Two injured in latest Brussels terror attack

| October 6, 2016

A terrorist identified as “Hicham D” managed to stab two Brussels police officers before he was subdued by a third officers and taken into custody, according to CNN;

“In the framework of the terrorist attack against two police officers in Schaerbeek, a house search was conducted today at the residence of the suspect Hicham D, situated in Schaerbeek, Avenue de la Reine,” the statement [from the prosecutor’s office] said.

No weapons were found in the search in Belgium’s capital city. The office declined to release further details related to the search.

None of the injuries were life threatening.

A 17-year-old French high school student, Stan Racine, witnessed the attack.
“The suspect pulled out a knife and attacked a policeman, and hurt him in the stomach and leg,” he told CNN. “The policeman then pulled out his pistol and shot the suspect in the leg.”

Racine said the suspect then shouted something in what he believed was Arabic.

That Indiana Jones impression gets them every time. I wonder what Arabic phrase he could have shouted that made the Belgians think that it was a terrorist attack?

“Aloha”, like “Shalom” and related phrases, can be used as a greeting upon arrival or a farewell.

The terrorists social justice awareness facilitators are welcoming everyone to the koolaide counter.

The European leaders are being so stupid. They think they can change the name of the Muslim terrorist and we won’t know. They can’t even change the name properly so we don’t know. They can’t even get a name change right. No wonder they’er losing this war.

We all see the trend, right?

No name, or part of a name.
No motive.
No clear intent.
No clear affiliation.
No info on investigation.

We’re all just mushrooms, gal.

Lawfare.

In the rules of Lawfare, an enemy can’t be treated as an enemy. Lawfare also can’t be fought to win.

Lawfare is a war type invented by losers whos only real purpose is to inflict defeat upon their own.

Is the policeman’s gun okay with being used this way?

Sloppy journalism. It wasn’t a terrorist attack. According to the story, apparently what actually happened was that a suspected terrorist got all stabby when some cops tried to search his house for weapons.

An ironic loosely-connected sidebar to this is that CNN reported last week Barack Obama explaining at a town hall meeting why he will not use the term radical Islam to describe acts of terror. Apparently according to Obama, those elements of Islam engaged in the establishment of a global caliphate under Sharia Law are no more than murderers and thugs; it’s a law enforcement problem, not a military one.

It might be pointed out that how ISIS recruits support has also changed. A couple of years ago, most of the focus was on getting jihadists into Iraq and Syria. More recently that has shifted into an ISIS assertion that any act against the infidel, however minor, lends support. If a jihadist picks up a rock and throws it through the windshield of a cop car, it’s a blow for the Islamic state.

My own view is that acts of terror are, by definition, used to instill fear and intimidation to achieve political ends. The suspect in the Brussels stabbing may have been a terrorist, but was not engaged in a an act of terror because there was likely no premeditation.

‘no more than murderers and thugs; it’s a law enforcement problem…’

How many times must it be said that denial of reality is a mental disorder? How many times?
