Saturday morning feel good stories
In Elk Grove, California, a homeowner discharged his shotgun at a thief he found in his garage. That fellow escaped but his backup, two others in a car outside, were arrested by police.
In Las Cruces, New Mexico, Diego Vallejo and two of his friends forced their way into a home. Diego was wounded in the leg by the homeowner. That was late last month. He’s been released from the hospital where he’s now facing one count each of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and criminal damage to property and $50,000 cash-only bond.
Louise Jones, a septuagenarian in Middleton, Ohio pistol-whipped an intruder as he tried to get into her home because she didn’t want to shoot him. No arrests have been made.
Another car owner in St Louis, Missouri shot a thief who stole his car. The thief subsequently drove away and then crashed the car down the street. Police found him in the driver’s seat and he was DRT (dead right there). We talked about a 73-year-old resident of St Louis who shot and killed two car thieves earlier this week.

Little, old, ladies; if you have a pistol for protection, shoot the bastards with it. It doesn’t work that well as a cudgel. You would be better off using an iron skillet to beat someone about the head and shoulders. Just shoot ’em, center mass, until the pistol is empty.
Iron skillet? Where’s Ex-PH2 to give us the finer points and techniques of iron skilletry defense?
If she is anything like my late mother-in-law, she still has a lot of her strength from using cast-iron skillets, and that pistol whuppin’ probably hurt the perp something considerable.
While he is in the cross bar hotel, he can brag he was pistol whipped by 70’s plus old women that was much more coordinated than the young punks LOL
How do you miss someone in the size of an average garage with a freaking SHOTGUN?
