Sunday morning feel good stories
There is only one armed citizen story today which is tough to describe as “feel good”; 61-year-old man John Horton tried to defend himself against three gunmen with his own firearm in Dallas, Texas. Horton was killed in the exchange of gunfire. A witness to the crime was outside when one of the thieves came out and pointed his gun at the witness. The witness made the thief DRT (dead right there). When the other two left, the witness engaged them, too, but they escaped, one was wounded. His partner drove him to the hospital where police caught up to them.

RIP Mr. Horton, at least you put up a fight. At least one perp DRT, one wounded and the other in jail. Thank God for the armed witness.
RIP Mr Horton. Thx to an armed good guy, one is worm food, and the two others hopefully face 1st degree murder charges.
Rest in peace Mr. Horton. God be with your family now. Glad one is dead due to a diligent witness and the others will be tried for two murders.
RIP Mr. Horton.
Let me guess – the families of the perps have come out and told the world that their kids are “good church-going people” that are “pillars of the community”.
RIP, Mr. Horton.
An honorable man protecting his property against the scum of the earth. The good guys don’t always win but they’ll fight like hell.
Prayers for his family and friends.
Rest in Peace Mr. Horton.
Because of Mr. Horton’s actions, the thugs won’t get the chance to hurt anyone else. He didn’t die in vain.
