Tuesday morning feel good stories

| September 6, 2016

A homeowner in Savannah, Georgia engaged in a gun fight with a burglar. The thief was struck by bullets, but he managed to run off into the night. I’m guessing we’ll know his condition soon enough. The homeowner wasn’t injured.

In Phoenix, Arizona, another homeowner engaged in a gun fight with thieves in order to protect his nine-year-old daughter after they were awakened by the sounds of thieves stealing thier stuff. The thieves were able to leave the scene, but the man and his daughter were unharmed.

Two essentials to having guns to defend what is yours is being proficient with that gun, and knowing which size gun is adequate for that defense. If you are not able to hit the target, or if the weapon doesn’t contain big enough bullets, it can be pretty useless, even dangerous.

Not yet, anyways. I think we have a runner on third thinking about stealing home, though…

Story Number 1, you need to get something in a higher caliber. Story Number 2, you need to practice more. It helps no one when what you’ve got either isn’t enough or you don’t hit your targets guys. I’m really glad your all ok but now it’s time to reevaluated what you’ve got on hand.

No doubt about it, range time is needed in both cases…
