Charles Domm; the phony Special Forces soldier
Someone sent us their work on this Charles Domm guy from Baltimore. He likes wearing stuff with Special Forces patches and tabs on it. He does interviews with the media that highlight that part of his service. Like this one from Highlands Today;
And this one from the Baltimore Sun;
He doesn’t say that he was in Vietnam, but then there’s this picture in an article that gives that impression, reading a letter from home;
Well he did spend almost three years in the Army, February 1966 – December 1968. He did spend a few months in Special Forces Training, but it doesn’t look like he graduated, because he went from training group to C Co. 2/504th Infantry (82d Airborne Division) after six months in the school. He left the Army as a Specialist (E-4). It looks like he made E-4 twice;
There is nothing to be ashamed of for dropping out of special forces training. How’s that song go? “One hundred men will test today….” However there is something shameful about pretending to be something you’re not.

Cocksucker. But, he does have a sharpie in his SF shirt pocket along with his high tech satellite phone.
Unrelated, but all these stolen valor dudes remind me why i never ever ever take UFO witnesses seriously.
People lie for a shitload of reasons.
Oh shit, did i say “dude”.
I know you guys don’t like that word. Wonder why.
We all say dude in the army these days, you know that, right?

Looked at the so-called “responses” of this group…what a piss-poor representation of America. DISGUSTING. My niece came to Bragg as a 4-year-old to visit…and looks like the entire lot of “responders” here couldn’t begin to have her courage, wisdom or military professionalism. Grow up lads…for the most, none would want to “soldier” beside or near many of you. BTW, my niece retired as Airborne Lt. Col. (with Masters degrees yet and is a deacon of her church) married an Apache gunship “Captain.(warrant grade)” I would not want to serve with nearly any who have written here; none in my family would. DISGRACEFUL GROUP. PATHETIC FOR THE MOST. SHAMEFUL.
This may be the first phony I have seen that served during the Vietnam War and didn’t try to claim he was in a secret squirrel unit with a seal special forces recon pararescue team deep in the jungles of Laos (insert BS here)
Ahem. Point of order here, 19D2OR4-Smitty.
You neglected to include participation in the Phoenix Program.
Smitty– a somewhat thoughtful reply. Unusual for this group, evidently. But here ya go…got some “secret squirrel” in here for you. Enjoy! · As they say, “Very interesting, but stupid!” An SF buddy mentioned this posting a few days ago, so it is the first I have seen it. I am on-the-road presently working for DHS, just flew into Orlando from Washington, D.C. and will not have a chance to return home for at least a few days if at all possible. I may be getting deployed for a few months to Texas by Friday. However, I promise all, to find and post a few documents that may help some “responders” to gain a better perspective of me and some of my activities. Some little of what I see here is accurate…much is altered, which has been the case for a number of us who had “special skill sets.” I am pretty sure, now, of who originated this sort of “personal attack.” He is not someone I had much contact with, ever, but who was a friend of a long time “childhood” friend…who grew up dealing lots of drugs. The one who instigated this evidently was a Marine once-upon-a-time (I don’t know–it’s his story and info from my now dead childhood friend over the years.) Evidently this instigator was a “hero” saving fellow marines countless times in Nam. (I don’t know that either or even if he was in Nam…just saying the stories I heard.) Like many of us, as he ETS’d, evidently he was asked to join a police department…and got involved in D.C. supposedly becoming a narc after awhile. But, he was a “dirty narc” who also got involved heavily with marijuana and other items of the trade. My friend met him in Amsterdam, checking out grass and seeds there to bring back to the states. The two of them started wheeling and dealing, literally. The “marine hero,” somehow was put off the D.C. force and was addicted to smoking heavily every hour or so and added oxy to his intake…from what I heard “due to intolerable pain.”… Read more »
Oh, please tell me that no one on Team TAH has angered the Stolen Valor gods again today.
Not on Friday the 13th.
The number of posers that could appear would be staggering…
Jeezuz… another special feces, chair borne, rump riding ranger. Couldn’t be happy with just serving… can’t deal with the fact that he didn’t complete training. Rocking the lie because he can.
We know the truth now, you two hole sniffing, taint tickling, cockholstering, smegma slurping, rump riding, peter puffing, “Call of Booty – Anal Buttsekks Warrior” playing assclown.
Charlie Domm, you’re Interweb famous now, BYTCH!
So HMCS and all that…thanks for your service, hope it isn’t near over even though I see you claim “ret.” I do not know how this post works…or if whoever the task masters are even care enough to do corrections or maybe bother to “vet” whoever sent this: “Someone sent us their work on this Charles Domm guy from Baltimore.” to get them started on their “helpful” task (I guess “they” are trying to be “helpful”…I don’t know what in Hell this is about or why.)
But, for all readers, especially in these times with TRUMP…so much bullshit is everywhere everyday..from “Alternative news” and “fake news” and blogs, opinions, yadda, yadda, yadda…
In the history of news, probably every person who has had another “report” about or on them or write a story or some news articles…has inaccuracies. During Vietnam Era and surely the Trump Era…disinformation, misinformtion, out-and-out lies, are the news. Few accuracies exist…ask Westy for body counts, ask the OBM for budget accounting, ask President Trump how many millions of people were at his inauguration and who held the ladder when the Obama family sneaked into Trump Towers to “tapp” (Donald’s spelling, not mine) his phones…or when Obamacare will be repealed and replaced. All I am saying is we never should just believe one’s stories or write-ups or news or…anything. Each of us needs to do deep research before jumping to whimsical conclusions. And in this “THIS AIN’T HELL” something or another….wow! Evidently ‘IT AIN’T PETUNIAS” either…but what the Hell is it? CRAZY SHIT! Do you not have much better things to do any more? Our nation is seriously in trouble…or have you not noticed?

In the late ’90s, I was on a months-long TDY with JFKSWC working on a classified history project there. That would make me a “U.S. Army Special Forces veteran”, right? right?
I was attached TDY to a Special Forces team at An Khe in late 1966 to field test, under actual combat conditions, a device called the man-packed, portable detection device, a supposed ambush detector which we dubbed the “People Sniffer”.
Can I add SF to my DD 214? Wear a beret?
Oh, and the sniffer didn’t work for squat.
I’ve graduated courses at JFKSWCS and have been cadre there for over a decade now.
That makes me……………..old.
IDC SARC I know the feeling lol. BTW do you know if the PA that ran the TMC at Camp Mackall is still there? I can’t remember his name but he wore a huge handlebar moustache.
I know who you’re talking about…but the last time I emailed him was probably at least 3 years ago, so I’m not really sure what he’s up to these days.
I haven’t been to Mackall since I was in some refresher training in 2005.
Man-packed…always sounds like a suppository to me.lol
Or maybe Thursday nights in either the ME or Central Asia . . . .
My bad, the old brain farted; it was manpack:

You should see the Sniper spotting device we tested a couple years back at Benning.
It worked perfectly. Besides the fact that it took 20 minutes to set up, then took 30 minutes to scan the terrain. And then ONLY spotted snipers who were aiming directly at it.
Hey, I saw some Army SF soldiers at Fort Bragg one time back in the ’80s, so I’ve also got the SF qual.
But for some reason the Marine Corps would never let me wear the beret.
gotta getcher self a leather “I love me” biker vest and deck it out appropriately.
Or just tattoo it on your ass.
That seems to be the style today.
Hey! I arrived at 10th Group in November of ’92, seven weeks before a uniform reg change caused support personnel to go from wearing the green beret, back to wearing the maroon. Surely that means that I’m a…
Aww shoot, I can’t even say it.
OK all you braggarts, one of you hold my beer while I do this. When I was selling pharmaceuticals to the military, I was physically in:
1. The SEAL-staffed Naval Medical Clinic at NAB Coronado.
2. The SF-staffed Troop Medical Clinic for the HALO training program at Yuma Proving Ground.
3. The Air Force Para Rescue training program at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque.
4. The Air Force Combat Controllers training program at Medina Base in San Antonio.
5. The Naval Special Boat Team Training Center at Stennis Center in Mississippi.
6. Air Force Special Operations Command medical operations at Hurlburt Field.
7. The Naval Medical Clinic at the Naval Diving Training Center in Panama City.
8. Every Army Ranger TMC at Fort Benning, Dahlonega as well as Camp Rudder at Eglin AFB.
9. Army Sniper School at Fort Benning.
10. Marine Corps Special Operations medical operations at Camp Lejeune.
11. 1st MARDIV Recon BN Naval Medical Clinic at Camp Pendleton and 2d MARDIV Recon BN Naval Medical Clinic, Camp Lejeune.
12. SF Medical Operations, Ft. Bragg.
13. U.S. Special Operations Command Surgeon’s office, MacDill AFB.
Now anybody want to calculate how many badges that qualifies me for under what we’ll call the DOMM test?
Oh yeah, I called on the K-9 training program at Lackland AFB, too. Did that earn me a silver dog biscuit?
Sorry, but no silver dog biscuit, Poetrooper.
But you do get a Joint kevlar spiked dog collar that’s only visible in the IR spectrum.
But I confess I’m confused as to what color PT belt I’m supposed to wear.
Should it match my beret of the day?
Oh yeah, back in ’96 I also did a long TDY for SOCOM at MacDill AFB working on another classified history project there. That makes me tri-service super-special spec-ops; I should be able to wear different berets every day of the week…//////
C’mon, Historian, you’re trying to out-beret me, dude. Look at that list up there and weep.
By the way, I forgot to mention in that list that I dropped by Jungle School in Panama back in the mid-80’s while I was calling on Gorgas Hospital. There’s another badge.
I also forgot to mention the SERE program at Fort Rucker which I called on several times. Is there a badge for that?
Also called on the the regimental surgeon at the 160th Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell.
Give Ol’ Poe time and he’ll remember more. I know I hit ’em all at one time or another.
CUTE! Really. Buy some gold stars for yourself, you do deserve them. You get some credit for creativity…and humor too.
So where are these bragging mouths now??? Anyone stepping up to help fellow veterans or just mealy mouthing us due to drunks, dopers and idiots doing web sights? Get involved, make some real efforts, do something to help our nation and our veterans rather than shooting the shit about stuff you know nothing about.
HERE: The push to end homelessness among veterans would suffer without the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, which is up for elimination under President Donald Trump’s proposed budget, nonprofits and local officials say.
The council coordinates the efforts of 19 federal agencies that play a role in preventing and ending homelessness among all Americans. But the strides made with the subset of veterans — for whom homelessness has been effectively ended in three states and dozens of communities amid a concerted effort — make the proposed cuts particularly upsetting to advocates.
Homeless advocates in any given state consult the council, whose annual budget is about $3.5 million, on which strategies are working elsewhere as they seek to house veterans. They worry momentum will slow.
“We’ve learned how to end homelessness,” said Nonie Brennan, chief executive of the nonprofit All Chicago. “It would be a tremendous shame if we were not able to continue to implement these strategies in our communities across the country.” I agree fully and am personally getting land, funds and developers to develop Veteran Villages in which veterans get job training to be builders, handle transportation, do landscaping, accounting, management in efforts for self-sustaining communities in which we hope to also have VA clinic available or shuttles to nearby clinics. Quit dragging our nation down laddies, pull up your shorts again and show us what you can do rather than “rest on your….uh, laurels.” It is not about what you did, it is about what you can and will do that matters. BE MEN AGAIN…our nation needs you.
Shitbag! I would write more but I’m keeping my night eye open for the Weekend Open thread.
see that the “Cry Baby Express” herein just “can’t handle the truth.” What a sad group…PITIFUL. (Just to be clear, not all. I do recognize one or two I served with and greatly respect…who wisely did not enter the trail of tears you so-called warriors have flowing. Cowboy up, enlist again, our nation is being assaulted and seems like many of you need education, maybe start by remembering that you swore to protect and defend our U.S. Constitution. Try actually reading it…just a page a day…learn what we are supposed to be about. Share with others and, for all of our sakes, help fellow veterans. Visit those in hospice, show some that you actually care about them and their sacrifices…you can visit VA hospitals and hopefully cheer someone who needs friends. Speak to school children (go sober at least) about how great our nation IS…and what it took for so many Americans to make it that way. Help our fellow veterans to be better role models, about a third of the vets I have known who passed away did so from heart failure and/or smoking related diseases. C’mon, most of you turds sound miserable, self-righteous, and clueless about what makes our nation a good one. Grow up! Act “soldier-ish at least”
Charles Domm-ass.
Clown.
Such a jerk.
I’m not excusing this man’s behavior at all, but I will say this. It’s gotta hurt, having washed out of SF training. To find out you’re not good enough. I know how that feels. I attempted Pre-Med in college…and couldn’t do it. I flunked — and I do mean FLUNKED — the chemistry and physics. But what I don’t understand is the man lying about his service. Yes, it hurts, but you pick up and go on, keep plugging until you find something you’re good at, and then you can take pride in that. That’s what decent, honorable people do — not turn the rest of their lives into a charade.
I’m not sure he “washed out” of SF training, PN. I think he got dropped for cause.
Looking at his ranks, he appears to have been reduced from SP4 to PVT/E2 on 20 April 1968 – while attending the SF course. He was transferred to the 82nd about a month later. I’m guessing he may well have done something that got him thrown out of SF training – as well as bad enough to result in either a Field Grade Art 15 or a Summary Court-Martial.
I could be wrong. But it fits.
I’m not getting the “made E-4” twice. Looking at his records, it looks like he got busted from E-4 to E-2 in Training Group in May 1968, released to the 82nd and ETS’d Sep 68. All of the E-4 promotions listedc are dated 27 Jan 1967. Am I missing something?
It’s no shame to wash out of SF Training, at least he had the guts to try, but to get busted and thrown out is the mark of a true Shit Bird.
The NA13164 (FOIA coversheet) gives his rank on discharge as E4. He was busted to E2 on 20 Apr 1968; his discharge from active duty date was 20 Dec 1968.
It’s possible he made SP4 again before his Dec 68 discharge and that wasn’t properly recorded on his DA20. However, it’s also conceivable that the records tech at NPRC misread the file – and that he never again was promoted before ETS. As you note, the last two promo entries for E4 appear to refer to the same one listed above his reduction to E2 – e.g., the one occurring in Jan 1967.
Wonder if this is worth a follow-up FOIA request. Hmm.
Another embroidery warrior spinning heroic tales from his I love me shrine room. No matter how many fake certificates and fake awards when you look in the mirror a disgraceful, dishonorable, shit sniffing, fist fucker stares back! Fuck you for wearing my crest and my patch!
I just noticed the year ‘1968’. On July 4th, 1968, my father took me to a John Wayne movie, “The Green Berets”. He must have watched all the credits at the end of the movie and deemed himself a graduate….
He was just familiar enough from his time at the “Q” course to bullshit his make believe heroics. Guess he didn’t take into account he’d be questioned about his time in Group you know which ODA, who was your Tm Sgt, Co SGM etc. Note to posers, small communities will expose you 99% of the time.
It’s as if these fuckwits are claiming they ‘re something they’re not because they self identify as such. How soon will some SJW come along and become an apologist for this sort of behavior?
Smegging Smeghead
A connoisseur of smegma.
E-4 twice? Is he claiming he’s an E-8 anywhere? Something about this clown reminds me of DiCkSmOkEr41.
Wore one on each sleeve, do the math: E4 x 2 = E8. Basic faker math course 101.
tps://www.facebook.com/GreenBeretFoundation/posts/10153149880036990
this the same guy? filming a special?
Yep, that the same turd. I’m writing the GBF now.
It appears that the first photo up top is from that FB page.
The guy was an Airborne MP and, having been one, I can tell you, they are a pretty exclusive bunch and well-proud of it. When I was in the 101st MP’s, you had to meet some pretty strict mental and physical criteria to be assigned there and jumping was a routine part of the job. These are combat MP’s not just garrison cops.
So the guy had earned his jump wings and accomplished more than many others who serve but he still had to embellish.
Go figure…
PT: not much figuring necessary. He got busted 2 stripes while at SF training, then sent to an Inf Bn until ETS vice back to his previous MP unit.
Sounds to me like he did something muy estúpido while in SF training and paid the price for same. Makes perfect sense that he’d try to hide that; lying about his past is one way to attempt to do so.
Did you notice his stellar career after getting the boot?
Auto Rifleman C Co 2/504, for 1 Week then
Ops Assistant HHC 2/504
Lt Trk Driver HHC 2/504
and out of the pool.
I really don’t see another stripe on that career path.
I’d guess one – maybe (E3). But E4 seems a helluva stretch.
I guess it’s theoretically possible he got promoted in the IRR after leaving active duty, but I’d kinda doubt that also.
He must’ve been fairly sharp, though, to go from line company grunt to ops asst on battalion staff as a private.
That’s highly unusual or was in my day, unless the guy was a college graduate.
Something’s just totally not right about this guy. Maybe he was a con artist, even back then.
You have some class…not bad. Only can say I did not drop out or wash out…circumstances got special assignments on and off post through Post CO, an aide, and Senate…reported only to those. Our actions changed entire U.S. Military. I agreed to be the agent of change. No need to tell others even now—repercussions for many. Did not get “busted” either…but looks like that…under orders. Records are altered.
Geez….how many SF Crests can you wear on one outfit?
Fucking Domm Shit.
Ja – Herr Sehr Domm Scheiße.
Interestingly enough, it appears as if Domm has started creating his “SF persona” since 1991 – though I wonder about many of the rest of the claims in this article:
http://articles.baltimoresun.com/1991-09-11/news/9113009405_1_baldy-domm-charles-g
I guess if you’re gonna fuck up, might as well go big or go home.
And memo to FB commenter at top: eat a bag of dicks. There, happy?
American Military University: A non-accredited diploma mill. Nuff Said.
http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/American-Military-University/internet/American-Military-University-AMU-Degree-mill-setting-the-bar-low-Internet-570108
No doubt this is the same guy who wrote the short intro at the top of this page. Can’t spell for crap…..and thinks he knows something!!! Click on the link and see for yourself
Current AMU student, completely disagree with author of orginal post
Hint…notice even the intro to his own story is lacking in spelling. Probably not important, even to a P. H. D
I dislike for profit universities, but AMU is accredited as a member of APUS. See here: https://www.amu.apus.edu/aboutus/accreditation.html
They are not defined as a diploma mill, and they wouldn’t be regionally accredited if they were. Contrast that with a popular online university in my neck of the woods–Columbia Southern University. They are not regionally accredited. Undergrads from there can’t get a graduate degree from an accredited university without having an articulation agreement in place, and those are rare.
Thanks for the update. I checked on this so-called school back in ’07 when I was in theater and at that time they were not accredited, but by the reviews from Rip-Off Report I posted above. I would still avoid this institution.
Always at the top of the page along with the intro will be a couple of interesting tidbits. First the newspaper picture. That looks like a hardcore American looking V C to me. Probably captured her all by himself. Hellofaman!!
Look even closer at the comment by some nitwit from American Military University. “Not even worth an educated response since half the people on here can’t speak without seeing how vulgar and illiterate they can be”.

Folks, we need to be very careful and tread lightly, he has a loaded Sharpie in his top left shirt pocket. If you look closely at both photos, he is brandishing a black Sharpie-15 in one and the deadly red Sharpie-60 in the other. We are all well aware of the chaos the red Sharpie can rain down.
Hah! I have EVERY ONE OF YOU beat. When Ladybird Johnson came over to NPC to screen one of LBJ’s (numerous) films, she was accompanied by a bunch of BRASS. I was told by my division officer to sit next to one 2-stripe Admiral during the screening. When I asked why, I was told ‘Wait for it’. So, not only did this Admiral refer to me as ‘Miss –‘, instead of PH2 –, he also fell asleep during the screening in the middle of one of LBJ’s speeches and snored loudly. I promptly pushed his head in the other direction to wake him up. He still called me ‘Miss –‘ when he thanked me later.
So that means I automatically got an on-the-spot commission, no OCS, RIGHT???? See? I got ALL of you beat by a country mile. 😛 😛 😛
I hate to do it to you darlin’ but you gotta go back up there and look at Ol’ Poe’s list. As I increase my alcohol intake here on the evening of Friday the 13th I’m just likely to remember some more.
Which I just did. On multiple occasions I called on the Navy’s semi-secret boomer bases at Pt. Loma, CA and King’s Bay, GA. Almost got in trouble at the last one for showing too much interest in a boomer tied up alongside the tender I was on. They had the towed array compartment open and the device itself laying out on the deck aft of the sail with all the coiled cables and I made the mistake of leaning over the rail and saying, “Well that’s interesting.”
Almost got arrested. Is there a badge for that?
Yeah, it’s a number on your chest in your mug shot. 🙂 <3 <3 <3
If you only knew…
