Saturday morning feel good stories

| November 25, 2017

From Baltimore, Maryland;

When officers arrived they were meet by a resident who said an intruder forced his way into the apartment armed with a knife demanding money.

The resident was able to get to his firearm and discharged it one time.

The burglary suspect was shot in the upper body and taken to an area hospital where he later died

From Pell City, Alabama;

Pell City Police Chief Paul Irwin told local news media that 32-year-old Jackie Germaine Ragland was killed Thursday morning. Authorities say an officer who was responding to reports of a robbery found the armed suspect to be in the process of robbing the store at a Texaco.

Irwin says the suspect ran toward the officer with a gun, prompting the officer to fire his gun and hit the suspect in the upper torso.

Ragland was pronounced dead on the scene.

Unfortunately, because it is the PRoM, the resident has likely been arrested and charged with murder.

“…robbing the store at a Texaco…”

There’s a Texaco gas station still open? Holy cow!! Does this mean Amoco or Standard ovals will be visible again some day? I’m having a teen-beat flashback to driving my dad’s big, black Plymouth batmobile again. Is gas going to drop back to $.35/gal?
