Sunday morning feel good stories
One of our ninjas send us a story from Mountain Home, Arkansas where Dominic Anthony Swingle forced his way into a home and threatened the residents with a knife. He tried to stab them, but missed, so he left. The residents left, too, but when they returned, Dominic was stretched out on the floor and bleeding profusely. Apparently, he had tried to stab a tree, but missed and stabbed himself. The police took him to the hospital where he was treated for his injured hand then they took him into custody for felony aggravated assault.
In Escambia County, Florida, a homeowner was wounded in a gunfight with an intruder, but when the police arrived on the scene, they wounded the intruder when he pointed his gun at the officers, and took both to the hospital.
In Wyoming, Michigan a 21-year-old man choked a 20-year-old woman in their home. When a 66-year-old man who also lived there intervened, they were both assaulted by the 21-year-old. The 66-year-old got a gun and shot the 21-year-old in the shoulder which halted the attack until the police arrived.
A thief armed with a BB gun in Laveen, Arizona demanded money from a store clerk, the clerk responded with a real gun, hitting the thief once. Police found the crook nearby and took him to the hospital to be treated for his non-life-threatening injuries.
In Chicago, Illinois, a teenager tried to rob a man who took the gun from the thief and shot him with it. The nineteen year old was DRT.

“Apparently, he had tried to stab a tree, but missed and stabbed himself.” Or, possibly was so damned drunk and dumb that he didn’t have a good grip on the hilt, and slid his hand up the blade. Either way, Karma came with a “no knock entry”.
I liked the quote from the link,”While Arkansas does have animal cruelty laws, there are no similar laws to protect trees from stabbing attempts by allegedly intoxicated individuals.”
Hope it ends well for the Chicago man. Not sure local laws will support his right to self defense.
This is where the Four Esses would have come into play. Too late now.
I bet the Chicago kid was:
A) Just about to start junior college.
B) Made all his friends laugh.
C) Loved his baby mama.
D) Dinn’ do nuffin’.
E) All of the above.
He was just getting his life back together.
He was an aspiring rap artist.
He has a fiance and 4 children.
And was going into middle school this year.
Oh, and got in with the wrong crowd, losing his basketball scholarship.
I’m going to do something different:
F: He was trying to start a dialogue about violence in the black community.
You obviously missed the part about him being a future nobel scholar going to cure cancer. For shame.
Had his hands up, and couldn’t breathe….
How fitting for some puke to make the trip to the great ghetto in the sky.
St Peter, I was just minding my own business when this guy came up and took the gun out of my pocket and killed me with it…
St Peter, Step over to the elevator young puke, the express elevator… Down…
That guy stabbing the tree is just a classic! And messing that up!
Tree must have been a black belt…
The story with Dominic Swingle… He didnt break in qnd threaten them with a knife. He knew the people. He showed up drunk, acting like an idiot. They told him to leave and he got mad about it. He started showing his shit and pulled the pocket knife out. They made him leave and he was mad, so he stabbed at a tree. He lost his balance and it cut his hand. He went back to get something for his hand, but the people had left. But again… He knew the people and he reasoned that they would be okay with him going in and getting something to bandage his hand. But he drunkenly passed out before he got something. And they made sure to leave out, that he suffers from mental illness and learning disabilities. He is essentially 14 years old, mentally. His meds plus beer… Yeah. The Baxter Bulliten likes to flourish the stories they write and leave out important details.
