Wednesday morning feel good stories
A homeowner in Houston, Texas, heard a thief break his window and confronted the man as he tried to climb through the broken portal. The homeowner fired off two shots which sent the thief to the hospital. Neighbors claim that the thief is the same guy who stole their stuff, too.
A masked and armed Jalen Thompson Johnson, 16, in Durham, North Carolina forced his way into an apartment and shot the resident in his leg. The resident returned fire and the teen was DRT (dead right there).
Some more updates on the Shawnee, Kansas Walmart shooting that we talked about on Monday – the injured Good Samaritan who first tried to rescue the woman from thieves before he was shot several times, turns out to be an Air Force Iraq War veteran and he’s still recovering in the hospital. One of the thieves was shot DRT, but his accomplice, Arthur Fred Wyatt III, was arrested by police yesterday.

Thug life is a way to cut short one’s miserable time on the planet. Doing dirty deeds will make one dead. Thievin’ n robbin’ is not a good vocational choice, as these dopes are learning. One 16 year old’s family will be moaning the “dint do nuttin” mantra over his casket.

Despite the home invasion and photos of the youth with handguns, his principle says that Jalen was a “great kid.” That, boys and girls, is one reason why Mrs. Bobo, who was an educator in the public school system for 15 years, declared that Bobo Jr. will never step foot in a public school.

Bobo. I had a similar reaction to yours before I realized that maybe the school is so damn bad that a crim like the now-deceased Jalen was, relative to the other students, a good kid and, as the Dr. Principal also said, “a loss to the school.”
The principal has a twisted idea as to what is considered a good kid.
Did he leave behind a fiancée and baby?
Off-hand, I’d be inclined to say that Jalen is no loss.
I’m thinking that Arthur Fred Wyatt III is about to learn the meaning of the legal term “felony murder”.
Best wishes to the injured vet. May he have a speedy and complete recovery.
Hope the dead perp enjoys hell.
Here in Texas we had a guy due to be executed under our local equivalent law – you should see all the do-gooders’ handwringing and lamentations that “he didn’t even pull the trigger!”. Adios, muchacho….
I had to look up Mr. Wyatt, just to confirm suspicions. Turns out, “Wyatt was released from the Kansas Department of Corrections in July after serving a sentence for a 2009 involuntary manslaughter case in Wyandotte County and subsequent violation of probation”.
It appears that Mr. Wyatt is a slow learner, and he has a penchant for engaging in criminal behavior that leaves someone dead.
But, congrats, dumb ass, you were out for a total of 2 months, and now, it’s likely the only sunshine you’ll see will have to be piped in to your new home.
Perhaps Jalen had a good side that was overrun by drugs and the thug life. As the old saying goes, One no no outweighed the Attaboys.
Only defense he needs in Florida is simply, “He just needed killin” Feed him to the gators!
