Saturday feel good stories
From Canon City, Colorado;
Cameron Locke, 33, was taken to the hospital on Sunday morning after being shot in the stomach. The injury was not life-threatening and he is expected to be okay.
Detectives believe Locke had broken into a home in the 300 block of Greenwood Avenue in Canon City when he was shot. The homeowner and a man were inside at the time of the break-in. They told officers that they had asked Locke to leave. Locke did not listen, so the man fired his pistol.
Locke is now facing charges of burglary, stalking, violation of a protection order/domestic violence, assault, trespass, and harassment.
From Wardville, Louisiana;
Lee Rays owner, Frank Issa reached out to News Channel 5 letting us know that there was more to the story than what investigators are releasing, and that he had surveillance video to back it up.
He gave us a copy of the video to see for ourselves.
The video shows not one, but three men entering Lee Rays in wearing hoods and masks over their faces, one of them was carrying a gun.
Issa said they demanded money. And one pushed two customers out of his way and jumped on the counter. He continued to point his gun at Issa.
That’s when Issa’s brother distracted the attempted robbers, allowing Issa to grab his own gun. Issa began shooting at the three men, he said he hit one in the stomach and one in the arm.
We spoke with Sheriff William Earl Hilton, he told us one victim is still in the hospital, and the other was treated and has been released to his parents. They are still searching for the third suspect.
From Kansas City, Missouri;
Ellwyn T. Brown, 18, Ellshaun C. Brown, 18, Bryan C. Byers, 18, and Adrian D. Stallings, 19, are all charged with first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, and stealing a motor vehicle.
They are accused of robbing a Pizza Hut on the 9500 block of Blue Ridge Blvd. According to court records, witnesses claim four men used force and a black rifle to break glass to get into the building.
While inside, they allegedly ordered victims to empty their pockets, took one person’s car keys and stole the car.
Later, police said a gunshot victim showed up at Research Medical Center and said he shot himself in the hand. He also allegedly said he jumped the counter at the Pizza Hut and took money. Police also said he said he was taken to the hospital in the stolen vehicle.
The four defendants were also identified in surveillance photos from the restaurant.
They are each being held on a $75,000 bond.
From Nashville, Tennessee;
Police Lt. Matt Sears said the two people were meeting up for the purchase of a vehicle — but at one point the seller brandished a gun and tried to rob the buyer. But, police said the buyer had a gun of their own and shot the seller.
The seller ran across the parking lot before collapsing near the entrance of the grocery store. The suspect was transported to the hospital where they are in critical condition.

“asked Locke to leave. Locke did not listen, so the man fired his pistol”
At least he was polite about it.
Released to the custody of his parents? You gotta be shiting me right? Why wasnt he released to the custody of the local jail.
in some cases… I know that had I done something dumbass like that and my Dad was called, I would be PLEADING to be put in jail.
We spoke with Sheriff William Earl Hilton, he told us one victim is still in the hospital, and the other was treated and has been released to his parents. They are still searching for the third suspect.
They’re not fucking victims, they’re criminals. Unless you consider them victims of their own stupidity.
