he chose to play football. He played quarterback and was good, but not great—until it mattered, that is. It mattered in 2016, when he came off the bench at the Sunshine All-Star game, his team behind, and went 16 for 18, leading his team to 28 unanswered points and earning MVP All-Star Game honors. One other thing. The Wheaton College football team adopted a motto some years ago now that is yelled by coaches, players, and fans before each game, and it has since been borrowed by the school’s other athletic teams. The motto, you can guess, is something very special: “Let’s Roll.”
Breaks my heart every time I watch and listen to this, so why do it? If you don’t know, you’re in the wrong place.
Anyone that can look at that and think one airplane brought that bldg down, WAS NOT PAYING ATTENTION! What I can’t figure is it took weeks of planting charges in those bldgs to bring them straight down like that, where are the witnesses? intimidated? an inquiring mind wants to know!
And you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION OF EITHER OF THOSE BUILDINGS, desert.
I saw BOTH OF THOSE BUILDINGS COLLAPSE, as did thousands of other people. It was live on TV. It was one plane per building. The fire weakened the structure of both buildings, and that, in addition to the physical tonnage of steel beams, furniture and infrastructure, is what caused each of those skyscrapers to collapse. They were NOT built to withstand the impact of a Boeing 767 or the heat of exploding fuel tanks.
You do nothing but show a complete lack of respect for the people who died, in the planes and in the buildings, and the firefighters who were trying to get them out.
So shut your yap right now. Just shut up and go away.
Another anniversary is today. It’s the day that a small band of brave men fought alone to protect American citizens in a place called Benghazi. They fought alone because their president and the secretary of the Department of State were busily developing a cover story for themselves while the battle raged.

The Pentagon has released the footage of the plane that slammed into the Pentagon, after being hijacked on leaving Dulles International Airport earlier that morning.

All that picture shows is a fireball! I saw a quick short video at the time that showed a missile…not a plane…and where are the wing damages to the bldg? there are none!

No missile was shot at the Pentagon. There are five concentric sections in the Pentagon at ground level. The hijacked plane only got through the outer wall of the first section because it was flying at nearly 570 miles per hour. Ruptured fuel tanks and spilled fuels caused more damage than the crash and killed more people because they were trapped. They had no way to escape. Karzai Moussaoui admitted that all the hijackings were planned. The records show that the plane crashing into the Pentagon took off from Dulles International Airport, which is west of Washington, DC and has been since the 1960s. I was stationed in Washington, DC in the 1960s and used to drive out towards Warrenton to the place where I kept my horse. I could see the landing lights at Dulles from the road I traveled on. It’s a distance of about 40 miles. Got that part, idiot? And in addition, you sanctimonious, ignorant pinhead, the 4th plane, which crashed in a field near Shanksville, PA, was heading toward Washington, DC and was, ACCORDING TO MOUSSAOUI, supposed to crash into the White House. I DO NOT GIVE A FUCKING SHIT WHAT YOU THINK YOU KNOW. Do you understand me? The Pentagon was constructed to withstand damage from bombs. Construction began in September 1941, ended in January 1943. The plane that hit it was almost at ground level and looked like a missile. At nearly 570 MPH, if it had hit any other building, it might have gone right through to the other side. With the short distance that it flew from Dulles, the fuel tanks were full. That is what caused the fire and the damage.
