Maybe I’m easily impressed, but it seems to me that the new administration in the White House got to work right away, with less ‘look at me’ than we’ve seen in a while.
This includes SecDef Mattis’s putting the Norks On Notice to mind their P’s, Q’s, and nukes.

This does come hard on the heels of the South’s now-former President Park being fired for corruption. If GEN Mattis is there in Norkiland, I do hope he pulls a Reagan and goes to visit the DMZ to blow some kisses at the Nork soldiers, while he’s there.

I was assigned to 2/7 when he was the 7th Marines CO… loved the way he did business and took care of people (both good performers and shitbirds).

This ain’t no shit…. was over on Okinawa with 2/7 on UDP – it was a year after the marines and corpsman raped the Okinawan woman. 3rd MarDiv CG is BGen Ayers (big guy with a HEAVY Brooklyn accent). Entire battalion is in the base theater at Camp Schwab for his welcome aboard breifing… he comes out on stage and starts speaking without a microphone the following,
“IF YOU FUCK UP ON MY ISLAND, I WILL HAMMER THE DAWG SHIT OUT OF YOU!!!!”
He proceeded to list things that he would “HAMMER THE DAWG SHIT” out of us for – for 30 minutes!
2/7 did not have an incident the entire time we were there….
Hoping Pres Trump doesn’t end up alienating Secys Mattis, Kelly, and Tillerson. So glad Obama the SCoaMF is out, but damn Trump is so erratic & thin skinned. Trump reportedly barely sleeps, but I think he needs to snooze in a little bit on weekends & maybe go golfing. Some of his behavior is just plain weird.
Pres Trump’s IQ score is 156, that’s genius level. That doesn’t means he’s a rocket scientist by any means, but people with high scores tend to have odd behaviors. Like the not sleeping for more than 4-5 hours a night.
Thin skinned? I think not. But he does NOT suffer fools, gladly or otherwise. I thimk President Trump and his appointees are all adults, and will treat each other accordingly.
The thin skinned one is the one who just left the Oval Office.
