Wednesday morning feel good stories
Bobo sends us our first feel good story this morning from Gwinnett County, Georgia where a business owner and his wife were closing up their business at about midnight when they were confronted by an armed thief. The criminal got the first shot of and the business owner, Andrew Shin, fell mortally wounded. he got his shots off, though. Shin’s wife, from her hiding position behind a car saw 22-year-old Diante Doby crawl to his getaway car, driven by his girlfriend, 22-year-old Kendra Gates who drove him to MacDonald’s and called 9-1-1, but the arrived too late and Doby was DRT (dead right there) when they arrived. Gates may end up doing Doby’s time for murder.
A masked, armed robber tried to steal from a pharmacy in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. He became irritated when employees weren’t moving fast enough for him which scared on armed employee who shot the criminal four times. He got a free helicopter ride to the hospital where he’s in critical but stable condition. The employee is getting kudos from shop owners in his community, especially the local gun dealer.
A homeowner in Island Creek, Kentucky saw a strange car parked in his driveway. When he went to investigate, he found two men liberating his personal property. As he approached, one of the men pulled out a gun, but the homeowner was faster on the draw and plugged him. The other guy approached with something in his hands, and the homeowner plugged him as well. Both criminals were DRT (dead right there) when the police arrived.

3 incidents with 3 of 5 bad guys dead, 1 other is FUBAR, and another is charged with murder. Sadly, one good person is dead, because the bad guy shot it out. We don’t take it well when the junkies try to take our goods.
Good job Kentucky, two DRT’s center mass!
This is the third time that the Pennsylvania pharmacy robbery has been featured in Feel Goid Stories. I don’t mind though, it is like watching your favorite Seinfeld episode, again. It never gets old.
Nope, it’s a different pharmacy story.
My mistake. When I clicked on the article, the photo looked like the same pharmacy that was robbed a few weeks back. The (alleged) armed robber would have fared better if he had a bullet proof umbrella to hide behind like the last guy. Of course, that turned out to be a wash, since he had it opened indoors and it caused a fatal case of DRT.
Pharmacies looking alike…who would have thought…
There was a news link on the Georgia shooting story regarding two young men shot over a dispute regarding shoes. This madness needs to be stopped. When will Congress enact some comprehensive common sense shoe laws?

Out of respect for the deceased victim, there will not be a batting line analysis today.
Hopefully the perp’s accomplice in that case goes down hard for felony murder.
TWO felony murders.
My deepest sympathies go to Mrs. Shin in Georgia. She was married to a good man. Now, because some now-dead wanker decided he should try to profit from the lives of the Shins, she has to go it alone.
If the state won’t use the death penalty, I guess the citizens will have to.
Did Doby get a Happy Meal?
Didn’t Frank Sinatra sing a song – Doby Doby dead!?!
Yeah, I know, that’s in poor taste but then the girlfriend did take him to McDonalds.
“Diante Doby”? Probably one of those Irish Gang kids, trying to Raise money to take his girlfriend to a Celtic Woman Concert.
