Matthew Shawn Corcoran; phony Navy sniper

Someone sent us this fellow, Matthew Corcoran who likes to tell folks how he was “Special Forces Navy Sniper in the Middle East and South America”. On Facebook, he says that his job was “population reduction specialist at the US Navy” – ha-ha-ha, big joke.

His car is festooned with sniper and Purple Heart decorations;

Don Shipley says there’s no record of Matthew training as a SEAL.
The Navy disagrees with Corcoran’s version of his career;

I know it’s a little hard to read, but the DD214 says that he had eight months in the Navy before they decided that he wasn’t worth the trouble and put him back on the street. I’m pretty sure the Navy’s idea of infantry is a little different from mine.

Well he is a groundskeeper by trade…the most often used under cover occupation of elite warriors forever on call when needed.
I gad to actually google that……”turf management” is actually a degree?
I’m sorry…I don’t mean to knock anyone’s academics, but growing up, we just called that position the ’12 year old that mows our lawn”.
Usually course criteria was completed in one summer of practical application.
I wonder if he runs around the grounds singing Ballad of the Green Berets like Carl Spacker in Caddyshack… only Carl Spackler was likely much smarter.
As a former Property Manager, I can attest to the fact that Turf Management is indeed a profession. Although it is highly unlikely that this liar has a degree in it. Whenever you have a problem with large areas of turf, be it from weeds, disease, etc., there are those who specialize in remedial care. Golf courses use them a lot. We had multiple properties throughout the country where I worked, and sometimes, the large apartment complexes, or shopping centers, would have serious problems that required an expert to fix.
I know he has a degree in horticulture and pest management, because I know the person he learned from. And that guy was a 40-year veteran in lawn care. I worked with Matt for 10 years and he’s a good guy, and has never had a reason to lie about anything.
“I know he has a degree in horticulture and pest management, because I know the person he learned from.”
You get a degree by learning from one guy? So one guy taught him his english, math, history, all electives and the required turf management courses? Sure that sounds like a typical university.
No reason to lie, but he lied, nonetheless.
Oh boy…a sooper seekrit Navy Sniper! With eights months in! Must have at least 127,000 “kills” playing “Call of Booty – Anal Butteskks Warrior” with the “Dan Bernath SEAL action pack add-on” (that’s the one with Operation “Blue Oyster Bar” in it). Must be a master of the cockmeat cannon and qualified as a fluffer for gay pron shoots in his AO.
Fucking felching buttmonkey and assclown… You’re famous now MATTHEW SHAWN CORCORAN!
OCS = On city streets
Okay. Somebody out there smarter than me needs to enlighten me on what was going on in 96-97 that an NDSM would be awarded for.
Yeoman DD214 screw-up or legitimate?
The Persian Gulf War period for the NDSM was August 1, 1990 – November 30, 1995.
It was? Thanks. The last I had read (maybe in AR 670-1?), it never ended—just went straight into the Iraq invasion.
When the no fly zones end? I think it was Operation Southern Watch and Northern Watch.
That’s what I’m talking about. His so called term of “service” (June 96 to March 97) falls outside the recognized eligibility periods.
Also note he’s not wearing one in his Dixie Cup photo.
I’m thinking the NDSM being awarded on the DD214 is a clerical screw-up and should not have been entered.
Oh, and for the Facebook commenter (Joe Gunter) above about the PH replica plate, you’re wrong. That license plate is the standard Indiana plate for this year in commemoration of the Bicentennial celebration of statehood.
Dixie cup pic is his bootcamp “official navy portrait” so there would not be any ribbons/awards.. In the late 80’s when went, they take it about midway through. You march down to the portrait studio and get a jumper from the rack in your size. The backs were cut out to make them easy to get on/off.. I don’t imagine much has changed.
oh… and the neckerchief was pre-tied for your new off the street ass.. it was actually a black tube where the knot goes. Looks fine for pics I suppose
My son’s boot camp photo shows him with a NDSM, he graduated in 2015.
Two weeks in SN AT right after boot. So yeah, that’s just like sniper training.
Cocksucker.
This joker has 49 county plates on his awesome stang. That is the county I work in. Sure hope to catch him out and about. Wonder why he couldn’t get either the PH tag or the Navy veteran tag???
Matthew Shawn “Cork in the Ass”
This guys FB page is CREEPY!!!!
Non-rate seaman recruit after 8 months. You’d think that he would have been discharged as a seaman apprentice at least. Asshat.
Yeah, I’m thinking the guy’s discharge might not have been exactly on the best of terms. Or voluntary.
Turd Burgler….
enjoy your Google fame
Oh crap his profile page indicates that he’s from Decatur, Indiana.
GuEsS wHo ElSe Is FrOm ThErE????
MaYbE tHeY aRe ReLaTeD?
If QuEeFeRs had a son….
If you need TAH approved brain bleach for that thought, please feel free to stop by the gift shop at TAH World-Wide HQ to pick up a 50 gallon drum.
Heading there now. Thanks.
I need a safe space and a hug. . .
He’s not from Decatur Indiana. He’s from Decatur township.
I don’t understand these guys. He had a perfectly phuked up eight months in the Navy and was he satisfied? Hell no! He had to make it worse.
Well, after a short but unsuccessful interlude, he reduced the Navy’s population by one E-1.
No, no, no. He was in “Snapper” training during his time in the Navy.
He aspired to be a “Snapper” operator when he was just a small child.
Exhibit A:
Then when he was a teenager.

And finally when he was with his gay boyfriend:

He was a born “Snapper” operator!!
I love Snapper
Ain’t nothing like good ole red snapper
Matthew Shawn Corcoran – bringing shame to the family name, again.
Sad sad sad
Matthew was sent on a snipe hunt and thought it made him a sniper.
Curiously enough, that (a snipe hunt) would have been an easy task in the Navy – at least shipboard. And one he’d probably have been able to complete.
http://www.navydads.com/profiles/blogs/why-the-navy-term-used-for-engineers-is-snipes
(smile)
Just don’t ask for the A-gang punch.
Since I retired, I’ve been in cat box replemishment. Is there a tag for that? Guess I’ll have to look into it, at the peepuls republic of Murland MVA.
You’d think that 8 months in, he could at least get his story sorta straight. Navy sniper (I was Army) seems an oxymoronic rate.
Well, the Navy certainly has snipers. (Clint Eastwood made a movie about it, in fact…)
Just that this guy wasn’t one of them.
“population reduction specialist”.
Awesome. Got to give this turd credit for being original.
A truly “Phildosical” dude, indeed.
Candyassed DILDOHEAD.
Population Reduction Specialist…oh hell yes!
Matthew was a bad ass
He KILLED a lot of grass
Blade by blade he mowed ’em down
Bad To the Bone, he’s nuthin’ but a clown
Where’s George Jones when we need him?
maybe he is a BB gun lawn mole sniper
I’m thinking the folks at HRC that hand out the QMP pink slips should be called personnel reduction specialists
Cocksucker.
It escapes me how someone could think that they would not be outed what with all the technology out there now. I also don’t understand the embellishment of your service. I guess he got home and was embarrassed by the fact that they let him go, and had to tell some lies, which led to more lies, etc, to cover his failure as a man and human being. Sad case.
