Thank you all for the outpouring of support. I’m humbled once again by y’all’s generosity, especially with money so tight these days. I actually saw the ghost of a smile on our bean counter’s face, a very rare occurrence. The totals are not all in yet, but the largess donated should keep the place afloat for another year. Thanks once again, and I’ll gratefully put the tin cup away. Until next time…

You knew it was coming. We held off as long as we could. But…
It’s time to shamelessly rattle the cup once again. The coffers are dry and our bean counter is searching the sofa for loose change.
The best things in life are free, but sadly it takes cash money to pay the bills. Hosting the domain, Professional Licensing, Insurance, Attorney Fees, Internet, Phones, Continuing Education requirements, tax prep, PI software renewals, and a host of other cats and dogs all go into making this happen.
What we do not collect in donations to the cause, several of us pay out of pocket. Its always been that way. Please help us to provide the content you’ve come to enjoy, and at the same time keep the Stolen Valor fires burning at Military Phony. Without support the sites go away.

Agreed, also Walmart will not give me the cashier discount if I check out my own stuff…seems a bit unreasonable to me.
If the idea of self-checkout is to save labor costs but there’s no discount when I self-checkout what’s the benefit to me besides getting out of there quicker than waiting for a human cashier? (Getting out of there quicker is indeed no small thing)….

I made a batch of Ex-PH-2’s thursdays are for cooking Sausage/ Penne a couple of weeks ago. She was a Photagraphers Mate E-5 and that rate she held doesn’t exist anymore after all these years. I usually give a monthly donation of $25.00 once a month for each month. almost every week, I get mail from the DAV, VFW, AMLEG, NRA plus other places that want donations ..
I could only give so many beans, but happy to contribute.
