Wednesday morning feel good stories
From Greebriar, Tennessee;
Officials said a woman went inside her attached garage where she found the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Denver Taylor. She said the suspect told her to be quiet, but instead, she went back inside and told her husband.
Investigators said the resident grabbed his gun, came into the garage, and fired shots at Taylor but apparently missed.
Police said Taylor got into the couple’s car and broke out of the garage, stealing the vehicle and disappearing for about an hour.
Police are still searching for the thief who is believed to have stolen four other cars recently.
From Louisville, Kentucky;
Homeowner Derek Thomas tells WDRB he saw a man going through his truck, so he fired a shot into the air.
Thomas then threatened to use his 150-pound dog named Tank to chase down the suspect if he tried to run.
The man, identified by police as Matthew Conklin, was arrested.
Conklin pleaded not guilty to drug trafficking charges, trespassing and bribery.

“Conklin pleaded not guilty…..”
OF COURSE you’re not guilty. Just like every other inmate in jail and prison. (/sarc).
But you’re there now, so just enjoy the three hots and a cot……and the employment at the BTJT Deli.
You have to initially plead not-guilty to be able to plea-bargain. Every career criminal knows this.
“Conklin pleaded not guilty…to bribery.
I can hear it now: “Hey, Man, I’ll give you 20 bucks, just don’t let your dog loose. It outweighs me by 30 pounds.”
And as Tank rolls up on his ass, high pitched, girly screaming could be heard.
He had a dog named Tank. Damn! I’m gettin’ me one, too.
Jesus, Tennessee, RANGE TIME, darn it!
1) If you are going to pull the bang switch, fire for effect, not “into the air”
2) Practice, practice, practice AKA range time!
“…fired a warning shot into his cranium…” would be the correct response.
This is similar to how things could’ve turned out with the gun plus dog versus suspect article. Stickdeath.com K-9:
Apparently the gun was just to get his attention the dog was the real weapon.
