Wednesday morning feel good stories
A homeowner in Las Vegas, Nevada, awoke to find an intruder in his bedroom. So, the resident shot him in the leg and detained him for police. He’s recovering in the hospital.
In Armstring County, Pennsylvania, 21-year-old Brandan Vallies tried to force his way into another person’s home. The homeowner met him at the door as he broke through and shot him center mass. Unfortunately, Vallies is expected to recover from his wound.
In Clearwater, Florida, a drug-adled Robert Alcalde broke into a home. The homeowner and his wife awoke to the nut in their bedroom. The homeowner grabbed a gun and a machete that he had available and forced Alcalde back outside after Alcalde had tackled the wife. The victim tried to subdue Alcalde with his machete and, despite gaping wounds, the criminal would not be subdued. The police arrived and tasered him six times before they finally got control of him. Alcalde died on his way to the hospital.

The miscreants just will not learn that America is Armed and will protect life, limb and property. Whether it is a handgun, rifle or a machete, we are armed.

Too bad the Nevada and PA cases didn’t expend JUST ONE MORE ROUND each to the perps, a double-tap. Then they would be on a slab in the morgue, instead of wasting scarce taxpayer monies on long term hospital and jail costs.
Ammo is cheap, compared to incarceration.
What’s with the machetes? Isn’t that two this week, or am I in a coffee-deprived haze?
Or are folks working to prove that it’s not the gun’s fault – it’s the criminals?
I am going to blame all the zombie movies and games. A good melee weapon is handy for when you run out of ammo.
Personally I just bought enough surplus ammo as to make a melee weapon unnecessary.
While I can still weld a machete, I’m getting to dang old for a melee.
Plenty of ammo works for me.
