The best Trump commercial ever
For any politically informed person paying attention to the organized demonstrations against Donald Trump taking place in California, it is obvious that it is the hand of La Raza and other Mexican nationalist organizations like MEChA in all those sock puppets waving all those Mexican flags. It is also obvious that all those bulk-purchased banners are full-color commercials for Donald Trump. While surely unintentional, that is the effect they likely are having on a large segment of America that up until now might have considered Donald’s dire warnings about illegal aliens and Mexican government encouragement to be exaggerated or even racist.
But not even Trump has accused the Mexican government of being complicit in and facilitating the southern border invasion as a means of regaining those territories of Northern Mexico lost to the United States in its westward expansion, whether by unjust war or unfair treaty. Long a goal of various Mexican nationalist organizations in the Southwest, which they call Aztlan, reunification of more welcoming parts of the region now appears to be underway
I’m all for letting them have California as a test case. They’ll probably be begging to rejoin the Union as soon as the Mexican government cuts off all their welfare, food stamps, and free health care. Perhaps then they’ll recall why they fled Mexico in the first place. Let ’em back in?

“Make America Mexico again”. Really? You mean the shit hole your folks ran away from and come back from every time they’re deported, is what you want America to be. Right? So my answer is this. Get your sorry asses back to Mexico and make your wonderful Mexico the place you want it to be. A place where you can wave the American flag if you want to without getting beat to death. In other words, more like America than the corrupt, drug controlled septic tank it is. Fuck off and die you sorry bottom feeding, blood suckers. If you love Mexico so damned much, get the hell back there and Adios, don’t come back ever.
Can’t top that! Good job Sparks. Only on this site is where a person can find such well-written and self-explanatory comments. I am in total agreement with every word. S/F
“Make America Mexico again”? It never was Mexico, they want to make the US a dirtbag, 3rd world, corrupt, drug cartel controlled farce of a country, like the shythole these ignorant assholes couldn’t wait to get out of!
As Jarhead said, can’t top that. Thanks, Sparks.
Aside from that hateful statement, that I wince seeing a fellow veteran say about a very hard working and culturally diverse people. The core message here is a reminder of our country’s historical actions that many do not know about.
If these signs cause some people to simply google the forced Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo of 1848 or the Texas annexation (nevermind how our other land expansions were gained), maybe it would cause some empathy and perceptive. I’ve spent a lot of time in Mexico and have never met a resident of that country here or there that exhibits the attributes you describe.
Before the classic rebuttals, I’m a white combat veteran that usually votes very conservatively who supports strengthening our country’s borders. It just disgusts me when I see so much hatred towards an people, no matter their national nor genetic heritage.
My rebuttal has nothing to do with your race, combat experience or voting record. It also has nothing to do with Mexicans national or genetic heritage. What it has everything to do with people who come to this country and expect their new country to become what they expect it to be and for that country to bear the financial and cultural burden of their expected way of life. If they want to come to America and be American citizens then they should do everything they can to assimilate into their new country’s culture and heritage, be law abiding citizens and continue to the financial security and well being of that country. When another country’s citizens go to another country and attempt to claim it as their own it is called an invasion. The groups that are behind this movement (La Raza, etc.) have little in common with the culture of Mexico that you’re referring to. They are a special breed in and of themselves.
What exactly are you objecting to?
I may or may not represent the views of any other poster of comments here, but I don’t give a flip whether the invading force is Mexican, Malaysian Methodist, or Martian. We have a right to defend our borders from any and all who criminally enter this country, and we are under no obligation to treat them better than the criminals that they are. I just don’t care how old they are, what language they speak, and I certainly don’t care their country of origin. They could all be from the same countries from which my ancestors came, and it would make no difference to me.
Unlike some (perhaps you are one of them, A6Q?), I have had friends and acquaintances from many countries, ethnicities, and all that other stuff I was brought up to view as superficial crap which occurred merely as an accident of birth my entire life. Instead, I make friends based upon common interests, values and such – you know, kind of like what Martin Luther King, Jr taught – based upon the content of one’s character. Many of us already knew how to do that long before the lefties started pretending that they needed to teach it.
I have no rebuttal, classic or otherwise, to your words, A6Q, because I have little idea what it is you are saying. You like Mexico. That’s great. The issue isn’t Mexico. The issue is Mexican nationals illegally pouring into this country –presumably your country, as well as ours–with impunity. I am sure that some are hardworking, just as I am certain that some are hardcore criminals. It would be nice that this sovereign nation could choose which Mexicans are to be permitted to reside here. That isn’t happening and that’s the beef.
A6Q, as someone who spent many decades in Texas, I would suggest you not try to make that argument about “Texas Annexation” in any bars in that state as it might cause a bit of a ruckus. The preferred nomenclature is the Texas Revolution and it’s hallowed status is on par with the American Revolution in the minds of many Texans.
Yes, it was a white-led revolution by Houston, Austin, Crockett and others, but there were plenty of Texas-Mexicans like Juan Seguin, who were also opposed to the despotic regime in Mexico City and fought on the side of the victorious Texicans.
As for the hatred against a people-I think you’re confusing justifiable anger against lawlessness and ingratitude with ethnic hatred. Yeah, the language may be a bit rough but that’s just TAH, where the discourse just ain’t what you’d find at the officers club.
But you’ve paid your dues, you’re entitled to your opinion and we’ll give it a listen. Just be prepared to defend it.
Yes, by all means, make America Mexico again. Can someone remind me the name of the Mexican virologist who developed the polio vaccine? Where and when did the Mexican Manhattan Project take place? When did the Mexican moon landing occur? How many Mexican divisions landed at Normandy? Mexico is a failed state run by oligarchs and has been for a very long time.
No, that wasn’t the Mexican Moon Missions, it was the Muslim Moon Missions, they invented the atomic bomb and we all know that Einstein stole the E=MC2 from a Muslim Imam.
Get it right or I’m telling oblowme…
Mexico was one our allies during WW2. They even had a couple squadrons flyimg P-47s.
That also managed to beat the French Foreign Legion. ?
They can have LA, maybe Imperial County, and the Barrio Logan neighborhood of San Diego. Thats where the Mexican-supremacists congregate, and other Californians, even many of the liberals, will say, “good riddance.” They’ll find the rest of SoCal decidedly hostile to their aims, and remarkably well-armed.
No, don’t give the bastards one more inch of our country. Fuck them and the burro they rode in on. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hildago was signed to spare Santa Anna’s ass if I recall history correctly? and paid the Mexican Government 15 MIL for it to boot.
I laugh every time some Mexican National or activist claims the Gringo stole this land from Mexico. The US didn’t steal this land, they won it when Mexico lost first to the Texans and they lost the Mexican American War.
Then the US made the Gadsden Purchase for seven million dollars which the Mexican people didn’t get squat.
If they still bellyache remind them it belonged to Nueva Espana before it was Mexico. Before that it belong to the first or Native Americans. You know, Pueblo, Zuni, Chiricahua, Hopi, Navajo, Apache, Comanche and a hundred other tribes.
SJWs would have the U.S. give back the territory ceded by Mexico after the war, but would they give it back to the indigenous folks they conquered? Would that indigenous group then hand it over to the helpless tribes they drove out? The logic behind this movement begins to unwind quickly.
AK, reminds me of the cartoon of two Indians standing under a palm tree looking out at a couple of anchored galleons. The caption:
“They just want to do the jobs our young braves won’t do.”
Excuse me but if I have my history correct wasn’t Mexico populated by Indians before the Spanish arrived ? Maybe the Indians should ask the Spanish to leave and then they can have their country back. Just asking.
Mexico belonged to the French by way of Napoleon Bonaparte, in case you hadn’t heard. If he hadn’t lost the Peninsular Wars to the Brits, the major language there would be French instead of Spanish.
Interestingly, PH2, you can still encounter blue-eyed, red-headed, very European-appearing Mexicans in varied parts of the country, who are descendants of the Irish mercenary regiments that Napoleon used to fight in Mexico.
Those Micks may have lost their battles but they sure left their mark on the country.
And also oddly, Poetrooper, because of the wreck of the Spanish Armada, there are Irish and Welsh people who have black hair and blue or green eyes.
Trump has poor favorability rating with nearly every demographic in the electorate.
To assume that the people protesting him are doing it for one single reason is absurd.
There is a lot of people from a lot of different demographics protesting Trump for a lot of different reasons.
And these demonstrations are not particularly organized. There are certain political interest groups making callout for demonstrations and trying to facilitate them but the coordination is poor and most people demonstrating are demonstrating because they personally do not like Trump not because some Facebook share or email “called” them to action.
C’mon Lars, that is just so lame to claim these demonstrations aren’t organized. What, they have to do synchronized swimming before you’ll admit they’re organized?
I suppose all those Mexican flags, strangely all the same size, just magically materialized on a street corner approximate to the demonstration site?
As for the multiple demographics present, I agree. You have illegal Mexicans, illegal Mexican’s with criminal warrants out on them, illegal Mexican welfare deadbeats, illegal Mexican gangbangers and illegal Mexican drug dealers. You want more?
The only demographic you don’t see represented is that of the illegal Mexican’s who actually came here for a job because they’re out busting their asses somewhere to put food on the table.
Once again, Lars, you amaze with your ability to make silly excuses for bad behavior by people with whom you share silly political views.
Poe, there are organization that called for protests. So some groups of demonstrators are internally organized in that they are there in response to the same call for protests.
But there is very little coordination between groups and most people are just there because they do not like Trump and there is a Trump protest.
It is really no a conspiracy. People do not like Trump. People protest things they do not like when it involved politics.
Especially if they are aware of them and there has been non-stop media and internet attention on Trump and his visit to California. People have been WAITING for him to come to California just so they have a chance to tell him what a shitbag they think he is by standing in a group of other people that also think he is a shitbag.
“People protest things they do not like when it involved politics.” In this case they are protesting someone who is going to make them do things the right way. Legal immigration vice the carte blanche “come on in” Obama has allowed them and deportation for those here illegally. Get to work and get your asses off the welfare roles. Things like that is what they are protesting, not particularly Trump. But anyone who would dare say it to them and Trump happens to be the one saying it. I offer again, if they love Mexico so much, why do we not see American flags waved in protests across Mexico shouting, “We are treated damned well in America and we want the same benefits here! We want our great home nation Mexico to be as great as America is!” But no, they know they would be shot, their families murdered by cartels in collaboration with the government and so forth. So it’s easier to come here and protest to have a little “American-Mexico” than it is to fight on your home soil for a better country and life for yourself, your family and generations to come. But then again why fight at home? It’s easier to invade our nation illegally and then demand you be treated as you want, not as your hosts choose. The answer is our freedoms which they enjoy allow their demonstrations and give them all they ask for. Pretty good deal if you can get it don’t you think? Why take all of that piss and vinegar back home and make Mexico great when it is easier by far to continue to arm twist your hosts into not only supporting you from cradle to grave but to speak your language, print government documents and forms in your language, have stores put up aisle signs in your language and for the most part, bow and kiss their asses for the liberal fear they will have their “cultural feeling hurt”. Again, fuck them up, down and sideways. It’s a damned good thing I am not the Emperor Lars or… Read more »
WORD!!
I couldn’t have put it better.. Well Said
Protesting is not “bad” behavior.
It is creepy that you think it is.
What kind of government would we need to have for protesting to be illegal?
In my mind protesting is essential to democracy. Vital. It is in fact one of the cornerstone actions that led to the founding of democracy in America.
Let’s take a vote and see how many here think waving those Mexican flags is bad behavior, Lars.
And please permit me to do a bit of editing to your last response.
“SHITBAGS have been WAITING for him to come to California just so they have a chance to tell him what a shitbag they think he is by standing in a group of other SHITBAGS that also think he is a shitbag.
There, fixed it for ya…
When you use the word “protesting” to describe rioting, then yes indeed, “protesting” is bad behavior. There is no constitutional protection for rioting or any other form of expression which is otherwise illegal. Assault, destruction of public property and all that are not protected “speech.”
Oh. Asshole is here. AMF.
PLEASE BAN HIM. His bullshit wastes so many precious electrons.
SJ, in your travels through Mexico have you ever encountered any of those Irish-Mexicans I wrote of above?
This just in…The dozens of Mexican-flag carrying thugs who attacked Trump supporters and engaged in other violent acts were Japanese, Italian, and Irish Americans. More on this at 11…
It’s interesting how the historical record can get bent to support an agenda.
Although Spain “claimed” California in the 1500s, the Spanish did virtually nothing with it for the next 200 years. Starting in the late 1700s, due to both American and Russian expansion, the Spanish tried to have more of a presence in the state, but the best idea it could come up with was to allow Franciscan friars to establish a string of self-supporting missions which were an effort by the Catholic Church– not the Spanish government.
Spain’s weak claim to California was extended to Mexico following Mexican independence in 1821, and for the next 25 years California was mostly ignored due to political turmoil in Mexico City. In 1846, a bunch of fed up Californians staged the Bear Flag Revolt which led to the separation of the state from Mexico prior to the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848. A treaty which formally put paid to any Mexican claim.
Ties were further cut with the discovery of gold in 1849, with one of the effects of the Gold Rush being the establishment of the trans-continental railroad in the 1860s.
That’s a thumbnail sketch; there’s plenty of additional material available to support detail and context.
Plus, California was also claimed by the English (whose flag was planted by none other than that magnificent bastard Sir Francis Drake) and the Russians in that same timeframe. And none of them were particularly nice to the Indians, who, in turn, had taken California by slaughtering the previous inhabitants.
Sir Francis Drake was a magnificent bastard, and it’s a good thing the Russians took a hike. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have the amazing sea otter cam:

There are many videos available that document the blessed right of protest being exercised outside of the Trump rally. About that right. I can’t find it in the Constitution. I do find a right of the People to peaceably assemble, but that is subject to certain time, place, and manner limitations. The protest outside of the Trump rally met none of the legally recognized assembly allowances. In fact, it was a mini riot with people jumping up and down on a police car’s roof, a police car’s windshield being smashed, traffic being blocked, and a car pulling donuts wildly in the street in total disregard of others’ safety. Individuals were bloodied and some two dozen arrests were made. None of this bears any relation to peaceable assemblage but, evidently, one doesn’t have to be Mexican to miss that point.
I looked at how the HuffPo treated the violence and other illegalities perpetrated by the mob outside of the Trump rally. The crowd is gently chided for being “raucous” and “rowdy.” No, I didn’t expect the truth to be published. I just thought it would be a fun exercise to see how HuffPo dealt with it. I am quite sure that other media members (and I do mean members) likewise treated the rioters with kid gloves and omitted or buried the flagrant violence committed by the “protesters.” MSNBC reported the fun under this headline: “Protesters and Police Face Off Outside of Trump Speech in California.” The police and the protesters are thus placed on equal footing, as if it was a hockey or lacrosse contest. No wonder Trump is doing well.Poe is 100% right. If this keeps up, there will be no contested convention.
Nothing new, of course. The lefties have been wreaking havoc upon society for decades and are always reported to be engaging in wholesome activities instead of the filthy and illegal things they actually do.
A lot of folks were awakened to that reality a few years ago when the Tea Party gatherings garnered a bunch of negative press for things which almost no one was aware occurred. A single questionable sign, for instance, was used for multiple gotcha moments.
Dozens of thugs supporting the lefty agenda are “not representative of the protestors,” when they have actually been trained and organized by the event sponsors. A single “conservative” behaving badly is broadcast as “typical” even when he/she/it is a plant from the lefties.
Yeah, and more recently we had that jerk at the Trump rally who was described as being viciously beaten, stomped, kicked, and what not by the Trump supporter. The reality of that near deadly beating was that the guy have a TV interview the next day and didn’t have a mark on him, although there is no question that he was struck by a glancing blow after instigating the reaction.
Don the Brilliant is at it again. He is running with a crazy story about Ted Cruz’s father hanging out with Lee Harvey Oswald. I tell you. I thought I could hold my nose and vote for him but he’ll get slaughtered in a debate with Wide Load. She will slice and dice him. It will be very entertaining and sickening at the same time. It will be The Bitch versus The Moron for President of the United States of America. Stocking my cave any day now…
Honestly, I just don’t understand how some people refuse to see the plain truth. There is one Constitutional conservative left in the race and that man is Ted Cruz, but if Trump wins tonight our chance to nominate someone who takes the Constitution seriously will almost certainly have gone by the wayside.
I am with you 100% 68W58. (Hey, may I call you 68?) I am so sick about this whole mess, from millions supporting a freaking commie, to millions more supporting that sick, twisted, lying bag of shit, Wide Load, and the best we can do is throw Trump at them? Every time he opens his yap, I cringe.
Felt the same about voting for an actor. That turned out pretty well, so am hoping this one will also.
The actor was well read, thoughtful, decent, charming, and articulate. He also had two terms as gov of CA before he entered the White House. I’m not at all certain that Trump has read a book since college. My problem is that my distaste for him is growing into revulsion, not unlike that I have for Wide Load and The Bum. That leaves me in a bind. Do I not vote or do I vote for the crass big mouth?
You vote for at least two somewhat more conservative Supreme Court justices than the outright gun-grabbing socialists you’ll get from Hillary. THAT’S what you vote for.
I also think you’re selling Trump short on intellectual heft. A lot of very bright people who have known him for decades think he’ll do just fine as president. Yeah, he’s a brash smartass who doesn’t mind letting you know he believes he’s smarter than you, but didn’t you meet a lot of guys from NYC in the army who had that same swagger? It didn’t make them stupid-annoying maybe, but not stupid.
His brash behavior bugs me too, so I just tune him out like I do Obama. I’d damned sure rather listen to Trump for four years than Hillary Clinton.
Actually, He’s being a brash smart ass doesn’t bother me. I have no doubt whatsoever that he does not know the subject matter of the Constitution’s first three articles. You are correct regarding the Sup Ct, with at least two seats foreseeably available over the next few years and perhaps three. I will keep that in mind. It may prove to be the only reason I can vote–which is more than Trump has done regularly over the last 20-30 years.
Look at the bright side, Cav. We lost the last two presidential elections because our candidates were too “nice” to go after their opponent’s obvious weaknesses.
We won’t have to worry about that this time. I think you’re way off in believing that Hillary will slice him and dice him. When has Hillary ever won a debate that wasn’t set up for her to win? If the media tries that shit with Trump, he’ll rip them and Hillary a new ass and they know it.
Has everybody figured out that it isn’t going to get any better after the elections? Because it isn’t.
And I’ll give you a hint about something: Ted Cruz is the modern version of a Televangelist. He’s trouble with a capital ‘T’. I won’t even bother to attempt to quantify Trump, and there’s nothing I can add about Hillary. But Cruz? I don’t trust that man as far as I could throw him.
Indeed. I think after the convention is going to be especially bad. Then it’s going to be the good vs Hitlary. And when the anti-Hitlary crowd gets pushed by Make America Mexico, anti-Trump crowd it’s going to get violent I’m afraid. Well, more violent.
Perhaps Trump, Cruz and Clinton can duke it out in a cage match, best man wins….
Heads up, people!
Cruz lost badly in Indiana and has officially dropped out of the Republican race.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/ted-cruz-drops-out-of-the-republican-presidential-race/2016/05/03/8f955a06-0fe7-11e6-81b4-581a5c4c42df_story.html
That leaves Trump on the right side of the fence. Who will he face, come November?
There is old video of the bernout surfacing now that has him being interviewed, saying he thinks bread lines are really good things because then the poor get to have bread. I guess he’s never heard of bakeries, or making bread at home, or stores that carry dozens of different varieties of breads, including the ready-to-bake kind. I’m sure that he doesn’t know that almost all bakery companies have thrift shops that take the bread out of the grocery store and sell it at a much lower price. I’m sure he also doesn’t know that you can buy bread in bulk and freeze it for future use.
Yes, he really is that stupid.
